I believe this location is now amerigas? I had previously been dealing with the amerigas in Adelanto since I live in the middle of the two, after having two years of dreadful service from the Adelanto office the propane driver asks me to give the Little Rock location a try. While their service was way nicer I still had made my mind up about going a different route with propane that they couldn't change. Still continuing to have issues with the Adelanto office, I contacted corporate to have the tank removed, still no help... Joe from this location took care of me after that and his customer service was awesome. He always kept me up to date on what was going on and when he said he would get something done, it GOT done! I stopped my service July 2015, due to terrible overall customer service. 1.5 YEARS LATER, mountain Propane still have not picked up the second tank. My house is in escrow and I was told to just leave the tank on the property, as the new owners may need it. Even though there are 2 hooked up working tanks. It is a eye sore, with extra tanks. Maybe I should charged rental space for a most 2 years. Hopefully being bought out improves the service. read more

Worst company ever! If you ever have to get propane service DO NOT make them your choice. They are over priced and cannot take an order correctly they will give you way more then you ordered and slap you with a huge unwanted expense that you did not ask for and weren't prepared for, and if you try and complain or negotiate payment plan due to there mistake the answer will be sorry cant help you. Customer service is in the toilet and they could care less. So if that's the company for you then Good Luck! I am only giving them 1 star because a zero rating is not an option. read more

I have been a customer of theirs for over 18 years. I kept calling them and leaving messages but no one called back. It took them almost 2 weeks to deliver my propane over Thanksgiving. I had to cook my thanksgiving dinner at my neighbors and it was in the 30's and I nearly froze to death. They are only 6 miles from me. When they finally did deliver they charged me $4.60 a gallon. I have been trying to get them to pick up my tank as I am now with Ace Propane. I leave messages and have sent letters but no one returns phone calls. I will go in person and let them have it. I liked Mountain Proflame. That's why I stayed with them for 19 years. When Amerigas bought them out they went to hell. More corporate greed. HORRIBLE. Too bad they don't provide minus stars on this. First, mountain pro-flame needs to change their slogan to "We Don't Respect Our Customers" Purchased a house 2 months ago with the pro-flame tank already on the property so we thought we would keep that service. Big Mistake! Called to order a refill for the first time and was advised that we needed to have a full inspection completed as a result of the transfer of the account. I get it from a safety standpoint but it took a week and half for them to actually show up. With the inspection complete, they estimated the amount to refill the tank and collected the check then said the tank would be refilled on Friday or Saturday. They didn't show. On Monday I called to see why they didn't show up and they apologized and then said they would deliver on Friday. Friday came and they didn't show so we again called and they said they didn't have us on the schedule for today and it would be Monday. So their dispatcher can't seem to get a truck to our area, but they had no issue cashing the check for the propane they still haven't delivered! We are now over 3 weeks since making the request and 2 weeks since they cashed the check for the refill they never delivered. We are going to switch service providers. read more

Since this also appears to have been called mountain proflame I'll leave my review here as well. We just closed escrow on our new home. Tried to start propane service and found out that mountain proflame has been servicing the tank in an extremely unsafe location. Inside a building with electrical . Needless to say they wouldn't turn the gas on for us the new owners. Fine , there is a safety issue ... how do we fix it? Well to know that answer you need to have good customer service which they do not have. The manager is very rude and not helpful kept saying he has a contract .. with who?!? Not us! We just bought the place ! They wouldn't give us any answers l how to fix the issue or a time frame. Meanwhile I can't cook, do laundry or let my kids take warm showers in our new home ! They are now claiming it will take longer to pick up the tank than expected because its full of gas. How is this my problem ? Their company has been filling it for years as a known major fire hazard it's not issue the tank is in a tough spot. Between the fact they don't care about your safety as clearly they didn't for the previous owners.. the customer service is dreadful and they are way more expensive than other companies I strongly suggest avoiding them like the plague ! We found another company who came out immediately was sympathetic to our situation and beyond helpful and a lot lot cheaper ! ! read more

Horrible doesn't begin to describe them. Been calling for 3 weeks. Called cell numbers of drivers too, no answer. Today they finally answered and then left me on hold for 20 minutes. No one answered. Two previous calls for emergency delivery ignored. Called local competitors who stated that they are backed up due to a high number of Mountain Proflame customers, in December, who have cancelled their service, or lack of, with Mountain Proflame and signed up with a new service. My new service can't set me up till January 18 due to all his new Mountain Proflame customers. read more

I've been a customer for 2 years...I like these guys....they are very good at what they do....free set up...I believe I got $1 discount per gallon on my first purchase....that adds up when you are getting a few hundred gallons. The only thing I don't like is paying an annual fee to rent the tank....but all propane companies do it.so oh well.... read more

