The whole move went off with out a hitch at a great price and with a friendly bunch of guys. What else can you ask go?

I needed a Tuff shed moved across my yard for a landscaping project and I was referred to Kevin and his company to do the job. He was very responsive and it was easy to communicate what I needed, getting a quote and getting the job scheduled. He and his crew arrived on time and did a great job with the shed. It was a tricky space to move it into and they did it with ease, they used hand operated gear so my narrow side access was not a problem. The shed was moved again by them at a later date after my project. They also helped me with leveling another shed in my yard. They were careful and there was no damage to the metal base frame which can be bent easily on Tuff sheds. Incredibly happy with the job and the quality of work. I had a great experience with Luis. Very professional and efficient. He and his helper got my couch right in the door quickly and took my stress away. The company I ordered it from claimed the couch could not be delivered through the front door and that I would have to hoist it over my 2nd story balcony. I'm so glad I found Luis to take care of this. Their minimum is $250 which I understand about, but that was more than I wanted to have to pay to move one piece of furniture. Kevin was amazingly patient and helpful through every step of the process. He and another man, Adrian, made a difficult move seem so simple. Everything arrived in.perfect condition and they maneuvered some very large and heavy furniture up a tricky switchback stairway. They disassembled and reassembled my bed in no time flat. I never enjoy leaving a negative review but I was really disappointed in what transpired during our move and so felt compelled to write this out (sorry for the length!). After having a different moving company cancel on us over the past weekend due to their team being delayed at their previous job site, we sought this company out to handle our move. I have to say, the guys that came over were both very kind and initially undeterred by the description given about our home and our moving needs. They were also punctual, arriving at 1:55 PM instead of the planned 2:00 PM; greatly appreciated that. Rates were discussed and agreed upon. They walked up, flipped our U-Haul around and began moving and loading some furniture. Everything seemed to be going well. Later and seemingly unbeknownst to them, I was upstairs in one of the rooms and could over hear the words they exchanged, including "holy sh**" whilst in the master bedroom. I heard a few camera clicks, which I thought strange and decided to poke my head out of the room I was sorting out. His reaction showed me he thought none of us could hear him. I smiled and agreed that yes, the furniture in that room was big. I was then asked how many people assembled the bed and I guesstimated two to three, he insisted it must have been three. (The movers we later hired managed with two people and I had already disassembled the other beds in the other rooms, to make the process easier). They came around to check the other rooms and I heard one of the two say "oh, okay, that's doable". I didn't think much about it but felt something was off. My neighbor and I later overheard him trying to get in contact with one of his coworkers, to bring on board. If three was what was needed, we were okay with that. At around 2:20 PM I hear a truck drive past our house. I assumed they went off to pick up their coworker. Or that they were returning their dog (Aldo, I believe) that they had brought along on the job, because of the heat and his barking. By 2:50 PM, we called them several times on three different cellular lines and sent text messages to no avail. It was clear they were dodging our calls. We just wanted an explanation and I felt the need to give them the benefit of the doubt by assuming they'd return soon enough. However, they literally just up and left without notifying any one of us. I completely understand that they may have underestimated their ability to handle this job. That's fine. Common courtesy would dictate that you would at least give any one of your customers a heads up that you no longer want the job or are unable to complete it, instead of completely leaving them in the lurch, unaware of what happened. They seemed like nice people and so I was a bit disappointed at how things turned out. read more

I hired MWM on short notice and they were able to accommodate me with a moving date and time immediately. Before my scheduled moving date, I had to change things, because I had more time than I expected to move. Kevin was able to give me another date and time with no problems. On the move date they were on time and ready to start working. They moved all my things with ease in less than an hour to their truck, and then drove it to my storage and unloaded everything to my storage. Movers with maneuvers customer service was so good that I've decided to rehire them to move my things from my storage to my new apartment. read more

I appreciate that he kept us posted on where he was through the day - we knew when he was en route so we could manage our day without endlessly waiting. I've been debating whether to write a review or not. I really hope this serves a constructive purpose, because I've been taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't. I went with Luis and MWM because of their excellent Yelp reviews. He was also quite responsive, moreso than any other mover I reached out to. It was an evening-time move. I felt that Luis was quite careful and detail-oriented but not so much his helper. His helper caused a big gash on the wall in the old house that I had to patch up and paint. Most of the items were moved just fine without any issues. Everything else was going smoothly until the very end when some expensive Thomasville furniture reached the destination, and I noticed some large scratches along the surface of two panels of the entertainment center (one on the top front that's very noticeable, and one right on the side in the middle that's somewhat covered up by the adjacent piece of furniture) and some minor scratches on the armoire. Also a piece of the bed frame detached that still doesn't quite fit right when I put it back on. The next morning, I found little wood chips from the Thomasville furniture next to the front door. I realize these were VERY heavy pieces, and I am thankful for their help. I just want them to be more careful in the future, especially Luis's helper. I don't want this to happen to someone else. We've taken such good care of our expensive Thomasville furniture, and I'm so saddened that it sustained some damage. He did knock off a small amount (something like $30 to $50 if I recall correctly) of the total price at the end, but that pales in comparison to the scratches because of the sentimental value of the furniture. I will call Thomasville to find out if they have anything to patch up deep scratches on their cherry furniture. Luis had mentioned that they had been working since early in the morning that day, and that's fine, and I understand it's a labor-intensive job (and I thank you for doing this job, because it's not easy), but it still doesn't make up for any damage done. I do appreciate Luis's responsiveness and for that I would be willing to try them again. I just want my review to be constructive and to help future customers. read more

The team moved a very heavy custom-built playhouse from my back yard today. They were here a bit earlier than scheduled, took care to move the playhouse quickly and safely, were polite, and got the job done! I would recommend them wholeheartedly. read more

These guys are great! Kevin and Moe arrived on time and transported our beloved 1930's grand piano across the bridge without a hitch. They even helped us get it positioned "just right" in an awkward space. We will use them again to move other items for sure! read more

Called Kevin on Saturday with a difficult hot tub move (up a steep hill). The other two companies I'd called had either said "No" upon seeing a picture of the site, or had not returned my call, but he was game, and able to do it that Sunday am! He and his two guys had rigged up a "sled" that allowed them to slide it up the steps. They were in and out in 45 min--amazing! read more

We bought a hot tub from Costco and they only deliver to the driveway. These guys did a quick and clean job moving the hot tub from the front yard, through the gate and onto the pad in the backyard. They were friendly and took the giant pallet away (for an extra fee) which was helpful. read more

I hired these guys to move a 1000 pound printing press on short notice. They rolled it out on to the street, got it up on their truck, tied it down correctly, and delivered it and unloaded it safe and sound in about two hours! They were the best. would hire them again in a minute. read more
