We had a great experience with the move. Good estimate, hard working, seemed to know what they were doing. Unfortunately, the boxes we marked with "FRAGILE" stickers and put "GLASSWARE" on the box in bold marker ended up with broken glass in them. Since some of the glassware had sentimental value, we packed the boxes very carefully with plenty of padding. The only way they the glassware could have broken is if the boxes were dropped from a significant height. All of our 30-year-old Champaign glasses, which were a house warming gift for my wife and I when we bought our first house, were broken. The top on our bedroom dresser is also separated from the rest of the dresser and one of the drawers doesn't open or close correctly. Very reliable and professional! Moving is very stressful but they made whole process a bit easier. We had a FaceTime call so they can give a quote. The quote was e-mailed to me and I e-signed and sent it back. We got a quote for 5 hours and 45 min with a 3 man crew and $150 for moving supplies that we ended up not needing. We had 2 stops... storage then our new place. They arrived on time and it was nice they called us when they were on their way. The crew was very nice and the move went smoothly. The quote was spot on. It took them the exact time we were quoted and nothing was damaged. We weren't charged for the moving supplies that we didn't used. Was quoted 576$ for a move. They moved all my stuff and decided to ask for payment before finishing unloading. That 576$ turned into 900$ because " you had more than 15 boxes from your apartment and 15 boxes from your 10x10 storage unit and you pay the travel time from when we leave the warehouse" I went from a 1100sqft 2/2 to 1400sqft 2/2 how would I EVER say I only had 30 boxes?! They then held my stuff hostage until i I paid that 900$ in full. They had my military awards, half my bed frame, boxes of collectibles worth thousands (that were conveniently labeled with the exact contents so they KNEW they were valuable, 2 couches, an entertainment center, my fathers chest from the Holocaust/WW2, and boxes. At least 1/3 of the truck. They stacked heavy on light items marked fragile and ruined my new dining room table. Boxes are destroyed along with God only knows how much broken stuff. They claim that they will call Monday to discuss the fact that I was quoted wrong which they admitted, but I won't hold my breath. It's fantastic to know they treat 100% disabled veterans like this and basically bait and switch when I'm in a position where I can't physically move myself anymore. Also they decided they'd blow up my master bathroom without even asking if they could use it first, just took a massive dump and left it disgusting. It was to move items from a small 10 x 10 storage.. they ruined 2 of my new filing cabinets that cost $115 each.. they wanted to compensate me with $45 ..The problem is the sales person doesn't explain their service very well.. They did not explain I could choose an insurance..also they didn't explain that they start charging their time fronm the time their truck leaves their location not from the time they arrive at my location- storage..extra cost.. it would all be fine if their sales person had explained all this but they did not.. and I called twice to get explanation on how there services work.. at no time did they mention the insurance nor the extra travel time charge.. shame on them for not being transparent in doing business.. just terrible and deceitful.. should have sales people explain everything correctly cost me so much not worth it read more

Maggie was great, she was able to come out same day to get us an estimate and we were able to get the move scheduled for two days later. Stay away. They send you extremely questionable movers. They sent a guy named Michael who brought his wife to the job. I parked my moving vehicle at a spot where I wanted my stuff brought on the dolly- well Michael insisted he could get it closer. He actually HIT THE PILLAR to my building with the moving truck and then ASKED ME TO LIE AND SAY I DID IT because he said, "my license isn't good." Then he tried to dodge the building security so he wouldn't have to provide his ID. SMH. So to the actual, horrible move continued. He said his wife was a worker, but the first half of the time she just sat around looking at my stuff and paintings and asking questions. I was concerned about my property. They both continued to take off their mask even when I said I didn't feel safe and the building requires masks in public spaces. Finally, she started helping and DRAGGED my drawers across the floor damaging the bottom wood. I knew it was his wife because she said it multiple times. Who brings their spouse to work? Well, I guess they thought they would try some extra scam by bringing her because he said she would stay for $600. WTF? She was dead weight - her name was Anja, I think. When Michael needed to move my couch, he started unscrewing the door and when it was time to leave he could NOT get the door back in place properly. He never needed to unscrew it. He did it without asking when i was not present to see. The door was literally falling. I told him that I would call the company. He started threatening me and saying don't call because he has kids. That's why i waited a month because he kept repeating that he knew where i lived and where my stuff was stored!!!! He said he would come