Worst experience of my life. I texted in to get a free quote. I told them I was moving from a ONE BEDROOM apartment to a house 12 miles away. Kalie responded via text "if you are moving a 1 or small 2 bedroom, 2 man is plenty but larger 2 bedroom and up i suggest 3 movers" and "$119/hr for a two man crew with a two hour minimum and a service charge of $69." So I sent a text reply back confirming the approximate total would be $307 for 2 hours or less. Kalie responded "2 hours or loess woule be $307, correct." The day of the move they showed up an hour late. The window they gave me was 8:00 - 9:30 am, they showed up at 10:30 am. They showed up with three men instead of two. They took FOUR HOURS to move my small one bedroom apartment with three men. We get to the house. and they ask if I want them to just drop everything in the living room or if I essentially want to pay them more to bring everything where it is supposed to go. Now it has turned into a FIVE HOUR MOVE from a one bedroom apartment, I tell them just drop everything in the living room. She then tells me the total would be $515.25!!!! I refused to pay for their illegal charge, and the lady who was "watching" the man, called a lady named Christine. Christine did not know they showed up an hour late, and threatened to call the police on me for "theft of their services". I explained to Christine what I was quoted and how much I thought it was going to be and with THREE MEN it should not have taken that long and it was absolutely absurd. Christine had no customer service and still demanded the rest of the money for their services. I gave the lady $400 in cash and had to venmo the rest. Then, Kalie, who gave me the original quote, started texted me aggressively saying what she quoted me was not wrong blah blah blah. I had to block her number. I will never ever ever ever recommend this fraudulent company. My recommendation to the company would be to: 1. Not quote people until you request a picture of the load that is to be moved, 2. Not quote people such a low number when they know their crew will take their sweet time, and 3. Learn some customer service. read more

The guys we had helping us were amazing!! They unloaded our stuff very quick and were careful not to damage anything. The only negative I will say is that they went over by 10 minutes and I got charged for 2.5 hours because they went over by 10 min. We just completed an entire house move with Movers Plus. We have done many moves in the past and they were one of the best! There was threat of rain on the day of our move and the 3 movers carefully shrink wrapped all the wood furniture and moved it perfectly. No scratches or nicks in either house. I can not say enough how much these guys "saved the day" for us. We had scheduled a move with another moving company, First Step movers, and the day of our move they told us they wouldn't be able to start us until 6:00 PM or the next day. I called Movers Plus at the last minute and they sent out a crew to us and ONE HOUR later and they moved me and my daughter to two different places in the same day and made the day so smooth. They were the nicest guys and they were careful with all of our things and we didn't have to do anything. I will use them again and again. This was the most pleasurable move ever. Jose and his crew arrived within the timeframe promised. They were very careful with my furniture and made sure every piece was wrapped and protected before moving. There was an issue with my apartment's elevator but they still managed to complete the move in a timely manner. They didn't take any breaks, not even lunch. They removed all of the wrappings and debris from my home. I was extremely happy and pleased. I have already recommended them to a friend and will continue to recommend to everyone I know. I don't write reviews, but this was such a frustrating experience. I've used Movers Plus 3 times and have referred them to other friends as well. I've never had an issue until this past week. We initially had a move scheduled for Thursday. The crew assigned to us called to let us know they had to reschedule for the following day due to the ice storm - understandable and not even upset about it. Friday morning comes and no one calls to inform me if they're on their way. I had to call 14 times to get a hold of someone. The first answer was from someone around 9:30...it sounded like they just woke up. He said they would get back to me when they checked on the team. I waited an hour and a half and hadn't heard back. No follow-up from anyone or confirmation that the job would even get done after 3 hours of waiting. I finally gave up on them and hired a different moving company that was gracious enough to help us within a few hours - First Step Moving (highly recommend them). After I had texted the owner back saying I hired someone else, I got a text that just said "sorry". Terrible customer service. They couldn't seem to care any less that they disregarded us. They're impossible to get a hold of and simply don't care about the people they're hired to serve. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Adrian, whom I visited with to schedule the job, is very professional and courteous. PLUS, and most importantly, the movers themselves, Fernando and Geo, were OUTSTANDING in every way. I received a quote through Yelp messaging and confirmed the price and travel charge after receiving the quote and the pricing was confirmed via email/messaging. However when I called to schedule, the pricing changed and my move was going to cost $600-$700 more than quoted. Don't be fooled by the quote. We have used this company for two moves. The first experience was absolutely perfect, they wrapped all of the bigger items, and they were so careful with everything. We loved the guys we had. The second time the guys were great, very hardworking as before. I was even struggling to move a couch with my husband that was not being moved, and one of the guys stopped what he was doing and immediately stepped in to help! They had a very long day, and there was a mis-communication at the end. When they took the last load, they left about three F-250 truckfulls behind. The drive in between homes was about an hour, and this was the second time they had made the trip. I called the owner, Adrian, a little upset and I couldn't have received better customer service. He listened to my story and was empathetic. He asked if he could call and speak to his guys and then call me back. Within 5-10 minutes I had a call back. He apologized for the miscommunication. He offered to have the guys come back at no charge and finish that day. They had worked from 915 and now it was 615. We told him not to worried about it that day, and he told us to let him know when was convenient for us, and he would get it done. The next day we had a short window of time, and Adrian, himself, came with his family to finish the job. He loaded up his SUV and drove the hour to our new home. We didn't know they had an FC Dallas soccer game to go to in Frisco at 3. He arrived at my new home at 330 and unloaded everything. I don't think you can get better customer service than that! I would have no hesitation using him and his guys again! They are amazing movers at a very fair and low price. If you're looking for a mover, Movers Plus, Adrian, and his team are your guys. I had a ton of people suggest me firehouse movers and while I am not gonna knock them down or anything I decided to go with movers plus cause they had better reviews and pricing so I was a little nervous. No need to be because they showed up on time and they didn't fuck around! Our storage unit was packed up and on our way to the new place in less than 2 hours and it was unpacked even quicker.
