Don't waste your money and time for pizza buffet over here. Dinner buffet starts from 5 to 8. We got here at 6:30pm there was no pizza out at all. After one hour they brought a cheesy pizza and a pepperoni Pizza. There was about 20 people waiting for pizza to come out for their buffet. By the time I got to the table all pizzas were out and I didn't get anything. I've been told by the manager I have to wait an other 30 minutes for the next badge of pizza to come out which by that time pizza buffet would be over. I waited there for 1:30 hours to get a picture of crumbs of pizza. The manager was very rude and the staff were unhelpful. I will never ever go back there again and I will not recommend anyone to go here either. read more

I tried another Mountain Mikes many years ago and it was just okay. Mountain Mikes has apparently made significant changes with their pizza, most notably their sauce. It is now more like Round Table without the excessive salt. Mountain Mike's is my new favorite! read more

Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a pizza restaurant. The staff was non-existent, the beer was flat and the pizza was terrible. The crust was soggy and flavorless. This place is being run into the ground....I never thought I would miss Chevy's.... but it would be a vast improvement!!! The only bright spot was Steven. He is too good for this place!!! He cares too much...nobody seems to care here. Response to Owner: You obviously have missed the point. Check out your video... we scrapped off the toppings to eat as the crust was inedible. The beer was flat. Get over it. Your employees told us there was a problem with the CO2. We spent $50 and had a terrible time... where is your concern for us??? We finally checked out this place. We will never be back, lousy service, our order was forgotten about! Once my husband brought it to the girls attention she never apologized. I was waiting for 7-10 min when someone else walked in then some one immediately came. I was there first and he chose to help the other person before me then gave me an attitude for his mistake. GOLD RIVER is the BEST Mountain Mikes! I've eaten at about 6 around town, hands down this is the best! The pizza was loaded with toppings, couldn't see the cheese. I loved the salad bar, and it's open for dinner. Service is outstanding, instead of us asking for red pepper or ranch dressing, they asked us! No waiting to order. The place is spotless, which ranks high in my book. Looks like they offer a discount on Tuesday and Sunday for pizza. The bar reminds me of "cheers" atmosphere with the friendliness. read more

Wow! This is the nicest Mountain Mikes I have ever been to! Super modern, clean, upscale sports bar pizzeria feel. The bar area is nice with sliding French doors that open to the loungy patio area. The bar itself is white quartz countertops surrounded by 14 TVs! The main dining area is open and contemporary. The pizza was amazing -- like the mountain mikes pizza we all love! read more

