I don't know why I bother to write a review since we are all in consensus that this place rocks. From the outside looks like a little divey place until you walk in and greeted is a cozy adorable atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice and patient. I had a chai latte, so good but a little too hot, had to wait a little bit to start drinking so be careful! Lot of veggie options and they have gluten free bagels and bread which is great. I had some tiny chocolate beignets that were so tasty. This will become my to-go every time I'm in FairPlay read more

Wow! So glad I trusted my fellow Yelpers and popped into this place. As a pescatarian it's tough to find tasty meals on the road. Had the rainbow sandwich and tuna sandwich ($11.95 each). Both were served with a side and pickle. Big portions for the price. Very friendly service in a charming and super clean setting. Highly recommended! read more

SO delicious! Everything was fresh and made to order. The turkey sandwich was incredible (comes with avocado - yum!) and side salad was a wonderful option. The bagel muffuletta was TASTY and had a generous meat portion. My daughter scarfed down her kids ham & cheese sandwich which is rare! We stopped here by chance on our way to Durango and I'm SO happy we did. We had the balsamic avocado toast, and bagel with hummus. Both were delicious. I also ordered a regular chai latte. I accidentally ordered it with dairy instead of an alternative and they very kindly gave me a new one. The place itself is SUPER SUPER cute and the bathroom is clean. I highly recommend stopping here! read more

We stopped in Fairplay to recharge our electric car and stumbled upon Mr. Burro--and we are so glad we did! The folks working here are so friendly, so attentive, so welcoming. The food is amazing, and the place is cozy and warm. I got a breakfast burrito and a chai tea, both of which were excellent. We are so happy to have found this place and we'll make it a regular stop on our travels. read more

Best thing that has happened to Fairplay! Nice to have a healthier option in town. Great coffee and breakfast options as well as lunch. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, they really strive to get you the best service possible and you see it. Food is great with some really good healthy options, which i love. My fiancé and I stopped in for coffee and breakfast last week. The restaurant was packed, but the staff made sure to engage with us and let us know they would have a table ready shortly. Service was spectacular, food and coffee were flavorful and delicious and portions were well worth the (very reasonable) cost! We loved it so much we went back the next day. It's a small restaurant but it's easy to hear yourself talk and their music is at the perfect level to be enjoyable without being overly loud. I wish there were a Mr. Burro in my town! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Next time I'm in Colorado, I will be stopping in. read more

Of course, the price reflects the quality of ingredients and also the fact that some people may buy only a smoothie or only a bowl for lunch. If we had done this, the price would have been half - very reasonable). They had a few tables outside to sit at that looked sunny and nice. The location is convenient, too, near a lot of other places driving through Fairplay. I'd definitely stop in again. Check out my pictures of the food - looks like they came from a magazine.
