Booked the service through HireAHelper, and was assigned this company for unloading at Dallas for a move from Boston to Dallas. The unloading was scheduled for Tuesday 05/06 well in advance. I called the PoC the day before to let them know that the weather shows heavy rain and the trailer was parked about 30 feet from the apartment. The PoC confirmed they can still complete it (despite me mentioning that the forecast indicates heavy rain) and did not want to reschedule. The crew arrived on time and moved some stuff before it started raining heavily. They damaged (broke) one of the drawers from my center table and LEFT THE TRUCK DOOR OPEN when it started raining with the ramp outside. This got all the stuff (speakers, boxes and bags) towards the entrance wet. When the crew returned to close the door, they just dumped things on top of each other resulting in broken glasses etc. The PoC and the crew confirmed they would come at 10am the next day to complete the move, but did not show up. Upon calling the PoC, I was informed they can come later in the day, and when I mentioned it doesn't work for me I was told I'll get a call back in 5-10 min. Waited for about 45 minutes and didn't hear anything back. Tried calling multiple times but the PoC did not answer. Unprofessional, lack basic communication, and no regard for your stuff. read more

The 2 guys were late even after I gave them an additional hour to get there in time. One of the guys worked relatively hard, while the other stood around with his hands in his pocket, watching me and the other guy work. Neither one understood how to stack boxes to get the most out of the room in the moving van. Before the job was over, the dude with his hands in his pockets told me they take cash gratuity. From my perspective, you need to earn the "gradatuity." By working hard, showing up on time. Sorry, I can't recommend them at all. read more

This is the second time I've used My Guys Elite Moving in 2 years, and have had fantastic service both times. A 3 man crew moved us from frisco to celina in the pouring rain in about 4 hours. The guys showed up on time in the middle of a downpour, wrapped up all our furniture, and moved everything with zero damage. Couldn't recommend these guys more. You won't find better quality and value in movers - give them a shot! read more

Next day service on Fourth of July weekend! (Without an upcharge). Carlos and Robert were kind, wore masks (per social distancing guidelines), and moved quickly. We hired them to unload a two-bedroom apartment and they completed it within two hours. I will be using them again. read more

Had to find someone last minute to help us unload our moving truck, and they were available the next day! Even in this stormy weather the guys came out! If I could give zero starts, you better believe I would. Not even sure where to start, but here goes. First and foremost, 2 of the 3 movers booked, showed up reeking of Marijuana; one of them is listed as the VP of the company. It was hot and they worked hard, however, their hard work pales in comparison to the trail of havoc they left behind. One of the guys hit the wall in the hallway with the corner of a dresser and left a half-dollar sized hole. Stuff happens, so I wasn't super upset about it, BUT I was upset that no one bothered to tell me about it. Once I discovered it, the guy responsible fessed up, but it definitely should have been brought to my attention. This proved to be a pattern throughout the move. I text the owner to see if he had someone who could repair and he said yes. Once we got to the new house, I discovered major damage to multiple personal items. Each item, I had to discover the damage myself...they didn't bring any of it to my attention. The owner made an attempt to repair the hole in the wall and it was quite obvious it was his first time patching a hole. I lost a $2200 deposit on the house due to this damage. When I reached out to the owner regarding my personal items being damaged, he asked for the opportunity to try to repair the items. I explained there was no way this damage could be repaired, but he was welcome to try. He showed up with a Home Depot bag with some scratch filler for my wood table that looked like it had a fight with Freddy Kruger himself and a can of appliance spray paint for the multiple dents and scratches in my refrigerator. Neither of which worked. Disappointed, he said he would file a claim with his insurance. At this point it was just over a week after the move. I hadn't heard back from him regarding the claim after a full month, so I reached back out only to find out that he hadn't submitted the claim at all; stating he lost my information. He then forwarded me an email from his insurance company for me to provide details of the damage. Mind you, he had photos of everything. Now, a full month later, 2 full months after the move, there is STILL no resolution. He has not made any attempts to rectify this situation despite us paying nearly $900 for our move. We take all opportunities to support small, local businesses, especially in these times and it is beyond disappointing when we have experiences like these. Not only are we out the $900 we paid for the movers, but now the $2200 deposit on our previous home, $500 for a new dining table set and stuck using a beat down fridge with broken shelves until I can manage to purchase a new one which will be another couple grand. These guys will cost you WAY more than what they're worth! Don't waste your time or money!! read more

