My family & I were there last night to celebrate my nephew's third birthday for a few hours and we were so pleased and grateful for the outstanding customer service we had, start to finish. Many thank you's to the staff for their upbeat, friendly and hard-working personalities! 3 hours filled with a lot of pizza, beer, cake and smiles. We didn't have to stress about cooking or cleaning, so this last-minute decision was the perfect choice. They reserved the back section for us and the noise level was low. I really want to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but after dining here about a dozen times - all for the lunch buffet - I have to say it's really just meh. I can't say anything about made to order pizzas, but here's my take on the lunch buffet. My main complaint: In all the visits we've made, i've yet to see them bring out a fresh pizza during the lunch hour. I don't know how long the various pies have been there - we usually arrive around 11:45 or so, but in the 30 minutes or so that we stay for lunch, I can't think of once occasion that they've brought out a fresh pizza. No Bueno. And furthermore, about the pizzas they have on display for the buffet - there's a pepperoni, a multi-meat bonanza, and a couple that I can't tell you what's on them! That's kind of a problem for me, being a self-proclaimed pizza aficionado, Brooklyn born. Team Mountain Mikes: Try this for a change. Cheese. Yes, plain cheese pizzas. There is no shame in cheese pizza. Everywhere east of the Hudson river that's the ONLY way most people eat pizza. Would it kill you to just put a cheese pizza out in the buffet once in a while? Ever? The salad bar is serviceable, fresh greens and canned veggies, although a lo-cal dressing would also be welcomed there. Came for a birthday party with family and friends (not a good choice if you want friendly service). Personally won't come back especially since there are plenty of other pizza places to choose from in this town. Cashier (Sunny) is too busy talking on his cell phone to acknowledge customers and when he finally does he's annoyed that you're interrupting his call. Salad bar not maintained, little to nothing available. Napkin dispensers were all empty on the three tables we were at. Drinks are watered down and need the syrups replaced. read more

Our favorite pizza in the area. So much flavor... thick crust, savory sausage, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. There are usually coupons in the mail for a few bucks off a medium or large pizza. We usually do takeout but the restaurant is about what you'd expect: booths, TVs with various sports on, a not-so-impressive salad bar. The staff are helpful but it's mostly an order-at-the-counter, come grab what you need kind of place. read more

I work in Matin and live in Sonoma county so I've dine with family and friends and coworkers at several locations. Today we tried the gluten-free specialty pizza, it was really good! I can't believe that some people complain about deliveries knowing that it can take some times 20 to 30 minutes to just go to exit on the freeway I know I drive it every single weekday! We ordered a mountain pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple around 7pm for delivery. When it arrived we didn't take a look right away because we were busy watching a basketball game. We ended up going to eat the pizza around 5 minutes later and the pizza was covered in mushrooms instead of pineapple. We called the location and at first they only wanted to offer a 15% off coupon (which wouldn't even cover 3 toppings on a new pizza) when we wanted the pizza remade correctly and redelivered. We know the pizza was made incorrectly because we got the tag that said the correct toppings with the delivery. After some back and forth and asking to speak with the manager, at around 8pm they said they would remake it and drop it off. At 9:15 with no new pizza, we called back to make sure our order was on its way. We talked to the SAME manager and it took him some time to remember what we had talked about. Then he tried to tell us that we needed to pay a new delivery fee in order to receive the pizza. After explaining that it had been over 2 hours since this disastrous adventure started and that we wouldn't be paying another delivery fee for their mistake we got our pizza. It was ice cold. On top of that the person who delivered the replacement pizza tried to demand that we return the original WRONG pizza which we had already thrown out (we can't stand mushrooms and my pregnant friend couldn't stand the smell). i went to mountain mike's for the pizza/salad lunch deal. i was an hour late and i asked if there was any pizza left over from the lunch deal and the 2 (indian or middle eastern?) guys that worked there, said that they would make me a fresh pizza and they gave me the lunch deal! i was able to choose 3 toppings (mushrooms, bell pepper, tomato), and the big guy gave me an extra topping of onion. that was so nice of him and i didnt even ask for it. those 2 guys really know how to treat their customers well and i will definitely be going there more often. the salad bar was very fresh even so late in the day. and lest i forget - the pizza was awesome the crust was a light delicately crisp texture - not soggy. and the 4 toppings were thick and delicious! i am getting hungry even now just thinking about it. there is lots of room to sit and 3 big screen tvs on the walls. it was peaceful for eating - not noisy and crazy like at round table and i really appreciated that! thank you, mountain mike's, for amazing food and service! read more

