Plus I hated driving with it full and wasn't that confident about attaching it to my grill. Then I found these guys. For less than my local store was charging for a tank exchange, they came to my house, brought the tank up the stairs and attached it. And their customer service was top notch. These guys are amazing!!

I recently purchased 2.6 gallons of propane and was charged a $4.95 Hazardous Materials Charge. When asked the cashier responded, "this company charges a flat rate standard charge for propane refills". I have been a customer of Western Propane Services for many years. They never charged a Hazardous Materials charge for propane refills. To be clear, I didn't dispose of anything. I brought in my 20 gallon tank for a refill. I highly recommend going elsewhere as this makes the price of propane much higher than it should be. I paid $16.69 for 2.6 gallons of propane. Approximately $6.42 per gallon with their BS fee added. They are also closed on the weekends now. Go elsewhere. U-haul at 7422 Garden Grove Blvd is 1 minute away. They do not charge a Hazardous Materials fee and are competitively priced.

While their service was way nicer I still had made my mind up about going a different route with propane that they couldn't change. Still continuing to have issues with the Adelanto office, I contacted corporate to have the tank removed, still no help... Joe from this location took care of me after that and his customer service was awesome. He always kept me up to date on what was going on and when he said he would get something done, it GOT done! My house is in escrow and I was told to just leave the tank on the property, as the new owners may need it. Even though there are 2 hooked up working tanks. It is a eye sore, with extra tanks. I soon discovered that despite them having the green handled pumps, they don't actually offer diesel fuel. My wife soon discovered that the staff working here are incredibly rude and that their "bathroom" is a shed with a spray painted sign. Despite the fact that my wife had been talking about a restroom for 50+ miles, she promptly ran back to the car and we went further up the 138 until we found an acceptable bathroom and fuel station.