Where do I even start, I moved in 2 years ago my first year was to be free tank rent and $1.99 a gallon it took 6 months for them to send the bill to the right place after they sent me to collectors to have me harassed because of their incompetence. When you call them expect to be on hold for over 40 minutes only to be hung up on almost every time you call. I tried to work with them again this year and customer service again non existent not to mention they charge way more per gallon and for tank rent then the competition, so I got a new company. They had 30 days to pick their tank up its almost March I canceled in January they still haven't picked the tank up and they are trying to charge tank rent for it. We went up to Pine Mountain to look for a house and the realtor there said even up there this company is infamous, worst service she's ever seen. read more

Awful customer service. Driver drove up our driveway delivering propane and crushed our solar lights. Company 'investigated' and called us back to let us know that the driver had decided to reverse up our driveway and would not compensate us for the damage. Basically their attitude was 'that's what happened and you're on your own'. When our propane tank is empty, we're going to invite them to come pick up their tank and transfer to another supplier like Ferrel Gas. read more

Sadly, our Amerigas location closed down and they transferred us to this location which sells the Amerigas propane. We have propane at our home out in a canyon in Castaic. They were not that great and over charged us the first year we had it and acted like it was our mistake by not asking what the monitor customer rate was - which was almost half the price. So, shortly after being notified that we had been transferred we get this new agreement sent to us via e-mail. EVERYTHING has changed. We now had the highest tank rental price compared to all other propane dealers out - we went from a no charge for tank rental to the highest rental. There was a new annual fee to have the privilege of purchasing (multiple year customer) Ameriagas now on top of actually paying for the propane, delivery, and hazard fees. After calling around to all the other residential home suppliers they were by far the absolute most expensive. We have over the years had out bumps with the original location but this was too much. We set it up to close the account for a very larger fee of $140 and they would come two weeks later to collect their tank per what they decided would work for them. So they do not show up to pick up their tank and the new company has to put it aside on our turn around area for our driveway. They never call to tell us they are not coming. We call them the next afternoon trying to give them a buffer of the next morning to find out they don't know why they didn't pick it up. They need to call us back. Another hour and half goes by and we have to call them again. Finally they say they are sorry, but they had an emergency and now they cannot come for another two weeks. This thing is totally in the way and I still have to pay them $140 to take their tank back. The tank is nearly empty - less than 15%. They don't care and told us we signed a contract stating they had 30 days to pick it up. Sure - we signed a contract that did not have their new astronomical prices either and they are not living up to your end of the deal, but they are making us keep their tank after not showing up for their choice appointment day and time. We of course made sure someone was here all day for that. Moral of the story is their customer service and loyalty treatment is a minus one but that is not a rating for yelp - the office staff are rude and they are totally incompetent for the appointments they make. Of course the best part is they charge more than any other company that offers the same service. You have been warned to take a few minutes and find a different company. I really did try working with Mountain. Last year in December I was charged over $4.85 a gallon when every other company was charging at least $2 a gallon less. I was going to go to another company but at the time they were very busy and since my tank was already filled I was going to wait until spring. Then in February Mountain called and said they were giving me a credit of over $300 towards my next fill up. They also explained they were trying to fix all of the problems from the last few months. So I decided to stay with them and give them a chance. Filled up in September prices were close to everyone else. Called to fill up in January and again they were at $4.85 a gallon. Called 3 other providers and they ranged from $3.30-$3.50 a gallon. I know it's winter and prices always increase but why again are they so much higher than everyone else. read more

The issue of not showing up for delivery's have been happening to me for at least a year. At first I thought it was a one time thing, But its just kept getting worse. When I call and tell them their late with delivery (I'm set up for every other month), I'm given a new date they don't show too. My 'schedule delivery' was suppose to be on Dec 9th. Still no one showed. I finally got a hold of them and will be canceling. I found a knew place that will fill the tank + tank rental, and it will still come out to a lower amount then what I've been paying ProFlame. The girl on the phone told me they will be lowering the prices (which have gone up so much!!) but not till the next day. I asked what the tank rental fee will be, because mine is due, They increased it to $99. from $75. The other places I called offer rental for $50. If they were really trying to fix this and 'lower prices' as she told me, you would think the tank rental would be the first thing to lower. Now they want $140. to pick up the tank and will not credit me the unused propane. Anyway they can rip people off, they are. read more

Worst company that Littlerock has to offer. We have our plan set up where the propane tank is topped off on a frequent basis. No phones calls or notification necessary. Somebody simply shows up on the property (without the homeowner being present), fills the tank, and carries on. However it turns out that the company hasn't been filling our tank for months which eventually led us to running out of propane. Thus wasting our money on a service plan that the company has yet to fulfill. Customer service seems to be non existent. A lost art. It's impossible to contact anybody in the local office. Even if you do get the opportunity to talk to somebody you'll either get put on a lengthy hold or you'll get told that your information can not be pulled up and they will have to call you back. Which leads to my next argument: no return phone calls. If you request for a return phone call or you are told that somebody will return your phone call I can assure you the possibility of that happening is incredibly slim. They especially lack the common courtesy to notify you if they can not meet their delivery time. For example, I had set a service appointment for 7PM to get my propane tank filled. I called customer service (NOT the local office. As mentioned prior, it's impossible to reach anybody) to confirm my time. Not once, not twice, but I called THREE times. And each time I was given the same response: "yes, I see here we have you noted for 7pm". Granted I was also told that there would be a two hour window which I accepted as long as somebody came that night to get the job done. Nobody ever showed up. Nobody ever gave me a courtesy call to inform me that a delivery will not be made that night. It took me three calls just to get a simple answer of "nobody will be arriving". Overall I find this company to be dishonest, irresponsible, and unprofessional. I don't understand how anybody can view their actions as acceptable and I'm unable to tolerate their services. If they plan on continuing to perform the way they do and not improve their standards, I wouldn't mind taking my business elsewhere. To mountain proflame: all we ask for is to get the job done based on what was agreed in our plan. Otherwise please tell me now if this is not a possibility. I'd rather not waste my time and money on a business that can not fulfill their end of the bargain. read more