I keep trying, every six months or so, because my clan really likes their pizza. But it's infuriating: so don't do it. I'm trying to support local businesses with our occasional take out. But our kids are bickering and hungry, and dad should have gotten home with the pizza over half an hour ago, but he's still waiting there. After a long day at work I decided to treat my kiddos to pizza. Im the only customer there when I order. I ordered wings,pizza and soft drinks. After a loooong wait , The employee finally brings out my pizza. (Without a mask) and asks me if he can get us anything else. I said "Just our hot wings please" and he looks at me like I'm stupid, He said well they'll be awhile. I said ok about how long do you think? And he starts wigging out on me in front of my kids. I said ok well if it's going to be much longer I'll have to just get a refund because I've got somewhere to be. He informs me that I have an attitude along with a lot of other things. He walks off while I start telling him he's very unprofessional and I'd just like to be treated right. I asked for his name 3 times and he ignored me, went into the kitchen, came back out to freak out on me some more. Tells me "My name?! It's Robby! And I'm the owner lol" I replied, I don't care that you're the owner. I just care about being treated right. Then he says " lol you don't Even know who I really am" In a threatening and aggressive manor". I replied I don't fn care who you are . I just want my money back for the wings I didn't get.. and I'd like a pizza box to go now. He says "there right there! Go get one your fu*kin self. Im not talking to you!" So I grab a box. Put my pizza in it and walk to the register. I hear him laughing, mocking me and making sounds like hes coughing and hawking a louggee on something. He's telling all of the employees and is laughing. Then he literally brings the wings out and sets it next to my pizza I packed up! I I grab the wings So of course but obviously I wasn't comfortable taking the wings after what transpired. I tell the nice guy working the register That I would like my money back for the wings and I handed over the wings. He said I'm sorry it was there something wrong with it. And I said I Annesely want it a refund because I didn't have the time to wait forever. But now I don't feel comfortable eating them at all. He said oh no I'm sorry I was very polite. Then Robbie Murcia (the owner) Pushes them out of the way and proceeds to tell him not to give me a refund! I said I just want my money back for the wings he said nope you're not getting shit and smirked. He Just about laughed smiled and told the obvious regular customers that started to come in. I told him that's fine I'll just call the cops. So I called the nonemergency line they offered to send to the officers out But I declined and said that I will handle it through my bank. Because mind you he wouldn't give me a copy of my receipt so I took my receipt that was on the counter that was the original signed copy. He put his backpack and everything on as soon as I mention the cops and acted like he was gonna leave and for some reason decided to take it all off and stay and talk to all the customers about what was going on. Then he went to the bar area still with no mascon and start serving drinks and relating this drama he created. There is an elderly couple he was talking to and my daughters went to the restroom and they were giving my daughters horrible luxe. As I was leaving I was still recording just to prove that I did not take the stupid wings that he spit all over and he starts waving at me smh. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. How could somebody that was responsible for a somewhat dying restaurant be so unprofessional, disrespectful, Extremely irrational as if on some thing And more all because I asked for a refund when he told me I had attitude because I asked about my wings that they clearly forgot about. A simple hey let me check I'll be done shortly and I'll bring them out sorry about that I mean anything would've been better than what I got and how I was treated. The sad part is you could tell even though the employees were laughing around at least half of them already knew how crazy and either testicle he was you could see it by the look on their faces. Lastly it was ridiculous he had most of the lights off when I walked in because it was just me or there is no other customers but once customer started coming in a little here and there he finally decided to turn the lights on lol Thanks for the tough guy experience.. good luck. I understand why the business is dead for the most part. No pizza and wings is worth $65 when you're being treated like garbage . My family and I were very impressed with everything this place had to offer. People think all Mountain Mikes are the same. No! This place is extremely clean, laid out well,excellent service, amazing quality food, an amazing bar and our favorite, the banquet room. We have a large family and look for a place we can all go that has good food and is closed off from others so we can walk around and talk to each other. This place has the best party room we have seen. We left the round table we have been using the past 4 years in Rocklin. This will be our new family meeting place. Lastly I will mention it's a great place to grab a beer and catch a game on one of their many amazing TVs. I haven't tried their lunch buffet yet but my coworkers say it's awesome!! read more

I was shocked how bad the pizza was. I ordered their signature pepperoni I figured that should be good! Pizza crust was dry and spongy. I think they forgot the sauce. Pepperoni's were literally dried out. I was looking for a little grease on them. And two medium pizza's to go cost $45, WOW! I really appreciate the clean and sleek atmosphere, great selection at the salad bar and extensive beer menu, but I wouldn't recommend coming here with a group for the lunch buffet. I tried this location at least 5 times and I always leave disappointed. They only put out one pizza at a time for the entire dinning room during lunch. The pizza selection was poor as well, they often limit themselves to either pepperoni or Hawaiian. When you request a different selection they don't provide it - what about vegetarian? Nope, won't do it. If you are picking up a pizza to go, this place shouldn't be a problem. We used to go to Round Table Pizza (love their sauce), but their pizzas are poorly made for the 'high-end' price. I expect fresh ingredients, good levels of sauce, cheese and other topping for the premium price. This Mountain Mike's doesn't disappoint. Took off one star as their Mountain Size pizza wasn't quite as good as a Large or smaller. Still, a great pizza at a fair price (when coupons applied). Called back another day to use the credit and was made to feel like I was trying to get one over on them. Customer service/owner was rude. Completed my order after 15 min of getting the run around, again no ranch. We gave it one more try and again the order was messed up. I give up. Bar staff are really friendly and fast on getting your order from the bar even when they are busy. They have a a few TV's at the bar in which they air sports like baseball, soccer, and hockey.
