Coconut Shrimp Dinner with orange citrus marmalade (sides: garlic bread & garlic mashed potatoes)
    Unique E.

This was our second time dining at Keegan's Seafood Grille and it was great!!! I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Amberjack dinner special W/tropical salsa on top. Had a side of fries & baked potato along with my dinner. We also had the Coconut Shrimp Dinner with orange citrus marmalade. Side for that were: garlic bread & garlic mashed potatoes. Food has always tasted excellent!!! Service was very good as well. We sat inside which is always nice to see with the decor and fish tank to look at.

Great food, great service. Inside is very casual but clean and air-conditioned. Highly recommend the soft shell crab sandwich, the gumbo, and the key lime pie. Super good flavor on the pie-- it was the perfect balance of tart, creamy and sweet. I also enjoyed the mussels here, but I would probably skip on the cracked conch as it was pretty bready and dry.

Outstanding food and service! We had 3 people in our party for lunch and we ordered grilled blackened Mahi sandwiches, shrimp Po Boy, the grouper nuggets and buffalo shrimp for appetizers. We loved it! Will be back!

This location is right Across street Indian bricks public beach. We had a large group and tried the Grouper bites for our starter and loved them. Also really like the Jalapeño poppers with crab. I enjoyed the Lobster roll, and my family had the Buffalo grouper sandwich and crab cakes. We highly recommend this place for a great meal!

    Chat Char Broiled Octopus

Char Broiled Octopus Seemingly a simple seaside stop but the food is great. The char broiled octopus, calamari is by far the best key lime pie we have ever had. Can't wait to go back next time we're in the area

The skeletal remains of what used to be food. And some excellent pepper sauce to take home.

We spent 4 days in Florida and the best seafood we ate was from Keegan's, no contest. Now there were only 3 of us, but we ate a lot. Don't judge, we skipped lunch. Hushpuppies, french fries, grilled grouper, charbroiled snapper, a dozen clams, crab legs, 2 ears of corn, garlic bread, 3 sides of green beans, a Stella, a Corona, and two ice teas. The only edible thing left on our table was maybe 6 green beans. As I recall, our bill including tip and a bottle of their stellar pepper sauce to take home was $230. The staff were all pleasant and efficient and definitely knew what they were doing. No notes. If I were headed back to the area, I would go out of my way to eat there again, no doubt.

Keegan's Seafood grilled was a nice stop for lunch in Indian rocks beach. The atmosphere was great with a large menu and many appetizers. We had drinks and the oyster Rockefeller, very good.

We are out of towners, and looking for a delicious and authentic seafood experience here in IRB! All I can say is OMG! Delicious, 100% made from scratch food. Generous portions, extremely fresh! The crab soup, and crab cakes were out of this world. Service was wonderful as well. Friendly and efficient. Kids food came out in minutes! Will definitely be back again!

Shrimp Po Boy was huuuuuuge! Grouper sandwich was delicious Blackened Mahi sandwich was on point Called in for a takeout, food was hot and ready within 20 minutes. My grouper sandwich and pasta salad
    Tom M.

The service was excellent. She was spot on and I didn't have to ask for anything. The grouper sandwich was served with a variety of options, but I chose the pasta salad for mine. The whole thing was tasty and I ate every bite. Great location as well. Indian rocks Beach in the speed limit is only 30 miles an hour. Great for ease of getting in and out. Hey, next time families in town, we might have to take them here.

    White sangria

We were seated quickly, the service was great and the food was wonderful. Portions were large enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Be sure to get a pitcher of the white sangria... it is AMAZING!!

Got a to go order, it was wrong. Had to drive back it was cold by the time I got home. Ordered steak medium or was rare. Asked for no salt, there was salt. Eat in if you can, that was a better experience.

Yes - we had gator tail as an appetizer. Was pretty good!

If I remember correctly they don't take reservations, I would recommend calling first. Regardless it's worth the wait! Awesome food!!!

We chose to sit outside, and even with the Florida summer heat, the overhead fans kept the patio comfortable, making for a beautiful evening. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal. We loved the complimentary warm bread served with seasoned olive oil--it was a huge hit with the kids before our food even arrived. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and served with two delicious dipping sauces. It disappeared quickly! For our entrées, the coconut shrimp was outstanding. The shrimp were large, coated in a crunchy toasted coconut breading, and paired perfectly with the orange blossom honey marmalade. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and roasted tomatoes rounded out a delicious plate. We also ordered the crab cakes, which were packed with lump crab meat, perfectly seared, and complemented by the Creole mustard aioli. Our kids were just as impressed! The kids' fish and chips meal came with a surprisingly generous portion of flaky fish, crispy fries, and fresh fruit, making it an excellent value. Our other child ordered the adult cheeseburger entrée and couldn't stop talking about how amazing it was. It was thick, juicy, perfectly cooked, topped with melted cheddar, and served on a soft bun with crisp lettuce and tomato. Every dish was beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Combined with the relaxing outdoor atmosphere and exceptional service, Guppy's delivered a fantastic dining experience. It's easy to see why it's such a favorite on Indian Rocks Beach, and we'll definitely be back!

