As with almost any move, the stress and time constraints can make you uneasy. Moving 4 Less, took that away for me. Specifically, Ivan and Nico! 100% professional. They were great, from start to finish. Had to go through my things in storage, they were patient, asked questions, and incredibly helpful. The move was quick and easy. I definitely didn't have a straight shot to my house and live on 2nd story with an L shape staircase. It couldn't have been easy moving things in this Vegas heat, but they never slowed down. My family and I have used this company since we moved to Las Vegas and we have been satisfied customers. However, my last experience with this company was not a good experience. The driver in the moving truck, hit my parked Jeep as he pulled out of the driveway of the house I was moving from, damaging the lift gate I had open as I was loading things in the back of the Jeep. I heard the impact but I did not see it. By the time I made it out the door to see what the sound was the moving truck was at the end of the block and I wasn't sure what caused the sound. I prepared to follow them right away, as I had to be at the first stop, which was the storage facility, to give the movers access. I went to shut the lift gate and it would not close. At that moment I did not realize why the gate would not completely close. I contacted the driver and told him I was having trouble closing the gate and I would meet him at the storage as soon as possible. He did not bother to tell me he hit the gate and that might be why it wouldn't close. I roped the gate down with a telephone cord and did not realize why it would not close until we reached the new house and my son pointed it out to me. the edge of the gate on the right side, driver's side, was caved completely in preventing it from completely closing. I immediately realized what the sound was I heard and I confronted the driver. Of course he says he did not hit the car but the gate is up high, and the way it was caved it shows it was hit by something high off the ground and heavy. I took pictures, contacted the dispatcher, emailed her the pictures, and never heard anything about what happened. I have emailed the contact person and still have not heard from the company regarding the damage to our Jeep. Part of being a good service provider is to take responsibility for wrongs committed against paying customers. The driver knows he damaged our parked Jeep. Ignoring me isn't going to solve anything. I just think this is something that should be known as our Jeep remains damaged and there has been no attempt by this company to resolve this situation. read more

They will out-bid the competition and later surprise you with a "Travel" charge of an hour or more even though your estimate included a 45-minute drive time at no cost. Could never recommend this business. Move seemed to be going well until they dropped my power reclining loveseat off the back of the truck. I happened to be standing there and saw it happen. They continued to load my belongings. When we got to my destination, I tried the one side of the loveseat and it would not recline properly. I pointed this out to the driver and he and his helper turned the loveseat over and agreed two legs were broken off. They claimed they were taking pictures for their boss and they would probably contact the manufacturer to see if they could order replacement parts. On to claim, driver didn't have any pictures. My fault for being gullible enough to believe what I thought were decent people. I have now been offered $60.00 to figure out what to do with my recliner that doesn't operate correctly on one side. I could NOT have been happier with my recent move with Move 4 Less. Chris was in constant communication with me to set up and plan the move. We did a video call to check how much stuff I was moving, and that call saved me about $400, as my initial guess on how much stuff I was moving was a little high. Noel and Hector moved me from an LA beach community to Las Vegas/Summerlin in an incredible time! They showed up promptly at 7 a..m., attacked the stuff to be loaded onto the truck like a couple of hungry piranhas and -- amazingly -- had the truck unloaded in Las Vegas/Summerlin and were on their way by 2 p.m. I expected it to be delivered the next day, but these guys had it here by early afternoon! My friends were amazed that they were able to do it so fast (me, too!). Before you think "but I bet they were sloppy," after 2 days of unpacking, I have YET to find anything that was broken or remotely damaged in any way. They were incredibly professional and handled everything with care. I'm hoping that my new condo is where I will retire, so no moves planned any time soon, but, if I do move, I will not hesitate to use Move 4 Less. BTW, did I mention that their price was less than HALF of the quotes that I got from other moving companies? I recommend them 110%! read more

I placed a review previously for Move 4 Less. The Company is now saying I am lying. The customer Service person Anna, was to call me back by 12:00 today, heard nothing. I contacated them and she is now telling me someone else will call me by end of business day by the name of Eric. I have been told the company is just looking to book a job to meet quotas, they are not concerned that they are provinding quotes that are not reasonable. This comes from a previous employee of the company who says this is a common practice. So no only will I file a BBB Complaint, I will be filing a Elder Abuse Claim as well. read more

