I'm so happy to see so many new restaurants in Naples specializing in other cusines. Being a big fan of Lebanese and Mediterranean dishes, this was a must try on my list. When you enter - read the sign "please seat yourself". Grab a table of your preference and magically service appears. When the weather is gorgeous, there is outdoor setting available. Our waiter was friendly and made many suggestions. We wanted try everything on the menu but decided not tonight so we hit a couple of appetizers and the vegetarian plate. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. It was our first visit to this wonderful bistro and I am sorry we took so long to get there. Had Lebanese red wine and beer to start and it was delicious. Appetizers and dinner were out of this world. I have never been a true baba ganoush fan but this was delicious. The falafel was the best I have ever eaten. The lamb was fabulous too! Even the baklava was terrific - not too sweet but very flavorful and loaded with pistachios. Everything is homemade, but there is an option to pre-order on the website to save a little time if you are in a hurry. We have close friends who prepare authentic Lebanese food. They should open a restaurant. This bistro doesn't even put garlic in their hummus! The pita was cold, hard and served in lunch baggies! Appalling. The lamb kabobs had little flavor and could have been any meat on a skewer with no seasoning. What a disappointment. Also, extremely overpriced for what we got. I love the food here and order to-go orders regularly as the restaurant is small and can fill up very fast. Baba ganoush & grape leaves with garlic sauce are delicious and I love to order the sampler platter with extra pita. The larger sampler has little fried meat or cheese pies which I didn't very good...they lacked flavor and were a little over cooked in my opinion. Hummus, chicken shawarma and lamb are delicious but the portions are very tiny and it can be an expensive meal. The ground meat is always too dry for my liking. Baklava was beautiful but I prefer mine more wet with the delicious honey syrup... just a personal preference. The higher price tag is explained away as boasting organic ingredients. read more

I am lebanese was visiting Miami when someone told us about the Lebanese restaurant in Naples, we visited and we didn't say anything about being Lebanese, we wanted to see what the hype was all about. We were warmly welcomed even though the place was packed, we knew we had to wait about 30 minutes before being seated, the hostess offered us water or something else to drink, I had a beer which was a Lebanese import highly recommended. We didn't feel the time waiting, we had some starters and ordered Hummus and Baba ghannouj which came out fast and tasted delicious, the bread was served the real authentic Lebanese way for those who said it's served in plastic that's the way we have it in Lebanon, I wish they made their own pita but it doesn't seem they have the space to put a brick oven. We ordered the chicken shawarma and the Lamb kabob which was moist and tasted really good, my wife ordered some Lebanese wine with it and couldn't get any better. The owner stopped by our table and introduced himself, very friendly and hospitable, the waitress was very friendly also and attentive to our drinks and kept out table clean. Our experience was excellent and the food was delicious we would definitely go back and will highly recommend everyone to go try Moura in Naples. FIVE STARS all the way. read more

OMG OMG...this place is so delicious! My hubby and I were in town for the day and wanted something tasty and light. Superseded our expectations. I had the vegetarian platter ( I'm not vegetarian by the way) and he ordered some kind of beef dish. Everything was so tasty and fresh with the perfect profile of flavor. We were full but wanted to experience the baklava so we ordered, did not disappoint! Hands down the BEST baklava I've ever tasted. My only suggestion is that the owner do two things...1. open a restaurant in FT. Lauderdale and 2. please teach me how to make your Grandmothers baklava! We will definitely be back again. read more

Like other reviewers, I had looked forward to Moura Bistro's opening and was excited to have dinner there earlier this week. I try to support local businesses whenever I can, and love middle eastern cuisine. 2 stars for a lovely presentation and good flavor in my beef kebabs. Why not more? Our hummus appetizer did not come with bread. The waitress informed us that she could bring the bread accompaniment from our dinner plates early; otherwise bread for the hummus would cost an additional $1. I'm curious - if we had declined, would we have simply eaten the hummus with a spoon? Once the appetizer arrived, we were not given plates or silverware. Maybe an oversight. Costs are high for the "level" of this restaurant. Dinner for 2 with the hummus and 2 diet cokes tallied up to $70 after a tip. At that price point, we could have gone a nudge higher and been at a Fifth Avenue South restaurant. Decor and ambience are sparse. Again, for this price point, we might predict something more than a place that feels like a so-so breakfast place. Outdoor seating is available but not covered, which may be a challenge during rainy summer months. I'll try back once more - specifically to try the fattoush and tabouleh. Let's hope that I'm able to provide a more positive update on my review. read more

No more! I used to love Moura when it first opened. But in the past 6 months its become a shadow of what it once was. Portions have got a lot smaller, and their take-out service (always a bit hit and miss) is just a joke. Two times ago they got my order wrong, one time ago I ordered by phone only for them to tell me once I got to the restuaruant that they'd run out of chicken Shish Tahook (what decent Lebanese restaurant runs out of CHICKEN on a Saturday night??) and last night they hung up on our call three times repeatedly because they just didnt want to be bothered with Take Out business. A great shame and if they're not careful, they'll go the way their neighbor Sakura went (that was a Hawaian restaurant that ran out of poke - I know, maybe its a thing at this plaza?). Anyway, I've had it with Moura. I went to Zoe's Kitchen instead -which was cheaper and better. And in future I will try the new Karim's down by 21 Spices. There are other, better Lebanese restaurants who actively want customers, unlike this place. Sad. read more