back and fix the damages. He never did. These movers pulled my WHITE couch and dragged it on the floor. I'll need to get all of my furniture re-cleaned, this is absolutely horrible. This was the worse experience ever. NEVER AGAIN! They overcharged our card without asking permission and never gave the money back. They damaged our wall and broke our $400 quad stroller. They were so lazy and waisted a lot of time so that they could get paid more. After calling them about over charging our card and the workers sitting around not working, they refused to refund us the money they stole and did not do anything about their workers being lazy. The workers were speaking Spanish to each other and didn't know that I know Spanish and that I heard them talking bad about me and my family. The estimator was very friendly and packing and pickup was prompt. Then came the problems. It was discovered not all boxes were given QR codes and therefore not included in my inventory, 2nd It took 6 weeks after I told them to move out of storage to bring my shipment to San Marcos. When it arrived only half of my sectional there and at least 1 box they packed was missing. It had not received a QR codes. They stated they couldn't find the box. Did someone take it home. I will never know now. Another 6 weeks to get that delivered even tho it was promised "next week" several times. The owner manager would never talk to me and discuss the issues. I am so thoroughly disappointed with this moving company in their lack of accountability and customer service. I request a quote a month ago and booked my move about a week later, leaving roughly 1 month before our scheduled move. I had emailed back and forth with the sales person who agreed to make an exception to their evening moving by scheduling our move at 4pm without charging us the 5 hour minimum (our move just isn't that big). Everything was documented through the emails. However, today (the day before the move) I was contacted with our mover arrival window between 12-3pm. I am a teacher and had planned the move at 4pm to allow me to still work (not needing to take time off or find a substitute) and this was not what I had arranged. As I tried to explain everything, the representative offered no solutions. When I asked if I could have an except made because of their error and have the movers arrive at the end of the window (3pm), the representative stated that wasn't possible. There was no way for me to find a substitute for my classes on such short notice nor should I have needed to when this was an error of the company's fault for promising something they had no intention of following through with. I asked to speak to the manager and was cold-transferred over to him. I had to explain everything all over again and the manager stated there was nothing they could do because this was not their fault. He then went on to explain that he could see all my emails with the sales rep, but that she did not include any of it in the case notes only confirming this was, in fact, their fault. He refused to provide any solutions and when I asked again about having the movers arrive at 3pm, he stated that he would not allow his movers to just stand around for 3 hours because I wasn't available until then. I explained to him that I'm only not available because no one told me I needed to be since I was told the move was scheduled for 4pm. Now, the day before, I am unable to make the arrangements for my students to have a substitute and none of this was my fault. He still refused to provide any solution to rectify their failure. I asked if since now I would need to miss work to solve their error he could at least give me a discount and he refused again stating they already quoted me with their highest 10% discount and he could not offer more. Again, so frustrated by his lack of customer service to solve their error, I was pleading with him at this point to provide a solution. His only offer was to put our move in the 2-5pm timeslot that may only be available if they have movers to do it. When I asked when he would know if they are available, he said it wouldn't be until the afternoon of the scheduled move. Growing beyond frustrated at this point, I asked what would happen if they aren't available during that timeslot and he said they would reschedule my move to the following day between 12-3pm. I clarified what he was saying because it didn't sound like any solution at all. I would have to leave work early tomorrow in hopes movers were available only to possibly find out they weren't and then be left with same issue the next day of having less than 24 hours to request more time off and find a substitute last minute. How is that a solution? And why am I the one standing around waiting for their movers, but he refused to let his movers wait for me? THIS WAS THEIR ERROR! I have over 200 students counting on me and he's more concerned about 3 movers possibly waiting a few hours because they made the error. Stop it right now! When I tried to make sense of it with him, he stated flatly that all he can do is move me to the 2-5pm timeslot and hope some movers are available. It was OBVIOUS at this point he didn't value my business or care to make right what they had so badly messed up and so I canceled my move with them. