This beats all spicy chicken places I have ever been to. I am not sure if the place gets super packed because I usually order during not so peak hours or 1hour and 30 before closing. The only spicy chicken that has flavor and does not just taste like paprika like the others. The fries are sooo fire, I finish the fries in less than 5 minutes after opening. It's always spicier at them for whatever reason. Their meals may seem a little more on the expensive side for just some chicken, but they give you giant juicy tenders seasoned to perfection and a butt load of fries to compensate. I've never not been full after eating 3 tenders and their fries. My biggest recommendation is to get extra of the rooster sauce, it's some of the best sauce around here and we always devour it and then some. I've always seen this place on social media and past by them while driving along Highway 50 so I finally had the time to try them out today. They have their own dedicated parking lot which is nice and the inside of the building is spacious. I ordered their jungle fries which included 2 chopped chicken tenders on top of cheese fries with sauce. I asked if they could add pickles and the cashier didn't charge extra which was nice. It took a minute for the fries to be done but they were hot and fresh. I also enjoyed how they had honey packets for free which complimented the hot chicken well. My only gripe was the price. It was $17 pretax which is higher than other Nashville hot chicken places. Most places charge less than $15 so this was surprising. I also noticed their prices in general were higher than other places for similar menu items. I might come back because I enjoyed the flavor of the chicken as well as the complimenting honey but there are closer and cheaper places so I'm not in a rush. read more

Stopped at this location on our way home from Lake Tahoe around 3pm, The service at the order counter was friendly and helpful as this was our first time. It was quite slow when I came but I'm okay with that. Quick in and out since I got my food to go. Place has plenty to do while you wait for your food. TVs, shuffle board, foosball, basketball, a few connect four games and jenga from what I saw. I believe all the games were free as well. I would say 3 1/2 stars is probably more appropriate but I'm leaning a little more towards four stars than three and they don't do half stars. I've only ever ordered the spicy chicken strips over buttered rice with the coleslaw and the sauce and all that, I think it's a very unique take and very flavorful and tasty. I usually go to the one in El Dorado Hills but I decided to come here with my husband as we were in the area, he got the chicken sandwiches and thought they were amazing, mine is good but his apparently was excellent. I'm not big on chain restaurants but if you like fried chicken, you definitely gotta give them a try. It's not perfect but it's definitely steps above a fast food or diner type place. I can say I'm not particularly a fan of the special sauce that comes with the coleslaw, it feels a bit heavy to me and completely takes away from the flavor so just get that on the side, but I think next time I go in El Dorado Hills I'll probably try a chicken sandwich instead. And for like 20 bucks you can get two large chicken sandwiches? Talk about a great place for sharing food. I went here with my sister and I got the Mac-N-Roos with fries on the side. Normally the Mac-N-Roos has the fries mixed in but I wanted to save this for later so I got the fries on the side. I would rate the Mac-N-Roos a 10/10 however the ranch I would give a five because it was watered down. The other sauce that was given was really good so I just mixed it with the ranch. I really thought the Mac- N -Roos would be heavy to eat but it was really good with the sauce ratio, the portion size, and the chicken was cooked really well. The cashier woman was really nice and helpful when we asked her what she would recommend to someone coming here for the first time. She was very polite and let us know that I could get the fries on the side. It's nice having restaurants that are very accommodating! The restaurant is great for dine-in option. I also love hot chicken, but for one reason or another, I just never made it over here till today. When I walked in, the place was pretty much dead. At one point, I was the only customer in the place. Regardless, it has a pretty cool atmosphere. Basketball, connect seven, Jenga blocks, and blaring music. It definitely had a festive atmosphere. I ended up ordering the #2, which included a slide, a chicken tender on a piece of bread, and fries. The only thing that was annoying was that you had to order the drink seperately. Who eats hot chicken without ordering a drink?! So with the drink plus a tip, the total was $24.57. This is about on par with every other hot chicken place I've been to. The food came out pretty quick, which was expected, considering I was the only one there. The only thing that was kinda awkward was when they called my order. I was sitting near the basketball game when they called it. The lady called out my number and I came walking over. However, I guess I was supposed to go all the way over to the other side of the restaurant to pick up my food, which didn't seem right. The lady never explained this, plus