Wanted to try this place bc I love most middle eastern food. We went on a Saturday evening at 6pm so the kids could see the belly dancer. Unfortunately I didn't make a reservation and we had to wait 45 minutes for a table. The interior of the restaurant is small so we had to wait outside. The outside seating area is nice, but in swfl in July it's hot. They were nice enough to give my kids drinks while we waited. Once we got seated the belly dancer was just starting. She is very good and very friendly. The food came relatively quickly which was good. The chicken shwarma was pretty good. The beef shwarma was dry. The hummus and baba ghanoush were good. I liked the kebbeh, but my middle eastern mom did not. She also commented that the falafel was too dry. They have a lot of logistics to work out. I hope they can do so and maybe we will go back. As for now we'll stick to Bha Bha Persian restaurant on 5th! read more

I'm a big fan of middle eastern food. I actually consider myself a bit of a hummus expert. I was a bit disappointed in this place. Food: the food was mediocre. The hummus was clean and fresh but lacked flavor. The pita bread comes out cold and in a plastic bag. I had a schwarma sandwich - It was a 6 out of 10. My mother in law liked but not loved the veggie platter. My wife gave her platter a 7.5 out of ten. We all agreed that the food is overpriced. Food score: 3/5 service: very nice people. They took time to explain the dishes to us. They kept our cups full throughout the meal. This is the strongest aspect of the restaurant. The most authentic Lebanese food we have had in the United Stares! Started with the Kebbeh Balls, Grape Leaves, Baba Ghannouj & Cheese Sambousek which were all excellent. Many times when you order Kebbeh it's very dry, but not here - they were cooked just perfect! For dinner we had the Shish Kabob Lamb & Shish Kafka which were both very good. The owner also stopped by our table a few times and was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return next time we are in Naples! read more

Let me first start by saying I am so glad this place is open! Next- let me address previous comments (being in the restaurant business I feel it necessary) - they are brand new and had no idea to expect they were going to be as busy as they are, which is wonderful. You have to realize all restaurants have bumps and bruises throughout the first week or 3. We arrived at about 7 and got a table outside. We had 2 different entrees, both absolutely delicious, fresh fresh good, all made to order. The owner Nabil came and sat and chatted with us for awhile and we met his son as well, very very nice man and his son was adorable. "Moura" is his mothers name and he uses all her recipes. I'm glad to see that Moura is finally open. Given that I am part Arabic, I was very excited to see that we were getting Middle Eastern cuisine in Naples. Southwest Florida is definitely in need of more diverse food offerings and Moura fills a much needed niche. They definitely have a lot of potential, have a great location, but they still have various logistical issues to work out. I truly do want to see them succeed, but they have to improve on some areas. Some constructive criticism: They need to staff up, train the staff on the menu's offerings (waitstaff wasn't knowledgeable about the menu or Middle Eastern food), and the workflow in the kitchen and the front needs to be managed better. The menu should also be expanded to include more authentic Lebanese offerings besides kebabs, falafel and shawarmas. The bread could definitely be better. The pita doesn't seem to be all that fresh, tastes like a generic packaged brand that isn't freshly baked on premises like most Lebanese restaurants do. The hummus and the falafel could use more spices. I've never been to an Arabic or Lebanese restaurant that didn't offer tahini sauce. The Lamb that I had wasn't a premium cut. Half of the meat consisted of skin and fat. The Chicken Kebab was good, very tasty and the garlic sauce that it came with was superb, although I found it a little odd that they served what looked like frozen breakfast potatoes with all of the dishes. I wish them a good deal of success and I'm confident that they will work to improve on some key spots. read more

Wonderful little Lebanese restaurant. Falafels were excellent with hummus and tahini. You get four small balls of hummus with tahini drizzled on top and lettuce . Cheese pie was good, but lacking a lot of cheese inside the four fried cheese packets. Spinach pie was good too, also you get four small packets. Great price at $5 each appetizer. Owner came to our table twice and gave us a free hummus. Great service. You order at the counter and the food is brought to you. There were a couple of errors in taking the order, but no big deal. Restaurant was packed for lunch. There is outdoor seating, but in the summer it is too hot. The restaurant is right next door to Fernandez de Bull, another good restaurant. read more

Good food and mezze. The place is clean, the choice is large. This portions are super generous!!! They have a great Lebanese wine selection: Krefraya and Ksara from the Bekaa valley. I recommend the Reserve du couvent which is a very good one. The prices for the wines are a bit more expensive than the average. The good stuff is about the staff, very courteous, fast, clean (very important) and they are exceeding expectations in term of customer service.