Their phone says they are not available for 2 days strait now. No one answers and voicemail is full. The haven't shown up in the 10 day window. The office doesn't respond. Dump these guys. On top of it you have to listen to their stupid on hold message about how customer service is their first concern. Avoid these guys at all costs. read more

At first I was really happy with their service. The owner that I rent the house from had gotten offered a great deal on propane and he passed it along to us. I called and everything was set up and it went smoothly. Becky was GREAT! They said it would take 7-10 days to deliver and they actually were there in only 3 days. The reason i am leaving only one star is because of the negligence on behalf of the driver. He "forgot" to close a valve or turn a valve back on. Either way our propane take was spewing out propane. We had to call the fire department to come and turn if off. Whoops? Thank god there was no open flame anywhere. My father who is disabled was told by the fire department to evacuate the house. So he had to hobble around and round up our dogs and get them into a car all while in a massive amount of pain. This forgotten valve could have been a really big deal had it exploded or someone walked by with a lit cigarette considering we live in the mountains where we have an extreme fire hazard. read more

I have been a customer of ProFlame for many years. Every winter, I have to call for more propane due to the temperature drop, and every year there is a delay of over a week for delivery. This year's service was inexcusable. I called for more propane as directed when the pressure gauge indicated we were at 20% and waited three weeks for a delivery. Needless to say, we spent Christmas vacation without the propane to run the heater, dryer, hot water, oven or stove. When I called the office in Little Rock, I usually received a message assuring me that customer satisfaction was a top priority, then a message saying the local office could not accept calls. I left many messages asking for a return call, received four in three weeks, all telling me that I was scheduled to receive a propane delivery "Tomorrow". Several "tomorrows" came with no delivery. When I finally referred to my situation as an emergency, I was on hold for 20 minutes with no one ever responding. The next day, I reached a person at the emergency number who told me they would contact my local office. No propane delivery came as a result. I am sorry that Mountain ProFlame, recently bought by Amerigas, has fallen silently from satisfactory service to abysmal. If someone had just let me know honestly what was happening, I wouldn't feel so angry and abandoned. read more

Mountain Proflame used to provide great service. I've used them for over 20 years. I have no idea what happened to them, but now the service is so bad that I've canceled my account. They've got very expensive and the delivery service is terrible. I ran out of propane for two weeks because I had to wait to sign up with another propane company. All the ones I called said the same exact thing, "We're backed up on new services because we've run out of tanks. Too many people are canceling with Mtn. Proflame." In reading other's reviews, I find that so many others are having the same problem I had. I would not use this company again. read more

If you've recently joined the "I hate Mountain Proflame club", here's a tip: let your tank run until empty. Find a cheaper company while you're letting out the rest of your propane. MP charges $40 to pick up an empty tank. Most likely much more for a tank partially filled. They will not refund u for the remainder of your rent if you cancel before the end of your tank rent. My tank gauge was at zero and was still igniting my heater and stove for about a week. I called a new co during the same week, got started on the paperwork they emailed me, then I scanned and emailed them back the documents on a thursday. I called them friday to make sure that they have my signed documents. I finally could not get a flicker on saturday. Ran space heaters in the meantime, and got take out food. I called monday to see if they can install. They said someone will come by 12pm. They came 11am. I got my new tank/propane put in. I had them put the MP tank right outside of my fence then I called MP. After being put on hold for 15 mins, they told me: Write a cancellation letter. Mine was simple. "May this letter serve as a notice of my intent to cancel your service. Please pick up your propane tank." Put down your acct #. Address: mountain proflame CANCELLATIONS ('cancellations'part not required but I thought I would put it in so no one can mistake this as ordinary mail) PO Box 308 Littlerock CA 93543. Since I have the MP tank outside my fence, MP told me "they will pick up tank within 30 days of receipt of letter. You are responsible for the tank while waiting for them to pick up. If its outside of your property and tank is destroyed or tagged, you are responsible for the damages." I will mail my letter certified with return receipt in case they pick up past the 30 days and I will start charging them rent :) Don't bother calling them, you will only get a busy signal, be put on hold, or get a recording saying that they are busy and press a number to leave a message, then that voice mail is full.
