Mountain Timber coffee is warm and cozy. The service was excellent. MT Timber had 3 workers making coffee when we walked in. They are very good at their jobs. Two line up of cars and they were able to serve us quickly and help those at the drive up. The coffee was delicious. We love coffee and we were pleased with the roast. We ordered an Americano and cappuccino. We love to taste the coffee flavor without a sour taste. They hit the mark on extraction and the flavor of the beans was amazing. Not sour taste at all. Highly recommend MT Timber Coffee.

We were driving through and decided to try out Mountain Timber. The iced mocha was fantastic, the caramel apple butter latte was amazing and the food was hot and fresh!! We'll be back next time we're in the area :)

Best iced coffee I've had in a long time, if ever! I got the iced caramel macchiato and it was bursting with flavor both espresso wise and the caramel/vanilla. It was really rich, just perfection. My husband got an iced toffee nut latte and it was super good as well. We also got a breakfast burrito that was reasonably priced compared to most other coffee shops and it was really tasty. The gals working Memorial Day morning were incredibly friendly and made amazing drinks. Cheers to them! Can't wait to come back.

This is a great coffee place. I love finding excellent coffee and i found it here. My americano was full of flavor and nice and hot. The staff so friendly and helpful. Their coffee is from a local roaster, top notch!!

Cute little coffee shop! My husband and I tried had the mocha, warbonnet, sausage burrito, and coffee cake. Both the drinks were delicious -- had just the right amount of sweetness and still has that strong coffee taste. Burritos were slightly on the smaller side, but still very filling. I only wished there was more egg and sausage and less hash browns. Coffee cake was pretty good too. The staff were all really nice and were very efficient. The interior is small but super cute! We're definitely going to stop by again to try more of their specialty drinks.

First time in Idaho & I had to go coffee shop hopping! First stop: Mt. Timber Coffee! My boyfriend knew exactly where to take me. The parking lot is super small, and so is the actual coffee shop. It's so charming. Loved the vibes! My boyfriend got a cold brew w/ vanilla sweetener. The barista said they did not have any sweet foam but she suggested a sweetener. I love it when baristas give fun suggestions. I got an English toffee oat milk latte (hot). The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the burritos. They were really dry and not that tasty. I wish the burritos had avocado or more flavor. 2 coffees + 2 (small) burritos turned out to be $26, which is steeeeppppp. But! I would've gone back. Great job, baristas!!

I came into this lovely coffee shop this morning with my two boys, and we were able to enjoy the ambience and our snacks while waiting for our vehicle repair next door. I ordered a iced caramel macchiato, and it was quite tasty. I'm glad we stopped in because the two employees were top notch, along with their hospitality, great customer service and empathy for my son who needed to use their restroom ASAP. This is a charming little drive through in Meridian. When social distancing is over, there is a little bit of indoor seating (with gorgeous house plants...swoon). But for now, drive through for the win! I'm a drip coffee gal so that's all I've had. Mt Timber tends to have some more fruity coffees and I like it! Mix in some 1/2 and 1/2 and it's perfect. They have amazing breakfast burritos! You must get one. I don't know where the scones come from. But the one that I had was lemony, slightly sweet and had nice fresh blueberries. Don't get out of your PJs and get some delicious drive through coffee! read more

Stumbled across this place on accident and ended up in the drive thru. Sure glad I did! Got off and Marshal enjoyed their outside seating. Very friendly staff and the coffee was amazing! They recommended I try the "mad fire" and if I didn't like it they would make me another one! It was GREAT! read more

Perfect balance of ambiance and caffeine. The intimate sipping area is comfortable, and yet productive. Nice lighting and perfect temperature while surrounded by windows and the typical sights and sounds of the La Marzocco expressing the delicious nectar out of the beans cup by cup. The girls behind the counter were upbeat and friendly greeting vehicles at the drive up and counter quickly and professionally. Simple menu selection of coffee drinks, tea, sodas and the limited selection of Nam Nams (breakfast burritos, baked goods). Wi-Fi is available and they employee Apple Pay as an option as well. The location is perfect for northbound traffic on meridian rd, but a little tricky if heading south towards the highway interchange. But it is worth the effort in smiles, value and smiles. read more

This was my first time here. I wanted to try 2 different drinks. So I got the dark chocolate breve blended and the Nighthawk, which is Mexican mocha and caramel, iced. Kaylee was working and she gave me great recommendations, she was extremely kind, hard working and moved fast. Both drinks that she made tasted DELICIOUS. She also spoke very highly of the owners and the business itself. I would come back here and recommend this place off of her alone. Thank you!!! read more