Unfortunately, a really poor experience and no effort from the owners and team to make it right. For starters they were over an hour late late... The truck was too small and we ended up having to put large items in our personal cars, as well as leave some items at the apartment for us to deal with on our own later. They left our 2-3 heaviest boxes downstairs for my fiancé to deal with, despite the items being clearly marked to go upstairs. Almost every piece of furniture had some form of damage - paint chips, wood chips, or scratches. They were very rough with their dolly and chipped off some stone on our front porch. They also did not protect furniture and slid our beige couch across a very dirty rented truck, which resulted in a gross/dirty couch and cushions. There was no paperwork at any point in the process and they refused to give us their insurance information. Their suggestion for damaged furniture, was to use "magic marker." Extremely disappointed in the initial service and their overall customer service and pride (or lack thereof) in their work. If you care about your items at all, keep looking... these guys aren't it. read more

Couldn't have had a better moving experience than working with Muy Guys Elite. Carlos and KC showed up early, were friendly, and worked hard to help me move my things from apt to apt. Moved from the 3rd floor of one building to the 3rd of another. Nothing was damaged in the process. Wrapped everything that needed to be wrapped, and handled my other belongings carefully. Would strongly recommend working with My Guys Elite Moving and supporting this local business. The price was at-least $100 cheaper than the other companies I called, and we probably moved faster than any other company would've. These guys are there to get the job done. read more

Don't use these guys. Very poor job of packing truck, didn't use half the packing blankets provided, broke glass, put heavy boxes on top of light ones and spent 50% of the allotted and paid for time. Lots of damage. The crew showed up smelling of pot. Disappointed U-Haul didn't do a better job of vetting companies they put on their web site. read more

They showed up without masks. They had their own dolly. I showed them the appliance dolly I rented from Uhaul and told them I wanted them to use it because the appliances could be strapped on. I told them I did not want anything damaged and they said "yes ma'am, we won't damage anything." I went into the bedroom to finish taking the bed apart. They loaded the dryer then came back for the washer. They took it down the stairs on their dolly and it fell off. All four sides got damaged. Dents and scratches. At that point I told them they were done. Not going to tear up more of our stuff. I went to the truck to check the dryer. I saw scratches on it as well. The front and sides. I call the company office and told them what happened. The washer and dryer set are 5 months old. He said to send pictures and he will repair them. I sent multiple pictures so we will see what happens next. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

I would give less than one star if possible. But, we hired this company due to their reviews but our experience was NOTHING like some other reviews so BEWARE. I did a review on their website but noticed it is not showing up now. But, upon their initial arrival, I thought they were going to be professional movers and know how to handle items. They told us they bring pads and they did not. (luckily we had rented some and purchased some). We advised upon arrival of how we had boxes marked for loading. We were loading items in two storage units, controlled climate and regular. We had big blue pieces of painters tape on boxes marked for controlled climate. I also had boxes clearly marked all over the box if it was fragile, a detail they did not seem to care about at all. They handled all boxes the same, without much care or attention. Additionally, I have some very expensive pieces of furniture that I had notes on for them as to how to handle/load. One such pieces was an antique tea cart with a separate marble base. They loaded it as one piece, no straps, no padding. I had an antique curio cabinet with a glass door that they used packing tape on it to hold the door closed, yes packing tape! luckily I caught it once unloaded and managed to get it off before all of the finish on the cabinet was destroyed. They also dropped another family heirloom side table with a marble top out of the truck and it broke all to pieces, to which they did not even seem to care or attempt to offer to repair or claim on their insurance. My expensive grandfather clock had no padding around it for the move and no straps on the dolly it was moved on. Also, they dropped the finial off the top of it and broke it. Then, Boxes that were marked for climate control ended up in all the wrong places to which SOME we were able to catch and get corrected. Fragile boxes had heavy items loaded on them and were tossed about like a box with pillows. A top to a high boy was placed on another piece of furniture and leaning so badly I was afraid it would fall. When I mentioned it was wrong, they said they could prop it with something else. What?? Why not correct it? And, our beautiful dining room chairs were all crammed in to the unit in every way possible, with no padding and no care to attention. By the time the day was wrapping up, my husband and I were so exhausted and frustrated, we finally just said goodbye to them. We were already tired from packing and all that goes with moving. OMG!! What a horrible experience it was with this crew. I have moved multiple times in my life due to career but never in my entire 58 years have I ever dealt with movers this unprofessional. It was as if they never had any training but just hired their friends to move people like you would move into a dorm room. My best recommendation to you, RUN FORREST RUN!!!