she got a tip, plus there was nobody else there. Its not exactly like she was busy. Anyway, from where I was standing,I couldn't see that she placed my food on this table in front of her. Also, she said something else to me, which was kinda hard to hear with the music blaring. I walked a few more steps to hear her better, and saw my food waiting on this table for me downstairs. She was just staring at me with this annoyed look on her face. I had the same look on my face too. Anyway, the food was pretty good. It was hot and crispy, and the heat level was just right. I ordered medium heat, and it was neither bland nor stroke inducing. So overall, the food and the atmosphere was pretty good. However, it was kinda annoying and unnecessary for me to walk all the way over to the other side of the restaurant to go get my own food. I would have sat somewhere closer if I knew that was going to be the case, especially with a bad back and a sore Achilles tendon. Better communication and service would have made this five stars. We always get the bowls, and I always get the hottest one without having to sign the their paper . I do feel the spicy level has changed. I used to feel the spicy on my tongue but the last two times it didn't feel spicy, maybe even a "medium spice" and my husband does medium spice and it taste very low on the spice range. I seen an area where the front counter was with a menu, but there was nobody there a few minutes after somebody from where it said pick up area said they would assist me. Eventually, a young woman came to take my order. The menu is pretty simple and they have a few spice levels for everybody. I opted for the number one, which consisted of two sandwiches and fries. I also got the number two which consisted of two tenders and fries. I tried their mild medium and hot flavor. The place is very big inside and they have tons of seating. If you want cheese on your sandwich, they do charge one dollar. The total came to $43 and some change for two orders. Ouch. The food took about 20 minutes which I thought was a lot since the place was empty. The fries were average. I wish they were a bit crispy and had more seasoning. The pickles were really crunchy. The mild and medium flavors tasted almost identical. The hot actually has a nice kick to it. Other than the spice there wasn't really nothing that stuck out to me. It was just chicken. Tried Cosmic Rooster Chicken for the first time and really enjoyed it. I asked the employee what she recommended, and she was super sweet, patient, and helpful. We went with the #1 combo (two chicken sandwiches with coleslaw and fries) and the Mac and Roo's (two tenders, fries, and mac & cheese). Both were ordered mild, and the heat level was perfect--nice kick but nothing too intense. The chicken was crispy and flavorful, and everything came out fresh. They brought us ranch and their star sauce, and the star sauce was definitely the standout--lots of good flavor and definitely the balance needed with the heat & coleslaw. Everything from the bun, the slaw, chicken, fries had great flavor and consistency. The inside is also really cute and cozy, with games to play (foosball, connect 4, Jenga) while you wait, which made the experience even better. Amazing customer service! We visited on a Thursday evening. It wasn't busy at all. People trickled in throughout the night. I like that there was plenty of parking. I tried got the deal with 2 sliders and fries. I liked that you can order 2 different flavors. I tried the turn it in (mild) and my friend tried the medium. To me, it wasn't as flavorful. My sister got the lemon pepper one. I wouldn't recommend that one. It was a little too salty. For the price, the flavor wasn't amazing or special. I wished it was more flavorful. Went here after we were at a store in the area because we wanted a chicken sandwich and this had a lot of good reviews on yelp and I've seen them on Instagram. The restaurant itself was really cool and had a lot of seating and the painting and the graffiti inside made for a really fun atmosphere for sitting down. The staff who took our order were really nice and the food came out kind of slow for how unbusy they were, but not ridiculously slow just slower than I would've anticipated. My husband and I both got the chicken sliders on medium heat, which is right in the middle and got macaroni and cheese for my kids and fries. Everything was a 5/5! The sandwiches were delicious, the fries were cooked and seasoned perfect, my kids loved the macaroni and cheese, the sauce was delicious, and the coleslaw that came with the sandwich was one of the best I've ever had and I love chicken sandwiches and order them almost wherever I go if they're available! Since moving to Rancho, my husband and I have been wanting to try this place since we drive by it all the time getting into the freeway (you can't miss it!). Both my husband and I were shocked at how big the tenders are and both liked our tenders. However, we think the breading could be better since it was falling off on our chicken and we also think the fries could be more fried as well. I was also a bit upset since our to go boxes were labeled which was one Hot and which one was Mild but when I took a bite of my Mild tenders, turns out it was the Hot tenders so our boxes were labeled wrong.
