Used these guys for my move this week and was very pleased with their performance. They moved quickly and were finished within the 3 hours. The only thing I was not too happy about was the extra half-hour charge for travel time. My move locations were within 10 minutes from each other but because my movers turned into the wrong community, that added an extra 10 minutes to the drive. Regardless, they still charge for a minimum of 30 minutes in travel time. What I wasn't told is that they rack travel time ON TOP of your minimum 3 hour move time. Which means; if you a anticipate your move to take 3 hours or less, they will quote you for 3 hours and fail to mention this does not include travel time. ....hmmmm.... Long story short, my move cost me $275 not $225 as I was told. (Granted: this is only for 3 hours and a half). When my move was scheduled I asked several times if my quote was final and no hidden fees because I was certain it would not take more than 3 hours and I was guaranteed this price, UNLESS, it exceeded time or extra fees were required for special move accommodations, such as bubble wrap or anything of that sort. I highly recommend using another company. Please do yourself a favor and take you money somewhere else. All I can say is that the people who actually do the moving are wonderful. They work hard and do a good job, but they are underpaid and come close to begging for a tip after they move your things. In addition, once the things are off-loaded much of it is broken. In addition, the insurance they sell you is a scam. You will be jerked around and treated very poorly, and there will be a great deal of hiding behind small print. All of my things are in my home, but many of them are broken, and the mover's insurance policy they sell you is nothing but a scam. As such, you end up screwed twice. I chose Move 4 Less for my move from Las Vegas to Chicago because they had quoted me at the lowest price by FAR and I held my breath - I expected to sacrifice quality for price. I was surprised that they had such great service - Paul was super helpful it getting all my information. I wasn't able to let them into my house for an estimate (I had already moved out) but using a handy survey they were able to provide me with an accurate estimate. GREAT flexibility! On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time and did an AMAZING job wrapping everything and loading it on the truck. I even had some last minute additions that were taken care of with a phone call, and not that much more added to the bill. I ended up finding a place a month later than expected, and I was delighted to find out that Move 4 Less was able to store my stuff for a month while I looked for a better apartment! It was very easy changing it up and they were extremely flexible. Finally, delivery was just as smooth as the pickup. Everything got delivered without any damage and the movers even helped put some of the stuff back together. I found Move 4 Less through an online search. I was moving from Las Vegas to Durham, NC. The team in Vegas was fantastic! Everything from them conducting a survey of my items to provide an estimate, to packing up all my belongings, was simply fantastic. However, I was incredibly displeased with the team that delivered my items. Move 4 Less offered to store my items for one month, free of charge, in their storage unit and once the month was up they told me they'd call to see if I wanted to pay to keep the items in storage, or have them delivered. The only phone call I received was to tell me that they were in Tennessee and would be at my residence within two days. It was completely unprofessional and then they lied and said that they called everyone who had items on the truck. I only have one phone number and I never received a call or voicemail from them. They left me two days to come up with $750. It was absolutely ridiculous and was really sad that they tainted how I feel about the company because the Vegas team was awesome. read more

My furniture took 3 weeks to arrive. They had to store it before shipping it over. When I called they said: "We have 21 days to get it to you". OK... No problem. Then they called me the day before my furniture arrived and wanted to charge me an extra $900 to get another truck because the driver wasn't sure he could deliver to my street because it was a dead end street. Over 5k in damages after my move. Just got a call from Move4Less and they said I can file a claim for 60 cents per pound per item with a 3rd party company... meaning they can break all of your electronics and damage all of your furniture and maybe you will get a couple hundred for it after your claim. This review is based on an out-of-state move... M4L did a great job moving me from Vegas to San Diego!! M4L was by far the cheapest option--I moved from a 1BD apt on the 3rd floor in Vegas to a 1BD Apt on the 3rd floor in San Diego. OOS moves are a flat rate based on the weight of your items so my total was $1300 with M4L, compared to 2K+ for all other movers. PROs: 1. The quoted price didn't fluctuate AT ALL!! *A couple of reviews complaind about how the quoted price was different from their final price. Your quoted price will not change as long as you know EXACTLY what you want them to move. Over the phone, I mentioned every piece of furniture I could think of--the lady on the phone actually mentioned how detailed I was... Also, make sure you have them come to your house and view your items; that'll help them solidify the quote. 