My husband and I wanted to plan something of a wedding celebration dinner, and we knew we needed some help because we live on the other side of the country and also none of our family and friends were available to provide much support. JM Events came recommended to me by my photographer who had been in the wedding industry for over a decade. I set up a call with Lilian and we went over my vision for what kind of event I was envisioning and she discussed what kinds of services JME could provide for our event and also shared that they had planned and coordinated similar type events in the recent past. After our call, I also had meetings with other event coordination companies and it was clear to me that JM Events would be the best fit for us as they seemed the most competent and professional. I also liked that JM Events was based nearby our venue. Two months ahead of the event, Alexis began working with us. We tossed around a lot of high-level ideas we were considering and Alexis provided insight on whether or not or how they would work within the constraints of our venue and timeline. Alexis and Lilian also had vendor recs at the ready at different price points whenever we needed them as well. Over time we narrowed down which ideas we wanted at our wedding and Alexis provided invaluable insight on wedding logistics and restaurant service ops that we should consider in our planning. She attended our venue walkthrough with us so that we could begin to visualize placement for different "stations" at our wedding and also served as our advocate with the various vendors we had hired. She also checked in with us and the vendors over increments in time so that we met all of our venue deadlines and to ensure that all of the vendors were in lockstep with what we were planning.  The week of the event, Alexis worked to make sure to send out event confirmations with all of our vendors so that each vendor was prepared to arrive on time and any accommodation our vendors needed were provided. This was so impressive that my make-up artist asked me where I had found Alexis! Alexis and Lillian were consummate professionals through and through, I felt supported the entire time and any question I had was met with a very considered response that only a very experienced events planning professional could provide.  Our wedding celebration was one of the best days of both my husband and my lives. We also received so many compliments on our event, like "best wedding ever" and "can I copy your entire wedding?" I was on cloud nine the whole night and in watching some of my friend's video footage I saw Alexis working in the background making sure that our timeline was executed exactly as planned.  I know certainly that without JME and Alexis, our night would not have went off as seamlessly as it did and I am so grateful for JME and their team. My (then) boyfriend and I got engaged in February 2021, and I always knew I'd want a slightly longer engagement, just to push things out so I'd have more time to decide on what I wanted and how I wanted it. From the start, however, we already knew we wanted to work with Lilian and her team. Given that I had more time, somewhat wanted the challenge of planning a wedding, and felt pretty prepared, we opted for the month-of services. Once we started working with Lilian, our wedding-planning life honestly became sooo much easier. I feel like we had a pretty good idea and plan for everything we needed, yet, Lilian still, easily, made things even better. There were so many things we didn't know we needed. She was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful and knowing she and her team would be by our side to finalize the details and (basically) walk us down the aisle, really put us at ease. Her communication was spot on - not just with us, but with our vendors, and with handling any (not unexpected) last minute changes. She was so easy to reach and communicate with, and was always so patient and efficient. She knew what we wanted, what we needed, and offered suggestions along the way. On our big day, her team was just as great - from the pre-wedding set up, making sure our bridal party had everything we needed, even helping us order boba - Lilian had everything all thought out. She checked in with us throughout the busy night, and helped wrap things up seamlessly. We truly couldn't imagine a more perfect day, and would not have had it any other way. They truly exceeded our expectations in every way and were one of the best investments we made for our wedding. We booked them almost a year out, and a few months later we got to see them in action at a family friend's wedding. Watching how professional and wonderful they were only made us even more excited to have them on our big day and it was the perfect preview of what was to come! Jonsen was always prompt in responding to all of my questions throughout the planning process, which made everything so smooth. We booked their ceremony package with Howard as our emcee, along with the reception package that included DJ, photobooth, and wall drapery with uplighting - and every single element was executed perfectly! Howard was an absolute natural as our emcee - seamless, energetic, and so skilled at keeping the night flowing. When last-minute changes and adjustments came up, he and Jonsen adapted quickly and effortlessly without missing a beat. Jonsen's music selection was on another level as our guests raved about how much they loved it, and the dance floor was packed from beginning to end. People could not stop talking about how much fun they had! The photobooth was a huge hit as well - the props were fun and the photo quality was excellent. The reception setup was incredibly well done and added so much to the overall atmosphere. What made them extra special for us was that they speak both Cantonese and English, which was so meaningful for our guests and made everyone feel included in the celebration. I contacted Quick booth and explained how a vendor cancelled on us last minute. Henry told us not to worry and that even though he already had 2 other events that day, he had a backup photobooth for my niece's Sweet 16! They squeezed us in and were very professional doing so. They were setup ontime and they even were gracious enough to allow every single person in line to take photos. They kept everything setup and extended the ending time with a smile. Now that is what you call service. Well worth every cent! I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

