Passed this place on the way to somewhere else and was interested in trying it. It was very clean and the employee was welcoming and when he found out it was our first time he made some recommendations. I like a simple pizza - cheese & ham (or can bacon) and my husband has to have a gluten free crust which they offer. We also got their wings the honey garlic if i remember correctly and then i got the garlic knots. The wings were FANTASTIC but incredibly tiny. Like you can tell these chickens are organic non-gmo cuz they were teeeeny wings. My husband was shocked to pay what we did for such tiny wings. I was not impressed by the pizza myself and didnt get much ham on it (it was a personal size so thats probably why). My husband thought his crust and toppings were good. The biggest disappointment were the garlic knots. I expected buttery salty hot garlic knots that are dripping with calories. Unfortunately they were very dry with hardly any flavor. I had to take them home and dump garlic salt and melted butter all over them and it was like a totally different bread. Overall theres room for improvement but i would still recommend them! 1 - Your pizzas are great. Breads not soggy, toppings are fresh and the wings were fantastic. It's nice to find a spot where you don't HAVE to ask for the pie to be cooked all the way through. We were looking for a new pizza place because ours is temporarily closed. We gave Mountain Mike's pizza a try based on the reviews. We went with the large pepperoni. Unfortunately, this place was just not for us. The dough was a bit too thick and came off as doughy. Now, normally, I am a thick, crust pizza person, but this wasn't it for me. The food was mid. We ordered a luau pizza it was mostly barbecue. We ordered wings and their fire sticks. Wings were okay. The fire sticks were unpleasant. I could not eat them after the first bite. I went to the cashier and asked him if I could replace them for just the regular mozzarella sticks instead and he just had an attitude and took them and said yes. We were already done with our meal and we still waited about 45 minutes for the new order of mozzarella sticks and they never came out. My husband and I ended up just leaving and did not get a refund or the new order of mozzarella sticks. Terrible service because the guy just watched us leave and didn't even say a word. I've visited the Fountain Valley and Brea locations a handful of times, but having this one close by is awesome. Stopped in on Super Bowl Sunday to grab some food for the family and I and I'm glad we rolled the dice and went with our local pizza shop ( Mountain Mikes ). It's only three of us so didn't order much but it definitely got the job done. We ordered 12 piece bone in Stinging honey garlic and a class pepperoni ( small , 10 slices ) The wings were coated generously in the sauce which was very good. So good I started dipping my pizza in the wing sauce. The pizza itself had a good crunch to it. The pepperoni were small cup sizes which I don't have too often so that was a good game changer for me. Overall, I'm glad we tried mikes. Definitely our new go to pizza spot. The chain pizza restaurants in Norwalk get boring. Glad there's a new sheriff in town. Also, it took roughly 30 min but what do you expect , I came on Super Bowl Sunday right at kickoff. But it does help with the 4 giant TVs. Perfect place to watch the games and have some food! I placed my order online and arrived a few minutes late only to be told I had to wait another 30 minutes, I was told my order was at the end of the line and they were very busy. A few customers before me had already had been waiting 2 hours. I heard about this place when I was in Encinitas and unfortunately I was unable to try the place out. I came by after work to try this place out. I got their plain wings, garlic knots and their pepperoni pizza. The wings were crispy and were bite size. The pepperoni pizza reminds me of the style of Round Table with their thick crust pizza. I was just underwhelmed by the Garlic Knots, they were sweet and didn't have much of a garlic taste. Other than that the workers there were nice and our food came quick, hot and fresh. This was a last minute order, on New Year's night 5:30 PM (it was probably my fault, but unknown to me). $40 PER PIE WAS A LITTLE BIT EXTREME. I would've not minded if the pizza was good (sub-par to say the least) but the pizza was too thick, doughy and seemed not probably cooked through.... Along with that, we ordered a "family salad".... (Another excruciating disappointment). If I would've known that someone was gonna just slice up a head of iceberg lettuce into four 1/4's; dump it into a large bowl and doused it with chunks of broccoli and half-inch thick pieces of cucumbers?