2. The movers were professional 3. All of my stuff arrived when they said it would CONs: 1. They chipped my entertainment system on the way up to my new apartment. *Granted, my e-system is the biggest system I've ever seen, so I wasn't shocked they were having a problem moving it to the 3rd floor; every mover I've ever had has struggled with my e-system. 2. Estimated delivery time for OOS moves Unfortunately, you're not guaranteed a specific day your items will arrive, as it depends on how many jobs they have in the state you're moving to. I was guaranteed my stuff would arrive in no more than 7 days after the move and they'd call me a day ahead of time to confirm. That being said, I asked the lady to help me choose the best move date so my stuff could arrive on the day I wanted it. She "estimated" perfectly and my stuff arrived the next day. Make sure you read what you're signing *The estimator saw two TVs in my house and although I told them (on the phone) that I was only moving one TV, the in-home estimator added 2 TVs to the quote and a bunch of extra boxes for the kitchen stuff he saw. I had him remove that as I was only moving 1 TV and most of the kitchen stuff was going in my car. 3. Do not have them (or any moving company) move something you'd consider extremely valuable 4. Make sure you check the inventory sheet and watch how they keep track of everything. Every item should have a ticket number on it... I'm probably what a company would call a hard-to-please, anal customer, as I ask an insane amount of questions, double check their work, and have high expectations--I WOULD 100% USE M4L FOR ANOTHER MOVE!! I was really apprehensive about using a moving company to move again because of my last experience with another well-known company in Las Vegas but Move 4 Less has restored my faith in moving companies with their professional and efficient work ethics. I called Chris Antonneau two days before I needed to move and he was able to get me the date and time I wanted to move with no hassles. It was a relief to talk to him after the other 4 companies I had talked to that day that made me feel like moving on the 1st was going to be a lost cause. Chris gave me a quote and a time under 5 minutes! The day of the move the driver called to let me know he was 30 minutes away and showed up 20 minutes later. He and his co-worker got to work right away after verifying the quote with me. They had our entire place packed and moved into our new him in 3.5 hours total. It was so easy and stress free, I couldn't believe it. They were both so friendly and accommodating that I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know that's moving. What was really great was that the quote was an inclusive rate. There were no "extra" fees for blankets, tape or boxes like I dealt with last time I moved. I got prices quoted and could have had next day service. We went with the following day. The movers showed up within the scheduled time. They were frendly, helpful, and despite our attempts to help they said we were their clients. It was hard sit back and watch the two men lifting our life into their huge truck. Where do I start. They broke my desk and didn't say anything, they just taped and thought I wouldn't see it. They left a whole closet of furniture. Every box was labeled what it was and where it went. We are still finding boxes for the kitchen in the garage. Heavy boxes on top of boxes clearly makes glass and fragile . They were so happy they finished early and saved us money. But they left furniture behind and just put things wherever they wanted. Also if you have paint in your garage they will not move it. The guys came out and wrapped all my furniture and pictures and lamps with quilts and took great care and were very professional. Great company! I was quoted for a three hour minimum with two guys plus the drive time. I received a call the day before with the time frame and the movers arrived promptly on my requested day. They packaged everything and disassembled everything that they needed to and reassembled in our new place. Everything was very well taken care of. Both men were very respectful and patient, and they are very knowledgeable. Our new place was substantially smaller and they made us aware of how the furniture wouldn't fit how we wanted it. They also moved things around after we had changed their mind. They were very quick! They stick to the three hours we were quoted, and they were able to throw a few more things in the truck that I hadn't added to my inventory and it wasn't a problem. The actual cost actually came in about $50 less than the total estimate, which was a nice surprise! They really made our move easy. I will use them again for sure. