Holy smokes, we order pizza at this lovely establishment just about every week. Virtually the same order: snowy alps veggie pizza, as our household is predominately VEGETARIAN! Usually we order online, but somehow something always goes wrong so I decided to take matters into my own hands and just go ahead and order over the phone, SNOWY ALPS VEGGIE; I have a touch of a cold and the kids were screaming so perhaps something got lost in translation, anyway as per usual I received my pizza order, very rapidly so air five for timeliness, and as soon as I opened the pizza box low and behold it was the snowy alps combo; which means it's covered in meat. Get this, it happens every time. EVERY SINGLE TIME, it's super cool you can order online because we actually have photographic proof of all our orders that say SNOWY ALPS VEGGIE. At first we didn't want to complain so we just picked the meat off, or ate the other items we ordered instead, but it keeps happening, and as one of the only pizza places in this small town, when your kids request pizza you kind of have to cave in and place an order and just pray that just once you won't have to deal with a rude pizza clerk. The last time this happened a gentleman named Tony helped remedy this situation, but after I got off the phone with Christine today, who I believe I placed my SNOWY ALPS VEGGIE order with, who told me we could drive and exchange our messed up pizza with the right one(we ordered delivery for a reason) and rattled on about how people have to specify which one we order WHICH WE DID, we called back and talked to the very Charming Tony again, who told us, right before he hung up, "I think you're going to just stop doing business with us" uhhhhhh okay. First time of ever order With Mt Mike's pizza for delivery the lady who pick up the phone was very friendly I really liked her hospitality she was right up front with how long the wait was going to be an hour and a half for delivery which I live 2 miles away from the pizza place and the reason was because of drivers are back up !!!! Didn't get my food for half an hour after I was told to be there, ran out pineapple (for a Hawaiian) and didn't call me so it was just Canadian bacon, didn't get my pizza in the oven until I paid for it, and the ranch has a different flavor altogether compared to the classic pizza parlor ranch I'm used to. I'm pretty disappointed and it will be a long time before I come back. **Update** I did receive a message from the manager and he said that they would be applying a refund to my account though I never saw it. I have been back and the food was just as good as before. It was a busy night that night and we were trying to support the fundraiser for our school which is why it was so busy. I've had their pizza on a few occasions. Nothing spectacular. A notch above Little Caesar's in quality. I called tonight to order a pizza, simply because I felt too lazy to cook and they advertise that they deliver. Last night my neighbor and I were going to split a pizza. After he ordered he stated it'd be over an hour till they delivered it. Since I figured most of that was because of delivery and I had a window of about half an hour I said he should call back to say we'd just pick it up since it usually only takes 20 min at Round Table and I thought it'd be about the same. She informed us it would be at least 45 min so I said to then just ignore this call and it would have to be delivered after all. An 1 1/2 hours later my neighbor called only to hear they'd cancelled our ordered without the decency to even call us to let us know. I had a toddler here waiting to eat. The whole situation was completely rude and unprofessional and unnecessary as far as I see it. Hadn't been there in a very long time and let me say this whole thing doesn't make me jump thru hoops to go back. My kids and I took a last minute adventure to go to Yosemite. We came to this Mountain Mike's and my kids were so hungry they had a hard waiting for the pizzas. I loved this place when tammy managed it but new managment made me hate it. Melissa always has a scowel on her face when i come in. I am never greeted with hospitality its always "what do you want". My mother was waiting at the counter and melissa completly ignored her and went to clean something. The enviornment is always unsettling and not very friendly. I can honestly see this place getting ran to the ground with attitude like this. The employees always look annoyed or agitated. I can not believe the customer service at this store!! The manager Jamie is sooo rude it's unbelievable! 1st they made 3 pizzas that aren't even close to Mt Mikes standards, but when I brought them back she said I was being rude!?! The OWNER said replace them but because we ate 1 (it was all we had planned for the night so the 5 of us eat one medium pizza) No sauce on 2 and hardly any on the other! Jamie told me to just go somewhere else! Which I differently will! All the good reviews have been written by them or their friends because the bad reviews are all right on point, EXCEPTIONALLY BAD SERVICE and even WORSE PIZZA! This place won't last much longer and Jamie will go somewhere else herself. Next call will be to corporate, because this is no Mt Mikes I'll Caesars is way better and that's bad! Don't know who Perry K is but when a customer gets 3 bad pizzas I'd expect to either a total refund or total replacement. The 1 medium that wasn't returned was eaten by 5 people because that's what was for dinner. I won't ever step foot in that store again! This is a mixed star review. If it was just the quality of the vegie combo gluten free pizza it would be a 4.5. I can't give a 5 because $17 for a small pizza seems a little steep but I have to eat gluten free and it is nearly impossible to get a good quality GF pizza anywhere. The atmosphere would be a 2. Both TVs were set to a sports channel and both TVs were out of order. You could neither clearly hear nor see the game. There was also a persistent clicking sound coming from somewhere, either the sound system or the arcade games. I was the only one in the restaurant at the time, and not planning to stay long, so I didn't mention the very annoying sounds. The front of the house was pretty untidy, with grimy tables that looked like they got a light swipe down at best. When I'm eating I don't like to have to ignore ground in dirt on the tables...kind of puts me off my appetite. So, going forward, I'll order to go rather than eating in. The place is always clean and Jamie and staff are always very polite and it is clear they bend over backwards for good customer service. What more can you ask for in a place? My Wife and I were visiting my folks in Sonora; they took us to this place and I'm glad they did. We all ordered the Supreme. The Pizza wasn't perfect but it was excellent. The crust was within that range of crispy crunchy goodness. The sauce had a smooth tomato taste. The meats and veggies had a good balance on the pizza. We asked my cousin who lives in Twain Harte where to go and he said Mike's....well we picked the wrong Mike's. We both had a pitcher of beer which was the beginning and end of our good experience with this place. We ordered mozzarella sticks - $7 and they tasted awful. We almost decided not to order pizza but we were buzzed and hungry. Finally I ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese. Don't bother ordering extra anything, you'll just be charged but not given it. The pizza was worse than the mozzarella sticks and we left half of it on the table and found a different place to eat on the highway home. Avoid this place! I would tell any one who asks that this is the best pizza in Sonora, however the customer service is terrible almost every time we go. We stick with it though, until now at least. What really pushed us to stop getting pizza here was our most recent delivery order. It took 2 hours for then to deliver the pizza and charged me $.50 for ranch cups that are less than half the size of the normal ones. I know my husband liked this place but I don't care for dirty eating establishments. It appeared to me to be a store front joint with dirty windows and trash on the floor behind the counter. Not consumer friendly. I asked if they could add some bbq sauce on top of my pizza and they told me they couldn't because it's store policy not to mix the sauces (???).
