Solid pizza restaurant located near a 7-Eleven if you want to grab a container of Coca Cola to go with your pizza. The Devil's Dare with pepperoni is my go-to order. Their pizza crust is really well done - tasty, crispy, and fluffy in all the right places. We typically order for pick-up, but we have eaten in-house a couple times. There's nothing special inside, but also nothing to complain about -- just a typical neighborhood pizza feel that has everything you'd expect. Nice cozy place for a simple pizza dinner. We live nearby, so eating in doesn't really make sense. That being said, the staff here tend to remember you if you come in often! Pricing has increased compared to other pizza locations nearby, but I appreciate supporting the owners who do a great job of making pizza. FYI we've also tried Red Boy in San Anselmo and prefer the Fairfax location, even when ordering the same pizza -- and I believe it's because the locations are separately owned. read more

This must be the most un-Marin pizza joint in Marin. Marin County, you figure it's either got beautiful decorations, exotic toppings on the gluten-free crust and organic tomato sauce, and $25 for a small pizza; or Grateful Dead posters, the smell of Maui-Waui in the air, and vegetarian pizza served by a leftover hippie (the second choice is more likely in Fairfax). Not Red Boy. Here, it's a humble storefront a half mile west of the center of town, with sports on the TV and tables that you can make into a group setting for the baseball team. With normal prices. The driveway from Sir Francis Drake is so steep you can scrape the bumper. We ate at Red Boy on the way back from Point Reyes. I found it to be on par with the typical Round Table Pizza: strong meat taste, slightly burned, hot, and very salty. The dude working there was attentive, asking every few minutes if everything was okay (I told you it was five minutes ago, man!), and even doing a refill on my Sprite even though it wasn't even half finished. You can choose one of their combinations, or choose a combination or cheese only and then add the toppings of your choice for either $1.65/each or $2.35 each. Nice option. Overall, Red Boy Pizza is not a place to go out of your way for, but it's a reasonable option. A refreshingly normal eat-out option in pretentious Marin County. read more

This is the only pizza place that delivers to me, but even that shouldn't earn it one star. They often leave things out of orders, are habitually late delivering pizza so it's often cold, and won't give any refunds. The pizza itself is mediocre at very best. I like to give small local places a chance before giving them a negative review but I've been ordering pizza gear for nearly 2 years now, so this isn't an isolated experience. Tonight my pizza took nearly 2 hours to be delivered, and 40 minutes of that time was after it was cooked, so of course it arrived cold. It was also missing an ingredient which they only told me they were out of after the pizza had been cooked - so I didn't even get a chance to substitute something; and they wouldn't give me a refund. I'd rather make my own pizza every time than give this place any more business. Stay away. read more

Very poor service. I placed an Uber eats order here, and showed up at the pick up time. The manager seemed surprised to see me, and told me the pizza would be another 20 minutes or so. It was clear they had not even started on the order. I asked him to cancel and I left. An hour and 20 minutes later I get notification from Uber eats that my order was ready. They had not canceled the order. And when I try to do so by the app, it would not let me. I can't say anything about how the pizza tastes, but based on the service in general management, I do not predict good things. I won't be coming back here. read more

we have been enjoying the Chicken Sandwiches But there must be different cooks or people preparing the food because this past Sunday 6/16 our sandwiches were actually terrible. The bread was soggy and not toasted and inside was a wad of melted cheese with a smear of pesto on top and very little else. I threw them out as they did not get eaten. This was pretty disappointing. So evidently you cant depend on getting the same quality every time. Buyer Beware and we will cautiously order the Chicken Sandwich again or maybe not at all. Delivery people are 5 stars and very nice and find hard to locate places. The Bruschetta leaks all over the place and does not have a sealed container. If you don't eat right away the liquid seeps into the bag and you have a real mess----tastes great though--but how about a leak proof container? 2nd try with the chicken sandwich still had soggy bread. Red Boy is my once a week treat. The first two times I ordered were really great--but they were on Friday night. Sunday looks like a not so great day to order. read more

What a lovely place. I just ordered pizza from there for the first time. A friendly delivery person arrived shortly after a friendly lady on the phone took my order. When I opened my order, I noticed one of my ranch was missing, but it wasn't a big deal so I didn't bother calling, because, lets face it, a small missing item isn't really a big deal in a world where pizza can arrive at my doorstep with a simple phone call. 10 min later, my doorbell rang, and the delivery person was back!!! with a tiny cup or ranch. You've heard it before, but killer special with a "slice" (actually 2 slices) and a beer. Beers are not a full pint, more like 12 ounces, but with 2 IPA selections from local staple Lagunitas brewery, as well as Modelo Especial, and Fat Tire. All solid beer choices. Slices are design your own with 2 toppings, so your creativity is your only limitation. Super friendly and helpful staff - made me feel right at home in the shop, and had that true community Fairfax feel. Now that I live just down the road, I'll be shading their doorway plenty! read more

