To their credit, they offered to send the driver back with a different dressing, but I was over it by this point, and I didn't want to deal with the rude driver again. Why they didn't call to inform me of their lacking dressing selection prior to sending the order out is beyond me. Seems like a relatively simple solution to avoid any potential frustration. After 1 and 1/2 hours, we still haven't seen our pizzas!!!!!! I called, they said, "oh, they just left! should be there in a minute". Seemed reasonable since we live 2 minutes away. Twenty minutes later, still no sign of our pizza. I called again, they said it was on the way and just hung up on me! Needless to say I cancelled the order. I have probably been to about 6 different locations and this one is the worst. I only go for the pepperoni, which they promise 100 pieces and this one had about 70. The sauce, which I actually don't care for, seems watered down and where's the cheese? Also, throw in the burnt crust and you have a below average pizza. I attempted to call in an order here, was put on hold, and while waiting, instead of getting back to me, they just hung up on me without talking to me. I decided to give them a second chance thinking they may be busy and it was mistake so I just decided to order online. I was able to place the order, got confirmation etc. We waiting until 10 minutes after the delivery time on the confirmation to follow up since the food had not arrived yet. The person I spoke to told me the pizza was on the way. 15 minutes later (we live 2 minutes from the location) the pizza was still not here. I called again and the person I spoke to said he told me it would be longer than an hour, I informed him no one had spoken with me at all. He didn't have an answer for that, and as I was waiting for an explanation the driver finally arrived. I brought the pizza in and it was so cold I had to microwave the pizza to bring it up to being warm enough to even eat. When I tried to call to inform the manager of this no one answered the phone. It is unfortunate that I feel I have to write this, because I really love Mountain Mike's Pizza, but the running of this franchise is clearly not up to the par of Mountain Mikes. read more

Just ordered pizza for my little 6-8yr old football team play an away game in Martinez. Spoke to Harry on the phone and he was genuinely a really nice person. I had a budget, he asked me what I was trying to do and he gave me such a great deal. Harry is amazing! After reading the reviews here about Harry, I decided to give this place a try. Harry is exactly what everyone is raving about. He offered to take my order at 10:30pm for next day 11am delivery to the local HIgh School, but if I wanted to call in the AM tomorrow, he was going to let his employee know to offer the same deal to me. I was hesitant at first since the salad bar was deconstructed but after talking with the owner (who took our order) I was told he was hit with a rush of customers and was dead afterwards so he figured he'd close the salad bar down, totally get it and I was pleasantly surprised when he asked me if it would be okay if he made mine & my husbands salads in the back. Let me tell ya, he made a killer salad and was so so friendly! The pizza was delicious, and we can officially say we tried the gluten free crust there as well. Highly recommend it! The store was clean and it was a great experience. The only negative I would say is I was pretty turned off at the soda lids just sitting in a container all messed up. We dined in here just a few days ago. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and a salad to share for just the two of us. The lettuce for the salad was noticeably brown and soggy, it was disgusting! The pizza was alright, it was nothing to rave about. The service wasn't very good, either. Ordered a pizza for pickup. The girl behind the counter was pretty nice. I had a tickle in my throat when I walked in and she offered me a cup for water. There was a coupon for large one topping pizza and they usually always have a coupon going on so check before you order. They were timely and had our pizza done in the 15 minutes from when I called so I appreciated that. They didn't really go above and beyond but I mean it's pizza so I don't expo an over the top experience. Just friendly and timely which we got. I have never like MM pizza. Had it at this location when they were pretty new and I remember not being a fan and I never returned. Since then I've only had it at work for potlucks provided by someone else with their wallet open! Still, wasn't impressed at all! So I was asked to help a friend out and order food for her son while she's away and when I heard this was his favorite pizza place I about had a fit! So I call ahead of time and the man on the phone was nice and helpful and said 20 mins. I walk in and it was like I had never been there before. Flat screen TV. Nice and clean seating areas. A customer was changing TV channels which I thought was cool. The man who helped me actually greeted me and was very friendly and accommodating. Oh, and the pepperoni pizza was great! Yep I stole a few from the kid! Lol With a coupon printed online a large 1 topping was $13.99. Small order (same size as a small pizza) of garlic cheese bread, total $20. I come here every few weeks. Mostly get take-out, since dining area is small and at times not very well-kept. Not a place to go out with your lady or with the kids. However..... ...The pizza is pretty darn good. The service is good, they almost always get my special orders right (compared to Round Table, which screws up my order every time), the sauce and toppings are good, the crust is a bit heavy but tasty. Not gourmet stuff, but one of the better places for delivery or take-out. I sincerely hope they are renovating. Went in last night, boyfriend and I almost drive by without stopping because there was no light coming from inside. The only light we saw was the little neon open sign that promised they were indeed open. We go in and I notice there are currently NO LIGHTS above the ordering counter. Beyond that, we noticed a lot of Sheetrock and ceiling panels missing behind the counter. A man FINALLY came out and helped us, no name tag with a light blue button down shirt. Manager? Not sure... No name tag. There are no signs indicating a remodel, so it looks like the place is being slowly shut down and happens to still have the oven plugged in. We found the pizza to be just okay. the service was good and quick, but for the price there are far better joints in the area. Upon arrival, the pizza was doughy and inedible. It tasted straight up like raw flour. I asked nicely to see if they could deliver a new one, and after some back and forth of putting me on hold and talking to someone else (non-manager), they told me I would have to pay $10 for a new pizza because a quarter of it was bit into. BIT INTO! How do you know it's bad if it's untouched??? They said to call back in 10 mins to talk to the manager. I called in 20, he still wasn't in. I ordered a pizza for takeout and some buffalo wings and was told it'd be 15 minutes or so. I left and went back to pick it up but when I got there no one knew what had happened to my pizza. They said they either forgot about the order so someone else took it!! so I had to wait again for them to do it. This place is terrible. The whole place is disgusting it has a very foul pungent smell, and the whole place is gross. The workers are dirty and don't wash them selves before taking out the trash or anything. I have seen them several times eating themselves, picking up trash and stuff off the ground, touching brooms etc and then without washing return to the food. The health department needs to stop by this place we can't as a community be put at risk because of their disgusting ways of handling our food. Another thing is the workers here. Last time I was there the workers were arguing in the back and not paying attention to the line of customers. They walk out with angry looks and do not treat you with respect. It really caught me off guard the way some of these youngsters act towards adults or anyone in that matter. It doesn't stop there however, the adults in the shop the few times I have been have always too had this look on their face almost trying to test the costumer. The worst part about it is how over priced this place is for trash quality. Definitely go to round table or dominos or even a local pizza shop before ever going to this place.
