A nightmare from the start. Limited options in Fallbrook for pizza especially right now. The person who answered the phone fought us on delivery based on our address but they have delivered here before. After getting managerial approval, even though we live 3.5 miles away they finally "made an exception". Boneless wings were burned and tasted old. Chicken is not great quality, lots of grizzle. Pizza crust was not cooked all the way through, pepperoni was tasty but that's the only saving grace. Delivery driver did keep his distance which was appreciated and was fast, that's the only reason I gave two stars. I love Mountain Mike's. That said, today, they're f*ckin' up! The beer is flat and the pizza, according to my wife, "needs salt." The staff today must be the trash crew; my little family and I were the only ones here for quite a while (two other tables have since been populated) and the four or five employees on duty all sat down at a table to enjoy chow together. We just moved to Fallbrook a few months ago. So I decided to give a try. I was greeted when I first walked inside. I told her it was my first time and she made some suggestions. And she kept going on and on about how good their pizza was. I told her that I'm in the food industry and will let her know ,Casity was her name I believe. My husband and I live in the Gird Valley and while Mountain Mike's pizza hasn't been the best pizza we have ever had, they were solidly and consistently good AND THEY DELIVERED TO OUR HOUSE!!! For those on the outskirts of Fallbrook, you know this is huge. Somehow, since our last order on September 11th, they no longer deliver to our house. I'm really bummed. I went to Mountain Mike's excited to try the new pizza place in town. However, when I tried to order a pizza for pick-up, the phone number didn't work. So, I tried to order the pizza online and it asked for the non-existent coupon code...therefore, I couldn't do that either. I decided to walk to the restaurant since it is near my home. The ladies working the register were nice and I told them the problems that I had trying to order. They got the manager out to talk to me about the problem. The manager was rude and basically did nothing to help me with my concerns. My main concern when I go into a business is being treated with courtesy. I believe that I was treated like my business was unnecessary. What this manager doesn't realize is that there are too many other options for his nonchalant, non-caring attitude: Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Trupiano's, frozen pizza from Albertson's...and I could continue. Regardless of how I felt about the taste of the pizza, I won't be back because of the bad taste the manager's attitude left in my mouth. read more

Nom nom nom is what my family says when I talk about Mountain Mike's pizza. Their veggie, cheese, as well as their BBQ pizza are wonderful. I ordered delivery here once and it was a good experience. Prompt, and pizza was still nice and warm. They send out coupons and someday I can't wait to use one! My family like (needs?) the biggest pizza and the coupons apply to smaller ones. I can say that Mountain Mike's is much better than Dominos in town. You can really tell when it comes to high quality ingredients, and Mountain Mikes has it. No bueno came is here with a coworker that said a new pizza place opened up we should try until after we ate he's like this pizza sucks too much crust overcooked on top not enough on the bottom the pizza was all crust and the tomato sauce tasted like canned tomatos and gave us both heartburn like a mother. This place has good pizza, but what discouraged me the most is. The girl working there is rude, my daughter out $1 in quarters to soon to get a prize, and nothing came out. I asked the employee to fix it, and to my notice she said look at the sign "play at your own risk, might not work." Clearly this places steals from little kids, how can they even have games that kids are suppose to get prizes when you pay and then steal your money? We were very disappointed when Pizza Hut moved out of Fallbrook. Mike's has definitely taken up the slack!! Their pizza is absolutely great, and they have an Xlarge size besides!! Good menu with lots of choices, and we love their pizza, it's REALLY good. Don't know why others have rated them less than 5 stars, but we are never disappointed. You should give it a try! I visited Mountain Mikes tonight with a chip on my shoulder. Two local pizza places have folded here, and I really like to support the small business. Also, the reviews I have read have been mixed about their product. That being said,I am happy to report my beautiful bride and I give Mountain Mikes five stars. We got the Everest, and along with the coupon at the cashier my take-out price was about $23.00 for a large specialty pizza. A pretty good price. I asked for extra sauce on my pie because that was one of the common complaints. No extra charge. I like that. The salad bar was fairly basic, a limited number of options. We will give Mountain Mikes another try, perhaps the dinner buffet or one of the enticing sandwiches. read more