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. If you care about your furniture, do NOT use Move 4 Less. We tried to talk to them about our issues, but they refused to acknowledge the terms in their own contract. They damaged almost every piece of furniture that we had in our move: - Huge gouge across the top of a vintage family heirloom table - Major puncture through the leather in our couch - Chipped corners and edges on vanity - Punctures through dining chairs - 90% of the rest of the furniture had scratches all over it. I noticed when they got to my new home they had an entire stack of moving blankets in the truck. However, they did NOT use even a single one! They then proceeded to rush as quickly as possible carrying multiple pieces of furniture at once. At one point, he carried my vintage table above his head while carrying a dining chair at the same time. Guess what, both of those pieces ended up being damaged, among the doorways in my new home as well. The kicker is that they have a three hour minimum (which makes sense for a moving company), but instead of actually taking 3 hours for the move, they rush as quickly as possible. They completed our move in under 3 hours, including drive time, but still overcharged us for the total estimate of 5 hours despite all the damage. Then they can go do another job and rush through that one while getting paid for both. Their only job is to move things from point A to point B with damage, so why not just use the time that we are paying for to complete the move safely? Trust me, do not use this company. Choosing this moving company was the absolute worst decision I've ever made. Not only were they difficult to work with, impossible to contact, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional, they also treated my belongings like trash. EVERY piece of my furniture was broken or damaged. Glasses, dishes, and my cherished Christmas decorations were broken and completely destroyed. I was given a large box of someone else's belongings. I called repeatedly in order to return it to the rightful owner, no response from the company. I tried repeatedly to contact customer service to file a claim for my broken bag damaged property, but I was never able to reach anyone. I received a voicemail one time from the claims representative, but the number she left to return her call did not work. My father and I both called every day for two weeks to reach someone, and not once did anyone pick up or return a call. This is by far the WORST company. Price was reasonable. The staff was responsive to our needs and moving date. The moving crew was quick and efficient loading the truck. At our new home, the unload crew knocked over two stacks of our belonings in the truck. They destroyed a large Scandanavian design file cabinet and tall shelving unit, several boxes that contained well packed framed art work, along with scratching the paint on the front door of the house. We did not buy the upgraded insurance. They didnt pay for $2000.00 worth of damage. Worst part was the unload crew hid some of the damaged items behind other unloaded items and we did not discover the damage office furniture for days. You decide. Truly an awful experience that left a bad taste in my mouth and dents in my floor. Literally. Due to an emergency I had a last-minute move and I was grateful that move 4 Less was able to step up and take my move. I moved into a three-story house. But the easy part- is that my stuff was already moved into the garage by myself and my friends - they just had to bring it into the house!! The The two men that came to move me loaned and complained the entire duration that they were working in my house. With every step, they commented how they hate steps. They whined that the boxes were too heavy, EVERYTIME they lifted a box. They consistently brought up how they would not do this job if it wasn't for the tips, and how they expected to be tipped because I had so many stairs in my house. I'm sorry but if you hate lifting heavy things up stairs, WHY ARE YOU A MOVER? Maybe you should get a different occupation. I was helping them bring things into the house. I heard a big crash and when I went to see what it was there was a dent in my wall. The mover really looked me in the face and tried to tell me that he did not cause the dent in the wall by dropping my furniture. Two minutes later in the same exact spot, around the same turn, he dropped another piece of furniture - but this time it was right in front of me. They also dropped a piece of furniture on my stairs and chipped the stairs- in a brand new house that I was renting. I texted with the company afterwards because they claim to be licensed bonded and insured, and I asked them what they planned to do about this since I would be charged. They sent someone over to PAINT WOOD STAIN On the stairs instead of doing anything to fix the chip. When I asked him how this would possibly help the crack that they put in my stairs he shrugged and said that the stair needed to be replaced. Oh really? I thought that's why you were sent here. What a waste of mNever again will I ever use this service nor would I ever recommend it. Certainly not going to write the review when I still live in the house and they know where I live LOL. After leaving several chips on my wall and on the stairs, all they did was come and put wood stain on it. They didn't fix anything. Not fooling anyone. We hired them to move us from Henderson, NV, to Gilbert, AZ. I was suspicious from day one when the estimator appeared to give us a "binding estimate" but merely glanced at any of our belongings. He came up with a written estimate that was low by 30% and every time we turned around they were demanding more money. They put a refrigerator on top of a cardboard box that was marked fragile. They broke the legs off an antique desk and patched them up with duct tape. Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice? They broke, damaged, or lost 80% of our belongings. They even broke a bowling ball! I don't like to have to write this review, because the foreman for our move was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately the moving experience with the rest of his crew was so bad that other consumers have to be made aware. We purchased a "full move" which included packing. In short, the service was disastrous. Our possessions were treated with total carelessness. Objects appeared to have been simply thrown into wardrobe boxes - heavy objects were stacked five feet deep on top of glassware, keepsakes, books. Expensive heels were broken, mashed out of shape. Books were folded, bent, dogeared. Clothes were shredded by the hangars and sharp objects that tore at them during packing and transit. There was no attempt to apply the least organization of course, and so unpacking has been a dispiriting headache of continually discovering new valued possessions thoughtlessly destroyed. At some point during the move, they gave up on taking boxes and items where we'd told them to, and simply dropped them where convenient. There was no display of professionalism or even common sense in the crew's ability to move furniture. Several pieces weren't wrapped and got badly stained. Many pieces suffered obvious, major bump damage, as did our newly-painted walls. They broke one of our folding deck chairs and inexplicably disassembled others. I watched in disbelief as a mover dragged our prized living room credenza on its side across the street pavement, utterly destroying its beautiful finish and tearing long splintered gouges across its surface. Only minutes later, he intentionally dropped (in order to take a rest) a large mirror onto tile, shattering it. To add literal injury to insult, their cleanup effort was subpar, and we've been picking glass shards out of the tile and our of our feet for a week. We assumed that we would be covered for all of this damage, but their insurer provides only $0.60 per *pound* of damaged items. The sum be received for several pieces of irrecoverably destroyed furniture barely sufficed to replace the mirror. No one should do business with these movers. read more

On September 30, 2021, the company's delivery truck illegally trespassed on my front yard and damaged my front yard synthetic turf and my front steps. The driver of the truck, Sergio Salgado, committed hit and run without stopping and left the scene. The trucking company's claim handler, Iris Amaya, after initially reply a few email, dragged out the response beyond 3 weeks and stopped communication and did not provide the insurance information. A police report has since been filed, event number LLV211000001257. A SR-1 form with DMV has been filed to notify DMV of the hit and run case. The company is violating NRS 484E.030 Duty to give information and render aid. The company, till today, 28 days after the incident, has not provided vehicle insurance information to the affected party. I hearby request that the vehicle insurance information to be provided without further delay. read more

My review for this company is a long time in coming, and a lot of the delay was not wanting to revisit the sheer heartbreak I experienced. I paid them to pack my things. They sent three men the day before the move. I can't be in three places at once, and was not able to supervise all of them simultaneously in a two-story house. One of them was just a kid, and I didn't realize until too late that he had no clue how to pack fragile items. So much of what they broke was expensive stuff, but even what wasn't came from my grandmother and mother, and held great sentimental value. This company destroyed my memories. I even paid for the extra insurance, but when it got down to trying to fill out their complicated form, it was ridiculous. How can you estimate the purchase date and cost of items that were handed down through the generations? How can you list the value of a unique 3-D sculptured coffee mug from the trip of a lifetime to Croatia and Eastern Europe? Besides, I knew that this move wasn't permanent, and that I'd be moving again in a year, so I never unpacked most of the boxes. After my next move, I know my heart will break again. I never collected a cent from that insurance or the company for all the things that were broken. They did give me a tiny bit of money back to make up for the jerk of a kid who didn't do anything except things like throwing naked light bulbs into boxes, and breaking every single lampshade. I found two metal wall sculptures stuck together with a pointed metal plate holder, which was just thrown into a box. They're still stuck together. Glass picture frames that were hand-painted were not wrapped, and put standing up against each other in a crate they found in that room. I had specifically pointed out those frames as needing extra care. It wasn't only the packing. When they did the actual move, a lot of things had to be placed in the garage, including a refrigerator and washer & dryer, and queen mattress and box spring, all of which I'll need in my next place. They put tall, heavy boxes on TOP of the big refrigerator and mattress. I'm under 5' tall. Did they really think I could access them? When they were finishing clearing out the house I was moving from, I gave the movers some expensive things. One was a big, beautiful stainless steel barbecue that had hardly been used. That was in addition to generous tips. Had I a clue that I would end up in such despair I would have done none of that. Move completed on time, within budget, very pleased and will use again. 