We hired Move for less to move us from Las Vegas to Peoria . They were very good, they were on time and very professional. We were very impressed with everyone, especially Bo and Rueben. They arrived in Peoria AZ about 1130 am and went right to work, it was very warm 112 in Peoria that day. Bo and Rueben had everything unloaded in a timely matter. They were awesome, you could tell that they were very warm and hot due to the heat, but they just kept working. Management posted a response to the previous review asking if we could contact them and discuss what happened. I had to call them because they didn't either want to reach out or didn't care enough about their customers. Although the Sales Manager listened to our experience he stated there was nothing he could do and was going to pass the information to the Operations Manager and maybe he could do something. His best idea was we could file a claim through the insurance included as part of the move. There was never a call from the Operations Manager and nothing was ever done to address the damages caused by Move 4 Less. No follow through trying to make a negative customer experience better. Many businesses currently respond to social media posts and present a customer centric image. The response to our poor experience was just that - empty. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! 0 stars. Horrible experience. I was quoted for a 5 hour move that turned into 11 hours. 50% of the furniture that was disassembled wasn't even put back together and it still took double the time I was quoted. I understand it was just an estimate but it shouldn't be double the time quoted. When you make your appointment they take an inventory of what will be moved so why even ask what is going to be moved if you can't calculate the move correctly. I also had damage on 50% of the furniture that was moved. Scratches and severe chips. They also drilled a hole all the way thru my dresser mirror when they were attaching it to the dresser, I called to see what can be done about my experience. I spoke to Harold (manager), who said there is nothing he could do for me. This company has zero customer service. Worst experience ever. read more

We found Move 4 Less on Yelp. Thank you yelpers for finding us a quick and inexpensive option to moving our entire 30'x10' storage unit ourselves. We were procrastinating moving our stuff out of storage because we didn't want to move everything up and down the stairs. So we finally decided to get a moving company. I've moved around a lot and movers seem to be just a few min late but these guys were 10 min early. Unbelievable. They had their game plan and knew how to execute it well. ******BEWARE***** I wrote a review of the service provided to me by this company earlier today. Megan reached out to me and offered me a 100.00 customer "something" to help make this entire moving experience better. I explained that I did not want the 100.00 they offered, simply because that is an insult! The service they provided was insufficient, lacked professionalism and honesty. From Estimator Eric stating verbally to both my husband and myself we would receive our furniture next day.. (7 days later) To Donavan for his lack of professionalism concerning scheduling, apparently they,( move for less) decided a Thursday delivery was just what I wanted and for NOT calling me back. And further educating me in regards to what Move for less' policy is for disgruntled customers regarding delivery. They stand behind the 7 day policy for delivery, no matter what they tell you. Its stated on the contract. That was Donavans recourse. BEWARE OF THIS! Read the contract, don't listen to the salesman, they will tell you just what you want to hear. To the mess they left my rental with all the empty rolls of tape strewn all over the house, to broken glass, the wheel of my bedframe in the front yard, and a van full of items Move for less decided NOT to pack on the truck? To the worker I believe named Miguel who came to repair the damaged door on my rental shed, and yes Megan, Donavan was prompt in sending the worker to repair the door of my shed. After which he knocked on my door to say he had fixed the damage, of which I asked him to kindly pick up all the trash, broken glass and misc items left behind by their movers. He had NO intention of cleaning up, even though I believe Donavan advised him to do so. And furthermore according to Megan, Move for less offering me 100.00 to cover the cost of my broken microwave was far exceeding their duty, as I didn't purchase insurance to cover the damages done by their less than professional movers. Didn't think I needed it. This was move for less' response to my complaint, sending Megan out to make me look like NOTHING would ever please me, the company is not liable, Iam just one of those people you can't please. Couldn't be further from the truth. Truth is, I was expecting professional movers. This was my first and last experience with movers. I will do it myself. Please take my advice... I unfortunately did not have the luxury of checking Yelp prior to hiring this company. I absolutely had to move on a certain day, and when that day came, all my friends either canceled or were called into work. At that point, I figured I'd just suck it up and hire movers. So I started browsing Craigslist, and Move4Less was the only company available same-day. The price was higher than most of the other companies listed, but it still wasn't terrible ($73 an hour, minimum 3 hours) for two guys and a truck. In my phone calls, I discovered that most companies charging like $40-$50 an hour for moving will make you drive the truck yourself (so they don't have to insure anything) - that's how they cut costs. So I made sure that Move4Less would do everything; bring the stuff from the apartment to the truck, pack it, load it, drive it, and unload it at the new place. It was 10am, so I scheduled the pickup for between 2 and 3. I was told I'd get a call half an hour before. The call came at 12:50 and was told they'd be there in 20 minutes. The dispatcher told the drivers the pickup was between 1 and 3, so nice little bit of confusion there. I had them grab a bunch of furniture and boxes, and while it seemed like it was taking a while, in reality, they emptied the entire 1 bedroom apartment in about 90 minutes (30 minutes less than they had originally estimated). Can't complain about that. After a short drive to the new house (a single family, single story home), they had the truck empty in about half an hour. I didn't pay attention to the drive time (for which they charge double), but the mover actually waived that. I was also not charged for any "packing supplies": They had to saran wrap a dresser I had to make sure the drawers wouldn't pop open, so that probably could have been an extra couple of dollars. All in all, I was charged for the original quote of three hours, for a total of $219. They probably could have made another hour + a couple of bucks off me if they had gone the nickle and dime route, but they didn't, and I appreciated that. After the move, I hopped online and saw the horror stories from these other patrons. I honestly did not have a single major issue other than the original scheduling, and the fact that they charge more/have a higher minimum number of hours required than other moving companies. Maybe it was because my move was far shorter than any of the other posters (maybe 15 minutes away), or maybe it was because I didn't have a whole ton of stuff to begin with, but this really was about as smooth and painless as possible. read more