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that with anything, it wasn't perfect. But nothing worth complaining about. Knowing what I know now about this company, I will let them move all of our stuff next time! This moving company made my moving into a new home a nightmare! My husband and I hired a moving company to make moving easier since I just gave birth to our daughter via c-section. We carefully packed and marked all of the boxes specifically indicating where in the house everything needed to go. This moving company left the bulk of our belonging in the garage, stacking everything to the ceiling, and damaged many expensive pieces of furniture beyond repair. When I called to get a portion of my money returned for the horrible job, Elena said she wouldn't return my money, but would send movers back out to move things out of the garage where they needed to go, and we could file a claim for the damaged furniture. Move 4 Less was not a good experience for me. We had chosen the company because we had thought they would be cheaper than any other moving company, but they ended up costing about the same. They gave me a quote on how much it would be. Two weeks later they came to pack my stuff. However they didn't anticipate how many boxes I would have so then they said they'd have to charge me more money because of how much space I'd be taking in the truck (which made no sense because the shelf I decided to take to Chicago was half the size than the original shelf I wanted, and they didn't seem to take that into account). After we made a complaint, one of the movers decided to roll the chair into the empty space of the shelf so that it didn't take any space and so we didn't have to pay the extra money, but they wouldn't stack boxes in the same empty shelf space, even though it would basically save them twice the amount of space. A couple days before the moving day, the driver called me saying they won't be able to fit their truck through a bridge that's near my house, and because of that they charged an extra $200 from me to get a smaller truck. I told them that they would just have to find another way around because there are major streets all around me. I live next to SEVERAL major businesses, which no doubt get trucks to deliver their stuff too. The funny thing was was that they were not even at the city yet. He was calling me from a different state assuming the bridge was too small. So the morning of, he called me again and said they wouldn't be able to fit, and we were forced to pay another 200 dollars. The furniture was in okay shape. My air condition vent is now cracked in the bottom. It wasn't before. And there are some minor scratches on my new dresser. What's even funnier is that this morning I woke up to the sound of a big truck trying to back up. He seemed to make it to my complex just fine. read more

The one star is for the movers who packed my stuff up & delivered it three months later because they were efficient. Otherwise, I'd be giving negative stars. Let's start from the beginning. What they quote you is nowhere near what you will actually pay. I was also told that I only had to pay for the first month of storage up front & could pay the other two months when I paid for the drop off since it would only be two more months. The people in the office are rude & no help once you're done paying. I'm missing half of my large L shaped desk. They forgot one whole crate during initial drop off & had to go back to get the rest. On top of the inconvenience, I was still forced to pay the unloading time of that second trip. I was promised a refund if I contacted the customer service manager. I've called & left messages with no response. I didn't even get to finish my sentence before a rude man who answered just transferred me to someone's voicemail. One of my TVs is not working. I knew right away when I saw them unload the box that it had been through hell. Now that they've got my money for the shitty service, no one cares to talk to me. But they didn't hesitate to pick up the phone to call me when they wanted to collect my payment for storage that I was "late" on despite being told I didn't have to pay until my items were delivered. Save your sanity. I would've rather dish out more money for better service than the crap I'm dealing with. read more

