While the restaurant doesn't have a liquor license (though you can likely bring your own), they serve a delicious chicha morada, refreshing lemonade, a variety of Peruvian sodas, and your typical American soft drinks. From the moment you walk in, the welcoming staff and excellent service set the tone for a great dining experience. The portions are generous, too! We kicked off our meal with the "Trio Causa," a traditional layered potato dish seasoned with ají amarillo and lime, filled with chicken, tuna, and seafood, topped with pickled onions. It was super yummy! For the main course, we had the Arroz Chaufa, a seafood stir-fry rice dish that stole the show. This dish is loaded with seafood- crab, large shrimp, mussels, and calamari, enough to easily share among 2-3 people. We also tried the Lomo Saltado, and wow! The sauce was incredible, and the steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. I did research some reviews and remembered reading that some people didn't like how the tipping was handled. I forgot to keep this in mind when I paid, I included a tip. When I got home, I reviewed the check because it seemed a little high and realized the tip portion isn't preprinted on the receipt like most restaurants and it was built into the total price. So, I basically left over a 40 percent tip, I should have analyzed the receipt better before paying (this is something to keep in mind). While the discounted cocktails were a plus, the food simply did not justify the price and we probably won't be coming back even though we live nearby.

At first, I thought it was going to be like other empanadas that I've tried which have a crispy shell however these empanadas are similar in a way, but are very different in texture. These empanadas are a bit softer on the outside and have a denser inside filling which include potatoes and beef and it was quite delicious. I thought I could eat both of them, but after one I was full. I will definitely be back to the restaurant since I'm always in that area and it's literally five minutes from where I live. We also got a side of frijoles (beans), which were really good. *Frozen Mango Margarita ~$15 - The drink was sweet and refreshing as expected, but the tequila was weak. It could've used another shot.... Or two. Noches has won me over with their great prices and generous portion sizes! It's now my go-to spot when I'm craving a satisfying Colombian meal.