Solid moving company. I recently moved from Henderson to SW side of town and hired Move 4 Less for the afternoon. Now, come on, no one likes moving. The packing, the lifting, the unpacking. It's just a pain and annoyance. Move 4 Less made that as painless as possible for me and saved me the most money. I made several quotes around town with different moving companies and ultimately decided on Move 4 Less. The day of my move, the movers were very prompt and professional. After the walk through of my old apartment and rehashing the payment and rates, they were off. They saran wrapped and boxed a few things for me. At the end of the day, yes, there were a few scratches, scrapes and chips off my furniture but it was nothing major. And you can't expect moving a clunky desk to go seemlessly and without a hitch everytime. I would recommend them to anyone moving in the LV area and will most likely use them again. But please, for my sake, hope that I don't have to move again for quite some time! read more

This has been a NIGHTMARE move. Not only did they break a lot of things (computer monitor, mirror, printer) they LOST a lot of things. As I finish up unpacking the stuff that did make it to my house, it angers me that the response from Move4less about my missing items has been lack luster at best. As the month ends I've rcvd only 2 emails in response to my emails looking for my lost items and in the 2nd one they asked ME if I had found someones box of diplomas and certifications which may have been delivered to me! Why can't they keep track of peoples things? Isn't that part of the service? The problem is - they hire another company to make their long distance moves. The truck that picks up your items IS NOT the truck that delivers them. They take your stuff back to a warehouse, unload the truck, and wait to have a full load going in your direction. At that point they reload your items onto the new truck, and new COMPANY makes the delivery. They say they use a "Bingo" system to make sure all items get reloaded and are tagged so that they can tell by the color of your tag which load it belongs to which customer. The problem is, somewhere along the way other peoples items get mixed in with yours. And your items get mixed in with other peoples. I know for a FACT they repacked some of my items into large wardrobe boxes. They didn't charge me for that, but i guess it was easier for them to load and ship. When they originally picked up my items I noticed them doing this, and that was fine. But when things were delivered I saw there were WAY more wardrobe boxes then before. I figure that once it got to the warehouse someone decided there were too many lose items and small boxes and they consolidated them into large wardrobe boxes. Make sure that you keep all your paperwork! If you read my other review you will see that I had to force the movers to slow down and let me check off boxes on my inventory sheet. They kept bringing things in and i tried my best to keep up, but at the end there were still unchecked items. I should have raised hell then and made them go back to their warehouse or call earlier deliveries. Don't let them push you into signing off on ANYTHING. Oh and the insurance is a scam. I almost brought the extended insurance. I even had the van driver write it up UNTIL I read the fine print. You have to lose / have damages of over $1000 worth of items before the extended insurance kicks in. So I said to him, if you guys only damage $500 worth of items, what happens. He told me the original insurance is in play at that point. Not until the minimum deductible of $1000 is met will the extra insurance kick in. And while I'm missing a lot of things, some of it is priceless (bills, credit card statements, w -2 statements) I don't think it would quite make it to $1000, probably closer to $850 . So in my case I don't think the extended insurance would have helped me. I'm still waiting for Move 4 Less to send me my documents I need to file a claim. The woman in charge of this doesn't seem to be taking me very seriously. So I'm on here with this plea: If you had a move in December from Las Vegas