I'm newer to the area so I looked on Yelp for highest rated SMOG Checks near me and Mr C's popped up with a 4.9. I called and he said to come right over. From the minute I pulled up to the hospitality I felt waiting, the sign on the fridge.... He felt like family :) I will always come here. Thanks for the wonderful care! In and out so fast and heading to AAA up the street for my sticker! Highly recommend Mr C's!

I called ahead to see if they had time for a smog check. They said yes! The business is one stall on the corner of Beach/Lambert in La Habra. I pulled up and the technician told me where to park. He told me to wait by the chairs while he performed the smog check . He also offered me a cold bottle of water, which I accepted on this hot afternoon. He proceeded to do the test and shortly after I'm leaving with a pass and my smog certificate! *$58 for test and certificate !

I submitted a Yelp request for a quote last night, much to my surprise I received a reply at 6:00 am!!! I was advised that the test plus certificate would be a flat fee of $50, no appointment needed! I arrived at the location, sometime after lunch, was warmly greeted by Sam who was finishing up a test with another Customer and he asked me to wait for few minutes. When it was my turn, we had a friendly conversation throughout the testing process, joking about the unusually low mileage on my 2004 vehicle (it rarely gets driven!), and it seemed like in no time that the test was done and my car passed! Overall, it was a pleasant experience, Sam was friendly, professional and polite. I will return next year with this vehicle and in time, bring my other vehicles when they require smogging. Came here for a quick smog check, waited for about 10 minutes to be assisted but the whole process took less than 30 minutes. Mr. C's Smogs originally opened in January 2018 to serve the City of La Habra and surrounding communities with the goal of providing top quality service, efficiency, and affordability. We specialize in older and newer vehicles or trucks, hybrid vehicles, commercial trucks, and RV’s. We are in the southeast corner of the building (right side) next to the car dealership, so just pull up next to the side of the shop. We look forward to serving you soon!

After leaving my car at the shop for diagnostics, I expected to hear back later that afternoon, as they closed a little earlier at 3 PM. However, I didn't hear anything back from them (this is why I removed one star). Since they were closed on Sunday and Monday for Memorial Day, I had to follow up with them on Tuesday morning when they opened at 8. Kevin told me the issue with my car's ignition coils, recommended a tune-up, and ran the numbers, which I found to be a reasonable price. They told me that my car would be ready before the end of the day. I was honestly pretty skeptical, but it was ready before 3 PM! They do take Zelle payments which lowered the cost a little bit. It's been a little more than 5 weeks since the service and my car has been running excellently so far. Thank you JJ Star!

The extra charge for SUVs is ridiculous, especially when it's the same test and same state fee. Nothing about it felt honest. The owner was rude, easily irritated, and acted like basic customer questions were some kind of personal attack. If you want to be treated like an inconvenience while paying more than expected, this is the place for you. There are too many decent smog shops around town to waste your time here. Bad attitude, misleading pricing, and zero professionalism. Hard pass.

Hi!! So I've been having so many issues with my car because it's an older car. This year my car unfortunately didn't pass the smog test! So I came to Mr. C's smog because the location is really close to where I live. Getting my car to finally pass the smog test was a long journey but I'm so glad I came here. The owner was really helpful and honest. He is really knowledgeable and he let me know exactly what needed to be fixed so that I could pass the smog. He also gave me a estimate on how much repairs should cost so that I would not overspend when I went back to the mechanic. He's a really good guy, I would definitely recommend a visit! It's 4th of July!!! I woke up and remembered that my star test smog needed to be done in a few days, i drove around to places i had been before and they were closed for the holiday. I came here and met Henry, a polite and friendly person, answered all my questions (I forgot to grab my DMV renewal form home). He tested my 2007 Toyota in just a few minutes and I was on my way...Triple a was closed so my adventure will continue. I recommend coming here because the customer service is outstanding and they save you lots of time. The business takes credit, which was awesome since I had left my purse at home. Henry keeps his shop spotless and organized, and I know from experience in the automotive business that's a sign of a business person who cares about being professional and taking care of customers. Henry is super friendly, helpful, informative, and customer-oriented. He even apologized for having to charge an extra $1 if I used a credit card. Fantastic service, friendly and fast. I really enjoyed talking with Henry. I didn't feel like a "number" at Mr C's. The shop is super clean too. I found Mr C's on yelp. I read the reviews, and when got to the bottom I noticed that there are 96 other reviews that are "not recommended" for some reason. Shouldn't all of the reviews be plainly viewable? Just got my smog check here for my 2013 Dodge Durango! I asked for an estimate and availability on here and I was answered immediately. No appointment was needed, very affordable and quick! This gentleman owns this shop is just amazing , he offered lowest price for smog I could find, very kind , patient and smart. I did bar 97- precheck test for replace my ride program , which require a type of machine not everyone have it and he did the test correctly and I was approved for the program . This was the fastest, friendliest, easiest smog check ever! Don't let the crowded parking lot scare you away! I drove in, waited less than 10 min for Mr C to finish up with the customer ahead of me.
