Mountain Mike's is one of our favorite pizza spots, but it's tough to find a place that's really clean and neat. We stumbled upon this one after a walk along the river, and it turned out to be a great find. The location is awesome--super clean inside and in the bathrooms. We order from our local Mountain Mike's a lot but this was the first time I've even been inside one. This Gold River location is really big and super clean, with a large seating area and bar. I ate in the bar area with my group and the service from the bartender was wonderful. He was very attentive and friendly. I have been watching my calories so I had a mini pizza. It comes with up to three toppings and I had mushroom, onion and artichoke. They had three different onion choices which was nice too - I got red. My pizza was fresh and delicious and just the perfect size for me. I even ate all the crust which is unusual for me. They have plenty of choices for toppings, specialty pizzas and sauces, and lots of good beers on tap. Would definitely recommend. read more

Cooked to perfection! What I love about mountain Mike says the amount of pepperonis they put on the pizza. Substituting for white sauce is always a must! 8:30 pm on a Friday night and no delivery because the driver left already. Disappointed and ordered elsewhere....This was the first review I left. Tried to give them another chance and placed an order on line. Called the restaurant to confirm the order was received. I had to call TWELVE times because someone kept answering the phone and hanging up. I finally speak to "ZOE" who tells me that she was getting ready to call me to tell me that delivery is closed. It's only 8:19 pm and they already charged my card. Told her that I would be reporting this to the owner and Mountain Mikes Corporate Office and she had a very non-chalant attitude and could care less. Mountain Mikes has permanently lost my business. This place has some of the best workers especially Fred in the bar, food is always hot and delicious. Salad bar needs to be maintained a bit better with croutons and fresh salad, but overall place is on point. read more

This past Christmas I was on the hunt to find a venue for my branch's annual Holiday Luncheon that would a suit all of our needs: delicious food, large enough to accommodate our group of 40, private area where we could be loud & rowdy, and all for a reasonable price. Jackpot! This Mountain Mikes checked off everything for us. I will say this Mountain Mikes establishment was definitely not like the ones I've been to! Walking into the restaurant, immediately I could see it just went under renovations. The owners did a beautiful job with the layout and designing of the restaurant. A modern rustic appeal where you would forget that you're even at a Mountain Mikes. I noticed it had plenty of open space for dining inside, patio seating, a bar to hang out at enjoying many of their thirst quenching beers on tap, equipped with sports bar TV's, arcade machines, a salad bar with a variety of toppings to choose from, and best of all a very spacious private room perfect for my work's holiday party. We had the choice of 4 different types of pizzas, the salad bar, and fountain drinks as part of our package. Our group chose Pepperoni, The Everest, Mt. Veggemore, and Chicken Club. I come for the lunch buffet pretty often since I work in the area. There is always pizza ready on time for the buffet and the salad bar is great. The only reason why I give 3 stars is because the worker that tends to be here almost every time I come is extremely rude and just short with his responses. With the curved up pepperoni slices we all became obsessed! This location has a beautiful bar with many TVs with a variety of sports playing. They have quite a few beers on tap- I had the Fort Rock ($5.50) as part of their seasonal rotation. They also have a wine list here, unlike the usual sports bar/pizza place when your only option is red or white- no variances, so that's great for the wine lover who also wants to catch a game and some amazing pizza. The staff was so friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed while I sat at the bar enjoying my pizza, beer, and random conversation with the place's regulars. If I could leave no stars I would. I ordered a pizza from them and it was not made correctly as I asked for. I try and resolve the situation today and the best they wanna do for me is $10 off my next order because they feel justified that because I got a discount on my order that it makes it OK that the pizza was not made correctly because I got a discount on it. I was basically told take or leave what they were offering me as a resolution. They refuse to remake my pizza. I will not be giving them my business anymore and I will never recommend anybody go to this Mountain Mike's. I don't know if the owner is aware that there's multiple Mountain Mike's in the area as well as many pizza places to choose from including Costco where you can get a large pepperoni pizza that taste better than their pizza. read more

This place was horrible it was disgustingly hot inside no air, salad bars veggies were old no selection it was lunch all you can eat no pizza ready and we waited for nothing once we finally got our food it was horrible poor customer service we ended up asking for our money back establishment was really dirty. Picked up the BEST Mountain Mikes pizza in 20 years. The topping was distributed perfectly. The crust was cooked perfectly and was extremely tasty. Having worked in the pizza business in the past, I recognize it when heart and soul are in a great pizza. The inside of the restaurant was well lit, spotless, and very organized. There's plenty of space for distancing and large groups. I loved the bar area and all of the television monitors with sports. I plan on spending more time there. It's Pizza Week!! This location a first and you will find it's spacious dinning for the whole family. You walk in and it does not feel like a pizza joint with loud music , crazy deco and huge booth tables. What you get here is a cool atmosphere , lots of room for families , parties , meetings , high top tables , a beverage center and salad bar also bar with beer on tap and tv screens for sport fans. I am extremely upset. We order the same pizza every single time. My partner picks it up, and they completely butcher our order (mind you, it should also be in our history of past orders). Having been to Mountain Mikes pizza several times over 30 years, this location was definitely the best experience I've ever had. The interior is modern, the bar is full of TVs and the beer list is an actual beer list of excellent beers. We ordered two pizzas and each were very well prepared. The best part was the bartender Fred who treated us to a regular dining experience. He seated our group, took our order, brought our drinks and overall was an A+ server which I didn't expect at a chain pizza place. However when i called this location I was met with Great customer service on the phone and when I picked up my pizza. & the pizza was delicious!! This has to be the best Mountain Mike's Pizza location and experience I have ever had. I really enjoy the happy hour specials here along with their delicious food. The wings are amazing and the pizza is so yummy. The bar is beautiful and has the best beer selection. I love that for me, it is on the way home from where I work which means frequent pop ins for dinner on my way home from a long work day. The employees are super nice here and I even had the chance to meet with the owner who is a family man and who is very nice. As if the corporate infatuation with mountains and the 8 pointed star logo symbolism isnt weird enough, I ordered a medium half and half specialty pizza on the 4th of July. One of the slices had a very strong and strange chemical taste. Resembling a household cleaning chemical. In 2019 I was poisoned with a caustic substance in a pizza. This is very reminiscent of that experience. Immediate sharp pains after ingestion, pain localized to different areas as it was undergoing digestion. Are the employees here incompetent with cleaning practices or are they malicious? I'll let you readers decide. And the next time something like this happens, I will certainly have my friends cousin scientifically analyze the slice in a lab. And if any employees or higher ups of Mountain Mikes are taking bribes to taint specific peoples pizza, or doing it on their own accord, mark my words, it will be discovered and exposed. Absolutely LOVED the location of this new Mountain Mikes! Hosted our end of season baseball party here and used their party room. Loved how spacious it was and it is enclosed off for privacy. Pizza was absolutely amazing and the salad bar was delish. Service was GREAT! They whipped out our orders extremely fast! Owners were extremely nice and welcoming.