Great coffee. Great location love the interior and two drive thrus. What a great use of space. The place appears to be female owned and run and everyone is sweet and cheerful. Been here 2x so far since I've been out here for work and both times my coffee was great and the customer service was amazing. Great coffee, extremely friendly service and fair prices, you can't beat that. I'll definitely be back a 3rd or 6th time before I head home haha. read more

When I lived in Idaho, I worked in Meridian and he often used to stop in to grab coffee when it was Moxie Java. I moved away came back to visit my daughter and we used to go there together when it was big star which I really loved. After a really bad experience that lucky perk where they dumped table saw in my salted caramel mocha, yuck I decided I would try out mountain try Mt. timber coffee.We use the drive-through and we both ordered breves. I got a vanilla toffee nut and she got a caramel hazelnut both drinks were made to the correct temperature she offered with cream and toppings plus to use high-quality syrups sauces and add Ins. They do charge extra for using half-and-half which is to be expected with the small independent coffee shop, the staff was amazing and friendly and she offered us a loyalty punchcard will definitely be back next time I'm in town! read more

Best drive through in town. Where it's placed can be inconvenient in the sense of getting to it, but otherwise, everything about this place is awesome. Close to work (Cole Valley Christian) so once I learned about this place I've been going regularly. My Monday morning spot. read more

Since moving to Boise, I have searched everywhere for my new local coffee shop and Mountain Timber Coffee has definitely filled that position. The service is quick & friendly, options are robust, and the coffee delicious. Bonus is the loyalty card to get free drinks. My favorite drinks here are the White Mocha w/ Maple Spice (Think of drinking Pancakes) and Dark Mocha w/ Toffee Nut. All five of the Mocha flavors (White, Regular, Dark, Kona, & Mexican) are wonderful in their own way. read more

Easy to miss driving by but that's the charm. Small area inside but most seem to drive thru on both sides for service. I had a sugar free iced mocha and sausage burrito. My daughter got the Matcha with oat milk and banana bread. She said it's her favorite over the competitors. I really liked my selections and plan to return. Highly recommend for drive up service or stay inside for awhile. read more

I waited for 30 minutes for the most disgusting egg and cheese breakfast burrito. They clearly forgot and when I went to the counter they brought it out in 30 seconds. It was definitely microwaved bc the hash browns were hard as a rock and overcooked one the microwave. It was so small and made me sick after I ate half. The americano was ok. I have been trying to call them for days now to ask for a refund and no one ever answers the phone. I would give this business 0 stars if I could. read more

They had pretty good coffee, great atmosphere but not a whole lot of room. I tried to do some work there but their Internet was very limited. I wouldn't recommend coming here to try to get work done if you're going to be using their Wi-Fi. Prices seemed about average. read more

The coffee is not bad, but the service has really gone downhill! The punch card system rollout online had been a huge struggle. Staff also aren't sure of what constitutes stars and what doesn't. The waits have increased significantly and the staff have been a little rude. I love supporting local but probably will stop coming here because it has gotten pretty unpleasant. read more

I am absolutely in awe with Mt Timber Coffee. The excellent customer service, to the super cute and unique atmosphere to the deliciously crafted coffee, is all wonderful. This coffee shop is incredibly cozy, and reminds me of home. The windows radiant an incredible amount of light + good vibes along with the incredibly comfy seating options. The coffee is crafted incredibly well, making my Iced Irish Cream Breve, the best I've ever had. Mt Timber has taken it's place as my all-time-favorite coffee shop, and I'm incredibly stoked to have even found it!! read more

This is my go-to coffee spot for dates with the Mrs. or to relax. The coffee house is small, but cozy with really comfortable seating. The coffee is excellent (highly recommend the Mocha with Oat Milk) and the selection of pastries is good. The customer service is always friendly and quick. Highly recommend checking this coffee house out if you're driving through for a cup on the go or walking in to relax. read more

Employees were so pleasant!! Super attentive and helpful! I ordered an Americano with cream. The espresso must've been off that day. It was very bold, bitter and tasted burnt. I normally prefer smooth espressos since I don't add any sugar. I should've also clarified if it was a medium roast espresso. I'd try again for sure. read more

Great coffee. Great breakfast burritos. Great vibes. The staff is always very friendly to me and my pups, but not excessive (like some other coffee stops). Easy access from the road for the double drive through. Not a lot of parking if you go in, but the inside is super cute and offers a great place to chat with friends or do homework. The coffee is 10/10 hot or iced and I very much appreciate the simple menu. There's always delicious muffins and other treats to satisfy your cravings. My personal favorite are their breakfast burritos. They never disappoint!! read more

Established in 2018.