to Houston and have items that don't belong to you PLEASE call Move4Less. For the people with the box of paperwork, don't even THINK of setting up credit accounts with the info in those documents! I have credit guard and added Credit FREEZE to my account. So without a password and PAYING to unlock my credit you will get NOTHING! So why not just give it back? The people w/ my printer and leaf blower, come on, have a heart and give them back! They only give you pennies for your lost items! They guys with my blue luggage, a lot of the clothes in there are fairly new. Its my winter wardrobe which doesn't get a lot of use while in Vegas, but I sure could use them here in Houston! So PLEASE call Move4Less and have them pick up the items. Also if anyone has that poor guys box of diplomas and certificates come on! He worked hard for those. Call Move 4 Less and give them back! I know its a pain, you didn't steal them, you just got them dumped on you by incompetent movers. But while they mean nothing to you, they are priceless possessions to someone else. For local moves, Move4Less was fine. But this move has changed the way I view them. They have been pretty unresponsive about getting me my stuff and /or sending me the paperwork to put in a claim. I can't recommend them anymore. For anyone doing a long distance move. ONLY work with a company like Allied. The people that pick up your belongs are the same ones that drop it off. Your items never leave the truck that picks them up until they are on your doorstep. I've used Allied b4 and they were great! I only went with Move4less because they could pick up on a Sunday and I really hadn't had a bad experience when doing a local move. Allied had a HUGE fee for pick ups with less than 7 days notice. read more

Worst experience i have ever had. It started with the estimator coming to my house. I was told one price and that everything was included except my custom TV box which i agreed to. He walked through my whole house and saw everything that needed to go. I was quoted an estimated price and i agreed. The. The movers get there. The second they arrive they started smoking right outside. Then they come in and complain about everything. They complained about the stairs and Jow many items j had. They complained they didn't have enough people. The entire move was stressful. The worst part was after the first truck load (two were needed) they said they wanted to stop and were not going to finish and we're going to leave me hanging. I called the main office and luckily they talked them into staying. After everything was done it ended up being 3x more then what they quoted me and they also added $300 in materials in which i was told was included. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! read more

Moving 4 Less helps us relocating from Las Vegas to Tampa area at the end last year. Their service is great and very customer focused. Because they have their storage places, they offered us several weeks of free storage of our furniture. Relocating for one state to another state is a great job, so planning ahead and take essential stuff in the car, then let Moving 4 less take care of the rest. Ok... 1st the negative because the positive outweighs the negative by a landslide. They were supposed to be at my residence at 8a.m. but did not show up until 9:35a.m. & the move started at 9:45a.m. Now, the positive. I moved from 2 different locations. They were super efficient in getting the first stop packed into the truck... 30 minutes from a second story apartment! It took 30 minutes to drive to the second stop but they got there. They did their very best to get everything out in a timely manner... an hour & a half. What slowed them down was because they had to fight steep stairs & a 3rd floor apartment. Another 30 minute drive to the drop off location & they continued to keep up the steady pace. They had everything in the house & ready to be unpacked in about an hour. All & all, I was super impressed with their work ethic & their diligence to get everything out & moved in a 4 hour period of time. Well worth the money spent on their service. read more