We had to wait almost a hour to get our food. The cars were great but i had trouble rolling around in my wheelchair since part of the car show was on grass and up and downhills. My best friend even had trouble she was walking with a walker. I don't think I will attend ever again unless there are some HUGE changes They need a few BIG changes when making a huge event like this they need to consider the Elderly & Disabled people like myself and follow ADA LAWS. Please make the line to show your tickets upfront not way in the back of the event. i almost fell off my wheelchair getting off the curb because there wasn't a ramp thankfully my best friend and 2 other people helped me. Also a few of the security guards and officers didn't even know where the main line was. Also the event needs to let the Elderly and Disabled go into a regular restroom some of us can't do outside porterpotties like the ones you had and in fact you didn't even have a disabled porterpotty with a ramp like other carshows have had. The one's you had didnt even fit wheelchairs and yet they still didn't let us use the restroom and that is a LAW SUIT because some of us like myself need to do personal treatments that can cost us our lives. I had to wait until I got home to do my treatment. Their was no water, soap or paper towels to last throughout the day there was no attendant keeping a eye on this and there was alot of people complaining. And last but not lease please make a ADA sitting section for the elderly and Disabled some of us can't be in the hot sun for too long because we take medications that will interact with our meds. Some of us can have heat stroke like myself Also if they can't not accommodate to us they need to have people hanging out waters I went up to a few sercurity guards and they told me they only had umbrella sitting for the performers SHAME ON YOU I was disappointed in the whole event but the performers were GOOD. Please don't trest us differently because of our disabilities . Not one video or picture was taken of us but you made it a point to take pictures of everyone around us. Please take video and pictures of us also we deserve to be recognized. We are a part of the community as well. Being tough isn't about what you wear or what you look like. It's all about standing up for yourselves and representing yourselves in a positive way that's being TOUGH

The hair and makeup artist was able to follow my vague instructions and helped customized my overall look, including jewelry choices. She also stayed throughout the shoot for touch-ups, and even helped with posing. Sam's knows what angles to shoot and which lighting works. He guided us through the poses and was able to wrap up our shoot earlier than estimated even though I usually find myself very awkward in front of the camera. I also appreciated that they provide all of the digital files, including the 500+ raw ones. When I wasn't a fan of the initial editing style, Sam was very receptive to my feedback and revised the photos quickly. The reason for 4 stars is the communication. During the consultation, I was hoping for more guidance on ideas since I didn't have a clear vision. I was just shown his portfolio on his tablet and quietly scrolled in front of him. After the shoot, I had to follow up for updates on my raw and edited photos. Only after I reached out first did he respond immediately.

We are so extremely thankful for Paulina! In total we signed up for a 10 session package which we included our parents as well-- 5 sessions for us, 3 sessions for my dad and me, and 2 sessions for my husband and my MIL. Both our parents barely speak English, so there was also a language barrier... Yes... all within one week-- talk about stress! Paulina taught out of a studio in Pasadena. She was extremely kind, patient, and creative. We have no experience in dance and to be honest, it was tough to memorize the steps, keep a tempo, not look stiff, and to make sure we don't step on each other. Despite COVID, she was able to teach us safely, outdoors and with masks, and taught us how to dance in a way where we could use the same knowledge in the future. Instead of going straight into choreography for our wedding song, she taught us some moves that later we would be able to put together into the full song. To be honest I was very hesitant and a bit stressed about learning a dance for the wedding, but she gave us the building blocks and showed through her teaching the confidence I needed to dance on our special day. She knew our level of dance knowledge (which was basically zero) and she knows just what to look out for (ie. smile more, practice with wedding shoes) in order for brides to look their best on the big wedding day. She (and her husband David) are incredibly patient with their students, as they truly care about who they are working with. I truly am so thankful for such great teachers! Since our venue did not provide any services, we hired all of our own vendors. 3LB was essential in ensuring everyone was coordinated and in place on the wedding day. Additionally, because we used their rental equipment, their staff ensured everything was set up exactly according to our instructions. I want to specifically highlight our wedding day coordinator, Jennifer. She was terrific and served as a calming influence throughout the day, ensuring everyone was where they needed to be. I cannot recommend Three Little Birds enough. To anyone considering their services: do yourself a favor and hire this team; you won't be disappointed.