We started Mountain Timber Coffee as a sister company to Mocha Moose Coffee in Boise, Idaho. We have been slinging coffee since 2004 and are excited to expand out of Boise into Meridian.

Meet the Business Owner: Stacia T.

We decided to start a coffee shop in 2004 when we were moving down from Alaska after finishing his service in the Air Force. We didn't know what we were going to do next so starting a coffee shop sounded like a good idea. We opened Mocha Moose Coffee in SW Boise in May of 2004 then our second shop in the Northend of Boise February 2005. We went down to one shop while we were both in school and starting a family. Fast forward 13 years and we began looking for a shop with a drivethru and a lobby. Which has always been a dream of mine. Mocha Moose Coffee was a drivethru only. We heard through the grapevine that Big Star Coffee in Meridian was selling so we jumped on the chance and bought it. We slowly began changes to the building and training of our crew. We knew we didn't want to name is Mocha Moose Coffee so we started Mountain Timber Coffee as a sister company to it. And here were are! Serving the heart of Meridian exceptional coffee with amazing customer service.

It is pretty dang good.. you have to enjoy those candy chocolate oranges that are sold around the holidays to like it and luckily I do ! It came with a cute little garnish on top of the cup which was a dried piece of an orange and pine held together with honey. I can definitely see myself coming back here when in the area and feel like walking through the pretty garden. Next time I'll try out their floral offerings like the Rose Cardamom latte and perhaps a lavender and rose shortbread cookie- I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Bat Man and Marvel comics were his go to. So, coming to this joint only made sense. Yoooooo, this has to be one of the dopest comic book stores around! As soon as you walk in, everything catches your eye! You have Deadpool right at the door. You have beautiful display cases with the most realistic characters in them. Funko Pops nicely organized on shelves. Comic books neatly arranged in bins nicely labeled. It truly is a prestine store. We looked around for a bit. I was just in awww at how cool everything was. My husband was mainly doing the looking. He didn't really find anything that caught his eye. He has a pretty good collection but didn't find what he was specifically looking for. All good cause there's always next time! The gentleman that was working today was really nice! Even though he was mid conversation with another customer, he still greeted us! Very loudly and happily too! The set up of this joint is cool! And the fact that they serve coffee here so you can chill and read a comic is dope. I wouldn't mind sipping on a coffee chilling with my husband while he's vibing to a comic. We both look forward to coming back and seeing what kind of new displays and comics they have.

A double shot espresso and a medium house drip coffee totaled $4.35! I had to double check with the barista to ensure that was the correct total, and YES THAT WAS MY TOTAL!!! I wished I had a more time to check out their comic selection, but that will have to be on my next visit. BTW: The house coffee was smooth with a nice nutty flavor (no sweetener or creamer used). My daughter also enjoyed her double espresso shots which sparked her game play during her volleyball match. Now I wished I lived closer to Boise.

The restaurant is located in a nice shopping center on the corner of Eagle and Overland, immediately on the other side of 84. The location is nestled towards the back of the center and can easily be missed as it's tucked in the corner of a small lot. We were greeted with a huge smile and swift seating to a booth in the larger dining room area. Even though it was barely 11:30 am on a Saturday, the dining room was already filling with hungry customers and the kitchen was notably bustling. We had Kaitlyn as our server. She arrived with a sunny disposition and eagerness to get our orders going. Downside, due to cost, tomatoes are not available. I have to say, that kind of broke my heart a little...tomatoes, in my eyes, are a requirement for every burger. I ordered the Bleu Bacon single burger and hubby had the cheeseburger. We ordered a small fry (1/2 pound) for us to share. Food did take quite a while to come out, but our server did come by several times to check on us, refill drinks, and give us updates (apparently a large to-go order backlogged the kitchen). The burgers came out first. I was a little underwhelmed with the small burger plate and cheese that was obviously cold when added to the burger and had become a tad sweaty from being steamed instead of melted. I had little hope....but then I took my first bite. The Kaiser hamburger bun was soft, burger patty was nicely seasoned and the bleu cheese was punchy without being overwhelming. The bacon sung through. The fries quickly followed. We were surprised by the home cut style, thick and irregular...rustic and perfectly cooked. These suckers are huge. But with every fry, it was crunch-tender on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I really enjoyed our visit, but the place seemed to be a little understaffed. Several tables had plates stacked or cleaning supplies atop the tables. That aside, service was attentive and the food tasted great, even without the tomatoes.

Why would you go to all the trouble of bringing a chemicals out to clean a table and just leave it there? In addition to the less than clean dining area, the restrooms were dirty too. And one final note...maybe servers should consider NOT wearing their PJ's to work. It's just off-putting.