Between work and life I needed to move but really had no time to pack myself or recruit help. Luckily I had money saved up so I could hire a mover. Initially when I sent in my request I was told it would be three guys and one truck, and would take from beginning to end about 3-4 hours. On move day only two guys showed up, but they were on time and were ready to get to work. They said it would take one hour. I had a car packed up, so I drove it to to the new place, unloaded, got an oil change (my light came on) and returned. To my surprise/annoyance, they really hadn't made a dent. I was leaving a small one bedroom apartment so I was expecting them to be nearly done by the time I got back. Yes, they were helping me pack which takes extra time, but this seemed like A LOT of extra time. I just started taking stuff to the trash trying to stay out of their way. Finally they were done packing and loading the van. I took a look, seemed like most things were fine. They did leave behind some odds and ends, I'm still not sure why they did like rugs, pillow from the couch they loaded up, jewelry...just a bunch of random stuff. But they were things I thought I could just pick up when I cleaned the apartment so I didn't make a big deal because we were running out of time. Finally we got to my new place. They said it would only take 30 minutes to unload. We were nearing the 4 hour mark so I wanted them to hustle. It ended up taking longer than 30 minutes because one guy unloaded the truck while the other fumbled with the billing calculations. I didn't realize until after they left they had broken my dustpan (no big deal), and my book shelf (really annoying). And I'm assuming it took them so long to pack up because they individually wrapped my spices (even the ones in plastic bottles) and silverware. That was really unnecessary and wasteful. I gave it an A-Ok, and not I've experienced better because I've never had to hire a mover. But this company seems to have pretty good reviews so maybe my experience was just a fluke. read more

They were prompt, friendly, efficient, and professional. Even when I noticed later in the day that a picture was missing, they called me right back when it was found. Today is 11/14/18, I am writing updates after 4 months. The company called and begged me to remove my last comment, and promised will give me a fair solution. Well, we received a letter from this company yesterday, they offered to compensate us with 0.6 dollar per pound of the items we lost, so total compensation is 180 dollars! Can you believe it? I lost so many stuffs, including expensive electronic to my memorable items, the company wants to step away and throw me 180 freaking dollars. I am sorry, I cant accept that. We are planning to use law to get our loss back, so any customer wants to get a quote from them, please think twice, they dont have any customer service at all. I hired this company to move me from Las Vegas NV to Dallas TX. They lost 13 out of twenty six boxes. They lost over 40 thousand dollars worth of designer shoes , they lost over 10 years collected designer bags n clothes . They lost my entire kitchen , my daughters entirely room is gone( bedding, clothing, stuff animals ), all my sculptures and art , vases , plants , all kitchen season, bedding, electronics (2 mac book air 2, virtual reality headset, Nintendo , Xbox , ten plus charges, headphones and flowers , skincare, and they delivered my bed with a missing legs so we could not fully assemble it , it's missing 2 /3 of bed. They informed me that perhaps they delivered it to the wrong house in a different state. These movers have stolen everything I own, and claim they don't know my boxes whereabouts. They refuse to give straightforward answers. They have done nothing . Currently in process of filing a police report. This just happened today. Pleaseeeeeee everyone do not use them they have stolen over 100,000 dollars worth of stuff and memories from me that I can never get back. Save yourself the headache n look elsewhere!!!!! read more

They were there on time and left exactly what was quoted for; along with providing an additional 16ft trailer to help transport my contents to my place, since my apartment complex had the pods dropped off at the other end on the complex. If there's a zero rating this is what I would give this company. We had a lot of damaged items ( our bed's foot pedestal on the footboard I are missing. The headboard's foot pedestal are there but the footboard's nowhere to be found. Plates and drinking glasses were broken. The glass of outer printer table is gone, again nowhere to be found. Our large decorative planter is broken. Our new refrigerator is dinged ). Missing boxes, missing attaché case. Opened boxes and bags. My clothes which was nicely packed in the new box were placed in a plastic garbage bag. I will never pack my clothes in a garbage bag. And we're finding more since we haven't seen and opened all our boxes. I will never recommend this company to family and friends. I hope they will replace this bed frame which is now non functional . Their handyman looked for the pedestal and can't find them. All our 3 beds were just placed in one room not assembled and my China cabinet was likewise not assembled . So frustrating. read more

Incredibly frustrating experience. The movers themselves were very professional but the company nickel and dimes everywhere they can. The initial estimate was done poorly (or intentionally low balled to show a lower price) so when they arrive they say they need to use many more boxes and packing material than was originally outlined. For example they wanted to charge me an additional $150 for an extra roll of shrink wrap! The only reason they get two stars is for the movers themselves. Great guys and totally professional; if they had a management team that was as concerned with quality customer service as their movers were it would be a great company. read more

