Today I stopped by thinking I will get my Smog check done. I was approached by Sam and turned me away and said my car was too low?? I beg to differ. I wasted my time rushing down here after work. They don't want the business or it was too hot for Sam to do his job?? Terrible customer service.....my car is as low as a C7 or C8 Corvette and Ferrari they have in their photos. Sam was just sitting doing nothing in the shop, instead of making some money for the owner Steve, he turns away business !!! Bad business practice.......Lazy!! Nobody likes to receive the notice with their registration renewal that they have to have a smog inspection done but this is a good place to get it taken care of. Mr. C is friendly and professional. The business is easy to find and there are chairs to sit in while he does the work. Quoted $39.75 flat rate plus $8.25 for certificate but was charged $59.75 which didn't add up since the flat rate plus certificate plus tax does not equal what I was charged - even going by 10% tax rate. Disappointed in the up charge. It was busy so didn't mind that the 15 minutes took 45 minutes, but the up charge with no explanation or itemized receipt was disappointing since this place had such good reviews and was close by.