2018, Worst Move Ever. Caught the moving supervisor sneaking out sitting on back of truck on phone and eating a sandwich while on the clock, an entire room full of items was left behind which included all my clothes and mobility devices, knocked a hole in wall of new apartment, broke a power recliner and the top off stone table. They went into a spare bathroom they were instructed not to, left plastic, tape and trash everywhere and after a lengthy restroom break never washed or dried their hands. They were slow and not efficient with loading the truck, as the same items that took 6 hours with farther distance the year before took over 8 hours and included them leaving an entire room behind. We had to spend all night moving the room ourselves and cleaning up their mess. Upon their return to repair the wall and table, the worker got glue on our carpet and used strong chemicals attempting to clean it up. We again had to get someone sent out to repair the carpet. These a-holes had the sheer audacity to tell me that, after they broke my stairs, fixing it- not replacing it- is a simply a courtesy to me, and that they don't have to do anything. The employees clearly don't care, and I get it, but you are still responsible for their actions and damages. Screw these guys, this is literally what companies have insurance for! Crooks would be a kind way to describe them. They estimated one price and then on arrival of delivery wanted nearly double the estimate or they weren't going to unload furniture. They also completely ruined a $500 table and wanted to compensate it with $28. We will be taking them to court. USE ANYONE ELSE! read more

We signed a contract and they tried to over charge us twice during the move. They ended up holding our furniture hostage until we paid them an additional $660. They did not use any additional resources or time. Very unethical. They damage a piece of furniture and did no compensate us. DO NOT USE THSES MOVERS read more

*****Update: After reading the reply from the company, I am going to call them tomorrow and speak to Elena again. She had mentioned a while ago that my issue had gone to claims, but did not mention the time frame of 90 days. After the matter has been resolved I will certainly update my rating and review accordingly. I really want to be as fair as possible and take these ratings and reviews seriously. I also really want to give Move 4 Less every benefit of the doubt. With no mention of the 90 day time period and the recent lack of replies, I think any reasonable person would assume that a satisfying resolution was not forthcoming. For the time being I will bump it up to 2 stars for the fast reply. After the situation is resolved I will update it yet again.***** It really is a shame I have to write this review as a 1 star review. Had Move 4 Less just stepped up to the plate and done what was right, this was easily a 4 or 5 star review. Allow me to explain... We got the keys for our new home in early November. In an effort to mitigate charges for the pending move, we decided to rent a truck and move all the boxes and smaller items and just pay a moving company for the 2 man items. Move 4 Less had decent reviews and was also recommended by a co-worker. They sent 2 guys to help with a truck full of items. The guys were hard working, hustled, and did an excellent job in the 5 hours they moved our items. The only damage to any of our items occurred on literally the very last item on the truck, our sofa. While bringing it through the doorway the wood backboard was scraped along a front ridge, causing visible damage. I paid over $1300 for this sofa. I didn't even freak out. All I asked was that the damage be touched up and repaired. The guys said no problem and made a notation of the damage on our receipt. We were still impressed with how hard the guys worked and, I thought, tipped them very generously(Is $70 each a good tip for a mover??). I didn't want to hold one mistake against them after all their hard work that day. This was at the end of the first week of November. At first they asked for a pic of the damage(which I will post) and it sounded as if it would not become an issue. It has now been more than 6 weeks and there has been no communication, replies to our calls/emails, or any effort at all to make this right. I have held off on writing this review in an effort to give them EVERY reasonable chance to take care of this situation. It is fairly obvious we have been given the brush off. Please consider their reply, or lack thereof, when considering using this company. I believe it really reflects their character and how they operate. They damaged the item, acknowledged they caused the damage, and have failed to rectify the matter. Completely unprofessional. Completely unethical. Utterly disappointing. 1 star. read more