Move4Less did a move from Las Vegas to California for my elderly mother. Their price was very competitive (about $2,000 less than the other 2 quotes we got). Their movers were very friendly, fast, careful and professional. In particular, Audrius and Cesar went above and beyond duty and were EXCEPTIONAL. They also assembled the beds nicely and even built a shelving unit. Give those guys raises! (We have not yet finished unpacking all the boxes but so far there was just 1 small casualty of a photo frame that broke, everything else was intact and very carefully wrapped.) Audrius was so polite and respectful and could not have done a better job, and so was Cesar. We are very happy that we chose Move4Less and highly recommend this company. :) read more

I had an incredibly smooth move. I was moving my mom into senior living and Juan and his partner were amazing! They were very professional and really knew how to maneuver and move furniture. I feel no time was wasted. They had to hand truck my Mom's things to her building and the two of them were very efficient. The quote they gave me was very close to the final price. You know ... My rating is more like 2.5-ish. I chose these guys because of their high yelp rating. Clearly I wasn't part of the cool kids club offering up 5 stars. My former movers had to move my scheduled move so I was in a bind and Chris was available to help me. The estimate provided (while on the pricier side) was straight forward after reading the fine print. Everything seemed fine ... dispatcher called and said they would be there between 1 and 2. I told him I had originally planned it for 9-10 start time with Chris he told me that time was book ed and this is what they could offer. No big deal ... I understand this is on the fly and I appreciated them being able to schedule me at all. Now come the day of ... One of their movers calls me (he was professional) and says his morning move was canceled and he was heading over -- its just after 9am. I tell him that I had not planned on them being there until 1 at the earliest and I made a morning meeting but could be there closer to 11. He told me to just call the office then because he can't wait that long. So ... I call the office and tell them that won't work because I won't be there til closer to 11 as I wasn't expecting them til 1 as dispatched. The guy on the phone had the nerve to tell me that's the dispatcher gives tentative times as he can't please everyone's schedule. So I tell him well earliest I can do is 11. He says fine we'll send a different crew at noon. Sweet deal I will be there. Noon ... NO movers. 12:30 I call and the guy from earlier tells me he will find out where crew #?? is and call me right back. 12:50 - Me calling again and I get Chris (I think sweet - This guy will care he's my sales guy) well let me tell you ... Sale stopped after I have my credit card number. He basically is like well you couldn't accommodate the schedule given so today so you have to wait. I tried to explain what happen (from the morning) and he cut me off telling me "They're on their way." Then this booger ... HUNG UP ON ME!! Anyhow, 3 (Shawn, Liddel and Ricky) movers come and they are hustling - So all the timing issues are out the window because I am so impressed with these guys. But then progress starts slowing down as they approach the hour mark. Now I can only see two (Liddel and Ricky) movers hauling ass ... But the 3rd guy is missing. Now I can hear the quiet rumble (outdoors) of movers holding each other accountable for hauling ass and getting this done. All the stuff is packed and we are on our way to the new house. We supposedly left the same time - Now I understand their truck might be slower than my Honda - but come on ... almost an hour drive time?! That you pay for double?! It took me 20 minutes?! So I get past that because I just want this to be over with. Now the guys are tired - I see it on their faces. I hear them talking about how many hours a day they work. I feel bad so I tell them no worries just toss it here and there. Dude ... the hustle was real. Straight up they were moving at double time speed. Well 2/3 of them are. Legit - Liddel and Ricky are hauling butt yet being so careful. The other guy is keeping a steady pace. I assume he is the supervisor or something he had that air about him - Plus he had the official clipboard. So, the last is finished. Time to pay up. I offer my cc, sign away the contract times. Gripe about the double drive time. Offer the guys beverages and thank them for their services. Liddel and Ricky are thanking me for choosing Move 4 Less; making sure I don't need help with anything additional as they finished closing the truck up. They wish me well and are on their way. Short story long would I recommend Move 4 Less or use them again ... I don't know. I certainly wouldn't work with Chris as my sales guy. I would definitely request Liddel and Ricky as my movers. I would maybe try to negotiate the price a little bit more. read more