To our pleasant surprise, we were seated right away even though the restaurant was very busy! They initially placed us in a booth and we kindly asked if there was a table near the window since they had a great view of the water. The hostess checked and found us a table next to the window. Great start so far. Our server was pleasant, though service was a bit slow. But again, the restaurant was very busy so we understood and were just happy to enjoy a meal there. It was our last night on the beach and we were very hungry, so we decided to order a bunch of items: Espresso martini Bread basket Lobster bisque Smokin' fresh tuna spread Sushi Red grouper (catch of the day), Indian shores style with shareable side of au gratin potatoes Red grouper (catch of the day), wood fire grilled with mashed potatoes Shareable side of charred asparagus Our server spaced them out and brought out the drink, the bread, the soup, and tuna spread first. The bread was supposed to be sourdough, but when the basket came out I noticed it didn't look or taste like sourdough so we checked with the server and he informed us that they ran out of sourdough so they gave us basically a French baguette. This was surprising and quite disappointing because we should have been notified of the change right away. Also concerning for allergies, but fortunately, we didn't have any. Then came the sushi and finally the entrees. Almost everything was delicious. One of the grouper entrees was a bit overcooked, but we really enjoyed the sides. The espresso martini was smooth and strong. Even though I always make room for dessert, we decided to skip because by the time we finished our entrees, we had already been there for two hours. We were ready to turn in for the night. Overall, we had a good experience and we were very grateful to be seated right away despite them being very busy. We would also recommend the food. Also, my son ordered a scallop dish and it came with almonds all over the plating but almonds were not described at all in the menu. When we called the restaurant back to talk about the mistake, the server who answered, said she didn't think that anything could be done about it, but maybe they could make a buttered pasta for our son who ordered a signature entrée and not from the child menu. She said she would ask her manager and call us back. She did not call us back, so my wife called back and asked to speak to a manager. She was able to talk to the manager. Ultimately, my son was able to get the order cooked again without nuts. The manager's excuse was that they had recently designed new menus, but they hadn't been printed so the nuts weren't listed. We ordered off of a digital copy online so that would not need to be printed onto paper. For allergens like nuts, that absolutely needs to be listed on the menu. They did comp his order so I gave two stars, but thank God he's a super careful kid. The food that I ordered was grouper chowder, and the coconut shrimp appetizer. The chowder was bland and had one 1 in x 1 in x 1.5 in chunk of grouper in it. The saltines it came with had more flavor. The shrimp in the coconut shrimp was cooked but parts of the coconut were undercooked and tasted like raw coconut, which is either because too many were cooked in the fryer at once or the fryer temp was too high. We picked up the order. I noticed that the place was busy but the kitchen staff seemed small. Probably too much pressure in the kitchen to meet diner demands. Maybe the kitchen needs more staff.

The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was attentive, and the food definitely kept us coming back for another bite. Here are our favorites: Hangry Jen Pasta - The name says it all! This dish is huge and easily shareable. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Seafood Enchiladas - Loaded with seafood, incredibly flavorful, and topped with plenty of melted cheese. Cheese lovers will be in heaven. Petite Filet Medallions with Potatoes - The steak was perfectly tender and seasoned beautifully. The potatoes were the perfect complement and soaked up all the delicious flavors. Lobster Bisque - The standout of the meal! Every person at the table took a bite and immediately agreed this was a winner. Rich, creamy, and layered with spices that linger just enough to keep you thinking about your next spoonful. I called on a Monday evening for reservations for 8 people for the following Saturday evening at 6pm and requested the room near the bar. I was told no problem - they could put two tables together for us. She took my name and phone number and all was good. Saturday afternoon at 4pm I received a text from Coco's stating they could not seat 8 people in the bar area - 6 people is the most they can take. I explained what happened when I tried to use their online reservation app and it kept messing up that I called and spoke to someone there who I assumed was the hostess. She asked me for the persons name and I did not remember it (5 days earlier) The hostess on the phone didn't care and again stated that the largest party allowed in that room was 6 people. I asked why she waited until 2 HOURS before the reservation to call me and she said she and the other hostess came in that night at 4 pm and saw the reservations then. I asked her if she could seat us in the main dining room and she said no they could not. This is inexcusable and bad policy to not review reservations in advance in order to notify patrons of an issue. So Saturday night before Fathers Day, 8 people -4 dads-were left to hang out to dry.