    We had an unbelievably disappointing experience with 3 Little Birds for our chairs and linens…read morerentals during a corporate event. The team arrived almost an hour late, several seat cushions were visibly stained and even molded, the cushion covers were not all the same color we had asked for when booking, and some of their staff were rude to us. Members of our own team had to jump in to cover cushions, tie them to chairs, and set them up to attempt an on-time event start, despite having had many other things to take care of for the event. At one point, our own executive leadership, who had arrived to attend the event, were helping assemble chairs just to keep things moving. Post event, we expressed our extreme disappointment, and after some back and forth over the course of weeks, the company did acknowledge the issues and agreed to provide a partial refund. Unfortunately, despite months of follow-up and repeated assurances, it has now been over FIVE months, and the refund has still not been provided. I normally prefer to handle situations like this privately and give disappointing companies the benefit of the doubt. But the lack of follow-through and accountability has been incredibly frustrating here, so much time has been wasted with nothing to show for it. I am sharing our poor experience, complete with photos of how the rental items arrived, so others can make an informed decision when considering booking with this company.

    The Mad Love team took such incredible care of us throughout our entire wedding planning process…read more Cindy was so warm during our first call with her, and it really set the tone for all of our future interactions with the rest of her team! Shasele was our point of contact, and she was kind, thorough, and patient with us as we worked through all of our requirements and asked her a million different questions about the process. She also made sure to provide regular checklists of items to make sure we stayed on track, while also not putting too much pressure on us! Claire handled putting together a gorgeous design brief based on inspiration photos we gathered, which definitely helped as we went through the process of selecting and working with vendors--all of whom were also incredible! An important thing I also want to mention is that I had a sudden health issue flare up partway through our venue search, which set things back by a year. The team was incredibly understanding and checked in periodically while offering well wishes until I was ready to return to planning, and I deeply appreciate how patient they all were during such a difficult time. Overall we couldn't not have asked for a better planning team to work with, and we're so incredibly grateful to Mad Love Events for making our special day so perfect!

Please continue reading and stop looking elsewhere and be completely convinced that you guys should go with MLE immediately! MLE was involved as our Day of Coordinator and planning activities 6 weeks leading up to the big day. Cindy's experience, consideration, professionalism, and honesty (this is a huge one) made what could have been a very stressful day into a stress-free day, or least as stress free as a wedding day can get it, haha. As the days approached the big day, we were already pretty happy with MLE, but once the big day came, they completely kicked it up into high gear. They were so seamless in working in the background to make everything come together with the vendors, timing, handling of guests, etc. We had a delay due to the florist, but they handled it so well that the guests couldn't tell, only we could, and even when we tried to get involved, MLE assured us that it was taken care of, and not to worry. They even went above and beyond in moving some flowers to be better positioned around our mirror guest list, which elevated how the florist had originally planned for. They were very considerate and thoughtful for us by making sure appetizers were set aside for us while we were taking pictures, we were very pleasantly surprised to find a big bowl of our seafood items sitting at our couples table, since we definitely didn't get a chance to get to it. Throughout the night, they made a point to bring us drinks, dessert, help with a small crisis on my mom's side. I really couldn't have imagined having a better coordinator the day of, I wish I had another big event to plan, because I would absolutely go back to them for their services. AND the amazing service doesn't even stop at the wedding day! Their follow up emails to reflect back on what went wrong or what went well shows how much they care about their work. They were very meticulous in addressing any concerns we had that happened on the big day and most importantly, they were honest. They were truthful about the reasons why some things didn't go as planned, and that to us is the most important trait in a coordinator that you can trust them. In the end, they were instrumental in even getting us partial refunds from vendors because of them not holding completely true to their agreements. If you've read this to its end, you don't need to look elsewhere, hire Cindy and her team now! You won't regret it!