Placing my order by phone because I was doing half/half. I questioned that he got the order correctly because when repeated he got it wrong, I slowly repeated the order and was told 1/2 hour to pick up. This is the only place that I thought made a decent gluten free pizza however their service is terrible and not worth the trouble. Every time I order it takes over an hour. Service was terrible. The kid behind the counter was constantly glued to his phone. Food took a LONG time to come out, and it wasn't busy at all. I had to go up to the counter to 3 times to get all the items for our order and that's after leaving a tip since I thought they'd bring the items out to the table. Lastly, the pizza was good. He didn't seem to get the words I was saying clearly over and over. Each time as a response to him trying to unload that pizza on me - for money. Then he mumbled something. He was trying to force me to PAY him for the pizza that he appeared to be carrying! I told him I waited the night before, for a long time and nothing, nobody came to MY door. And NO. I Would Not pay ANYTHING, as again, I had NO CASH & made that very clear over the phone that morning. And again - he seemed to not get that I had no cash. I was sick of the nonsense and outright insulting treatment- the guy I'd spoken to that morning, saying that if they took my debit info for payment again, how would they know that I wouldn't call the bank and have them reverse the charge again?? That is SO insulting! And I NEVER SAW, HEARD, SMELLED ANYTHING having to do with pizza that night. The number of hangup calls from them could easily be called Harassment. They left NO message. Then another number associated with them did the same thing. I did try to answer it twice, but silence. Then the first number called many more times, again leaving no message. And, to try to force me to BUY IT, at an inconvenient time, no less, .. .to BUY IT when I CLEARLY kept saying I had NO CASH, - there's something HORRIBLY wrong with this picture! I live about four blocks away from this location. Ordered a pepperoni pizza at 6:54 p.m.. It is now 8:21 p.m., and the pizza hasn't arrived. At 7:55 I phoned the store to ask for the status and was told that it was out for delivery. That's great, but it means that my pizza will have been riding around in the dude's car for half an hour before it's delivered four blocks? Unless he has a warming oven in the back seat, I'm expecting to be disappointed. Edit: Called back at 8:35, and was told that the reason the delivery takes so long is that the drivers take "ten orders" on each trip. At a fast estimate of 5 min per delivery, that means the last customer is waiting 50 mins from when his pie leaves the store (after an hour to make it). And they add $3.50 to each delivery. So for that hour of delivery time, MM makes $35, pays the driver dude $15 (and that poor dude gets stiffed on tips b/c the customer is ir8), and someone gets his pizza two hours after he ordered. Not a great model. Whatever manager thought this was a good idea needs to be replaced. read more

My first time here. Pizza it's great, I ordered chicken wings, They were too salty But they gave me my money back. I went to the bar and asked for a Stella beer. They had ran out of that beer then I asked for modelo. I noticed the taste was funny and I went to double check, I found out they served me 805 or something cheap beer. Today is Sunday around 4 pm. They have some happy hour or something. Unfortunately I brought my 5 year old and the place is too noisy with lots of drunk guys coursing. I guess this is a good day and time to get drunk. Even the bartender looks drunk. Basically I came at the wrong day and time to bring my kid. This place didn't pass my expectations as a family oriented pizza place. read more

One star is likely too generous... This was our first Mountain Mike experience, upon entering the restaurant there was no host/hostess so we were on our own to figure it out. Turns out the ordering area is in the far rear of the facility. The main dining area was a mess, food on the floor, tables not bussed; so we opted to eat in the bar, much cleaner but the seats they bought are the most uncomfortable they could have selected. Then the wait and the wait and some more of the wait for the pizza. The bartender eventually checked, apologized, and told us it was on the way. We waited some more... Finally, after 40 minutes from entering the establishment our pizza arrived. Soggy pizza dough, tasteless sauce, minimal amount of pepperoni & sausage; I think you probably see where I'm headed...terrible dining experience from beginning to end. Oh, and don't let me forget to mention the waitress was eating her meal from Panda Express, I was envious! Avoid this place, uninviting, lousy atmosphere, tasteless food and certainly not worth the price. read more

I ordered pickup on line. At the appropriate time I went to pick up my order. Everything was ready but they'd forgotten the sauce for the buffalo wings. I caught that before leaving so no issue. At work I opened my boneless buffalo wings only to discover bone in wings. Oh well, they should taste the same but be a bit messier to eat. If only that were the case. The first "wing" was a drumstick that looked significantly bigger than your average wing drumstick. It didn't feel that much heavier however. After the first bite I knew why: it was excessively fatty. I tried a flat, how much fat could be on one of those? Answer: too much. I've never had buffalo wings that were in such a need of fat trimming and a pre-temp cook fat cook off. I wouldn't bother with these in the future. I wonder if the boneless wings I'd ordered would've been any better. I'd ordered a 1/2 and 1/2 pizza with extra sauce (I was informed by my coworkers that you need to order pizzas from this chain that way). The toppings on my custom half seemed rather skimpy compared to the other half. However it was tasty. The other half was one of their pre-named pizzas - the Everest. I was impressed with that half. On both halves the bottom crust was firm and not soggy and the extra sauce did a nice tang to cut some of the fat from the meats. The toppings were cut to a nice size (aside from the pepperoncinis) and had very good flavor. Overall I was very less than impressed with the wings, the custom 1/2 on the pizza was good but not as expected. The 1/2 that was one of their namesakes was excellent (if I'd only had a full Everest this would be a 4 star review). I'd go back again but would stick to a named pizza, and double check everything before leaving the store. read more

OMG. We ordered a pizza over an hour and a half ago. We are 10 mintues away!!! We called and they said we should get it in 30 minutes. So the pizza has been joy riding around with the delivery guy? Come to find out the person who took the order got the address and the telephone number wrong. We've ordered trom them before.