Well. The wife and kid and I went to Mountain Mikes pizza today, the new place by Albertsons. Good atmosphere, crap pizza. We got a small and a kids pizza and spent $30; felt like I overpaid for frozen, never fresh Red Barron pizza. The crust underneath was super hard, the toppings were waayyy over baked to the point my son even gave me his pepperonis because he said they were to hard to chew... and they were. The pizza was super doughy, the service was awkward at best. The guy (guessing the manager from how everyone acted around him) brought our stuff out to us, I said, "awesome, thank you," he just stared and said, "yup." The kids at the front were more interested in hitting on each other then helping people, a guy stood there for nearly ten minutes before he said, "f this," and walked out followed by a, "get the hell out then," from someone in back. Not to mention they advertise beer but only carry a few and had even less available. All in all, I'd give it a 2 star because they were playing sports and it's a huge space (being way under used). We won't be back, but if they improve their quality of food and staff, and perhaps put some arcade games in, and get good beers then maybe I'll rethink my decision. read more

I went after a local Facebook group suggested it as "amazing." I don't eat pizza, so I was excited to have a buffet salad bar option. Boy was I wrong. It was $10 a person for stale bread sticks and iceberg lettuce. I feel totally ripped off. The salad bar was terrible, canned corn and canned beans, not even any dressing that was normal. The pizza available was spicy vegetable, no cheese or pepperoni was available, my kids ate the bread sticks at $10 each I'll never go here again. I've been to Mountain Mike's at least 15+ times since they moved in. It's a nice step up from Scoreboard Pizza in terms of quality and dining environment. The pizza is decent, not great, and the prices are fairly steep for what you get. It's a bit greasier than what you'd expect, but not terrible. They have lots of flat panel TVs for watching sports and probably 8-10 different beers on draught. On Wedneaday nights they have a pizza buffet. The choices are fairly limited, so don't expect great variety. Unfortunately they don't place plates next to the buffet, so people take their used plates back up to the buffet for seconds, which is not very sanitary. The County Health Dept. may have something to say about that. When I asked one of the employees why they don't place clean plates next to the buffet, she said that it would be too difficult to monitor and people would steal the pizza. The dining room is usually fairly clean, although I've seen 8-10 tables simultaneously sit covered with dirty dishes for 20+ minutes when they're busy or short-staffed. The young kids working there are generally friendly and helpful. Village Pizza is definitely better, but the prices are higher, it's a longer drive (at least for me), and Village Pizza has only two small TVs. I'm happy Mountain Mike's is in Fallbrook and we'll continue to go once a month or so. read more

It is freezing in here and its June. Bring a sweater! The salad bar is laughable and the sizes are not big at all. A medium should be a small, a large should be a medium and the mountain should be a large. It's super greasy pizza so don't forget the antacids! read more

This pizza place is way to expensive. $90 for a large pizza, a medium pizza, personal pizza, and some mozzarella sticks? Are you kidding me?! This place is great! The pepperoni is a little different but still really good (my kids call it pimple pepperoni). Their Hawaiian is amazing and the cheese is on point. I definitely think it's a great Fallbrook pizza joint that won't disappoint. One major thing to be aware of however is that they are a little pricey, but they are well worth it in my opinion. read more

This is a very convenient place as we frequently find ourselves at Albertsons or CVS and hungry. We couldn't wait for Mike's to open and just tried it out yesterday. We shared a mini pizza which was delicious and just right for the two of us. Add to that a cute little pitcher of Bud, perfect! A special shout out to Faith. She was taking orders, keeping the buffet area stocked, cleaning tables and even ran out to make a delivery during our visit. Worst ever! Service was terrible and found 3 rubber bands in my pizza and that only the ones we found. The ones you find holding bundles of vegetables together.
