We ordered a large pizza for pick up and once we opened the box we found out it was raw! It was very doughy. We called and asked to speak to the manager. We also told them we would take the pizza back so they can see it but we wanted our money back. They took our info and said the manager would call us back. We waited forever two days and nothing so we decided to call her back. She offered a credit to go towards our next order. We told her no thank you and would like our money back. Still waiting for our money back. Our dinner was ruined. Will not return. read more

I was excited to go to the new Mountain Mike's pizza in Upland. I am walking distance and thought I would find a place were I could walk to get a drink with a small pizza and salad maybe some wings. I check their website and the offerings at the other Mountain Mike's who have full bar and pizza and salad special. Not the case, When I got there I noticed that had some bar taps but no Beer was yet available and there would be no sit down bar. Oh well, I looked at the price of the wings and they were 8.99 for 6. WOW! I can pass on that. Then I noticed that their largest size, that looked like a normal sized extra large was over $45. Holy crap. So I went to look at their large 1 topping pizza and it was $21.99 and $2.50 per topping. It came out to be $25.75 and I asked why not $24.49? Just doing the math. He Also, said that there are two types of sausage Italian and LA sausage. I asked what is LA sausage and he said the same sausage but a little bit hotter. I said OK, give me half and half and pepperoni one the whole. Again I asked: why so much? He said, it charged it as one topping each. He had to reenter it for two toppings by making one half one half. That said it still came to $25.75. I said, your price calculations are off from your menu. When I got the pizza I found out what LA sausage is. It's Louisiana Sausage. Who would ever expect that on pizza. Salad bar is 8.99 and the tiny pizza is about the same. First positive thing I noticed was the booths were very comfortable and large. I am a larger person and normally I don't even want to try sitting at a booth because my stomach won't even fit between the table and bench. Here there was more than plenty of room.I even hat to lean up. Huge thumbs up! The sauce that was extra in there minds ended up being a perfect amount of sauce and the sauce was not runny nor did it affect the crust. The sauce ended up being ample and the right thickness and texture and then but more sauce not cheese as to not get it confused. The tasted pretty good. I would say similar to round table but better than round table. The crust was similar to Strawhat and Round table but in fact better and approaching a mainstream crust. the crust was good. The pepperoni was small and curled up and dried out around the edges. LA sausage was ok, I lived with it but not expecting it. Italian sausage must have been ok because it digested well meaning it was not hard or rubbery. I was later told that they did charge a $1.25 for extra sauce. I my view you should never charge for extra sauce or to put the correct amount of sauce on the pizza. Honestly, If he told me that upfront, I would have walked out. I think it is not in good faith to charge extra for extra sauce because it is subject at best. I might go back because the pizza was good. But I would wait until they fully open up and are more prepared. I was hoping they was have the Pizza, salad and drink special like the other locations, but I might go for the all you can eat lunch 11.9 during the week. I found it to have some positive points, we need to have a place that is more like their other locations, but i found it to be way over priced. Gil read more

We had my granddaughters birthday here last night. The service as well as the pizza was GREAT. There were 26 of us yet our pizzas and drinks were delivered to our table in a timely manner. Took my staff for the lunch buffet today, HORRIBLE service. When we placed our order, I asked if they would be putting anymore pizza out as I saw there was only one small pizza on the buffet heater and it looked very old. The cashier, Alyssa, stated "yes, there will be more". We proceeded to get our salad & drinks. About 30 mins later, I asked again about the pizza for the buffet and Alyssa replied, "more will be out". At this point, I'm concerned that maybe this place was a bad idea for lunch hour. I then asked Alyssa if she knew how long before pizza would be done. Mind you we are not the only people in the restaurant BUT we were the only ones that ordered the buffet. (note to self!!!) Alyssa then rudely tells me "mmhmmm, its coming out" I asked "what does that mean & can I talk to the manager?" To my surprise, SHE is the manager!!!! I then proceeded, in shock, to explain to her that we had been there now for 45 mins with not 1 slice of pizza for the group. Alyssa states to me, there is pizza under the warmer at which point I show her how old & completely cold it is. She stated she didn't know the warmer hasn't been on the whole time & she just thought we were being picky with the type of pizza we eat!!!! I asked if we could just get a pizza to go as we have to be back to work & she stated that I would have to pay for it as we already ate the salad!!!! THIS is UNBELIEVEABLE!!! It's truly so sad that Alyssa was so rude & didn't care that us nurses were there on our limited lunch for the first time to try the place out. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! We will make sure our friends & co-workers know how horrible the service is in the UPLAND store! With Alyssa being the manager, you can guarantee more HORRIBLE customer reviews!!! read more

This place is our new favorite! Ordered for carry out on the phone multiple times already and have had no problems. We've ordered for delivery once and it did take over an hour to get our order so we'll stick to carry out. Their pizza is great as well as their breadsticks and salad. We've had bad luck in the past with getting food delivered. But Mountain Mikes did not disappoint we got pizza, boneless wings, and churros. The food was so fresh and hot when it arrived finally a place that understands the concept hot food is better I started with the pizza- pretty damn perfect! My boyfriend started with the wings- loved them (even me how rarely will eat chicken)- they tasted like they came from a gourmet wings only place. I'm all for supporting local business but last night for the first time I went to Mountain Mike's pizza in Upland which just opened. I was dissapointed with the taste of the pizza, which tasted like it was a frozen pizza thrown in the oven and shocked at the bill amount. I ordered 2 medium pizza's which looked like small size pizzas, mozzarella sticks which were cold and buffalo wings which were the size of and looked like popcorn. Total amount was close to $70.00. Been to Mountain Mike's Pizza on a few different occasions and it has yet to disappoint. The Everest and pineapple luau pizza are my two favorite. The garlic cheese bread is a great side. Mountain Mike's Pizza is now in my regular rotation of places to pick up pizza. read more

It says it right on the box - "Pizza the way it oughta be." Truth in advertising! Although I have had Mike's pie delivered quite a lot, this is my first time at the restaurant. Austin, the Manager, is very attentive and really seems, not only to like his job, but also to truly care that the customer is satisfied. I appreciate excellent customer service and I got it here. Tried it for the first time. Not disappointed. Very nice and friendly staff. Place was clean. Pizza tasted gourmet. This is not a fast food pizza tasting chain. The pizza is really great tasting. Gourmet. More along the lines of CPK but more toppings and more delicious. I am giving four stars instead of five because they are pricey. But I will definitely keep ordering from them. read more