I live practically across the street and would order the slice and a drink combo 2 to 3 times a week due to not having much access to food near me. I enjoyed it for 6 years. Spent thousands of dollars there. They started to undercook the pizza so my dough was raw at the crust. I started to ask them to make it extra crispy to fix it. It worked until the new owners came to take over. They undercooked my pizza 3 times even when I said extra crispy. I ended up opening my pizza box and showing the owner that it was raw right when she game it too me. I said I want a cooked pizza and too take the pizza back. She explained that that how they cook pizza and I was wrong. I ended up telling her I was a regular here and she's pushing away a customer and she told me she's glad and she doesn't care. Didn't go back for 2 years. Told everyone I know what they did. I don't like to recommend shitty food to great people. I go back to get a sandwich recently and I didn't eat half as hungry as I was. This review rating is based solely on customer service. I have celiac disease - which obviously limits my pizza options. My last gluten free pie at Pizzalina would've lost a contest to a frozen Mama Celeste's. I called Ghiringhelli but despite having a GF crust, they said if you're celiac, they recommend against eating there due to the high concentration of flour everywhere. So, I called Red Boy and asked them if their GF pizza was safe for someone with celiac's. I was connected with store manager, Joseph, who said he'd clean out a part of the oven and be sure my pizza was made with as little cross contamination as possible. When I arrived to pick it up, he told me he'd even opened the pizza box in another room to avoid any flour. I ate the pie and had absolutely no gluten reaction! I've probably ordered pizza from Red Boy 20 times in the last three years. And they blow it more often than not, but they're the only delivery game in my area. But after tonight I'm done. How many pizza delivery places have drivers that regularly and consistently forget the two most essential pizza / italian condiments on the planet (crushed red pepper and parmesan cheese)? Red Boy on SFD does! Almost every time! But tonight I was careful. I was specific. I knew in advance they had a HORRIBLE success rate at actually remembering these items. So I specifically ordered them ! What's more, I actually made sure when the girl that took my order read it back to me that she included CRUSHED RED PEPPER and PARMESAN CHEESE in my order. Then, when the driver arrived at my house he says "sorry. no one told me". I said "You're a freaking pizza delivery driver! Why don't you just carry this stuff in your car?" "I got cleaned out he tells me. Yesterday. Haven't had time to restock." Restock? Seriously? Are you kidding me? Worse, I'd already given this totally incompetent pizza delivery driver a $5 tip. So here's a tip Red Boy management. Hire people that give a damn. It isn't that hard to have condiments people commonly use to help us choke down your decidedly average pizza on hand at the store, in the car, in every bag. PS: I'm out of the area tonight. Although most menu options may be overpriced, the do have a special for $5 that includes a HUGE "slice" with 2 toppings and a soda. I came here with some friends who are regulars and they said the slice was big, but when they brought out the food, I saw that it's actually served as two heaping slices! (I guess because it would be ridiculous to serve a slice that wide.) If I had eaten lunch that day, I could have definitely split the $5 combo with someone and been satisfied. Also, I didn't realize until half-way through my meal that they will give you beer, instead of soda, for $1 more. As for the pizza itself, it was deliciously melty with generous toppings, so many that you I couldn't even see my cheese beneath all of the mushrooms and olives I chose! No matter how good the pizza was, I absolutely adored the spongy crust, with toasted edges. Also, our server was super nice and laughed at our cheesy jokes. (Pun not intended....) AWESOME PIZZA! Located at the edge of town of Fairfax. My boys and had just finished a round of golf and were looking for a good place to eat and we happened to be lucky enough to find Red Boy Pizza. The interesting thing is that against all the other protest in the car, the driver insisted that we try this place(3 to 1). We were AMAZINGLY surprised by not only the great pizza, draft beer( that's all golf men needed to be satisfied!) and most of all, the great hospitality by Rene and the rest of the staff. We ordered a medium size take out pizza on February 17, 2019 and when it was opened back home we realized that there was a solid 2" boarder around the crust without any toping and meat. Be careful to check your order before you leave because you just might discover that your pizza is not exactly filled with the toppings you ordered. That's not the way to repay customer loyalilty by putting less toppings on the pizza; it is good for your bottom lline but not for filling up the family. We will bring this matter to attention of the front desk when we re-order and hopefully our next pizza will not be short with toppings. And I provided them with a cash tip when I left. read more

Pretty good pizza tho. They used to deliver to my old place in the San Geronimo Valley but now I'm in Woodacre (up a hill but just about as close time wise) they don't deliver here. Oh well.
