Then I had some tasty taco beef and I topped it with some cool bean sauce and cheese and sour cream. I also had a nice piece of steak very flavorful. The iced tea was nice and strong. I also had a glass of orange and even it was better than normal it was strong on syrup with a good bite. Next the deserts. At first I was disappointed because they looked like they came from Walmart. However, when I tasted them I was blown away again. The lemon cake was moist and tasted like the delicious lemon archway cookies from my childhood. Next I tried a pumpkin cream log. The spices were perfect and the filling had an excellent balance of tangy cream cheese and sweet. The lunch buffet was $15 drink included. Not only was it the most real and flavorful meal I've had in years but the couple running the place are super friendly and keep the buffet very well maintained. The place was completely clean including the restrooms. The only thing I was missing was some bread or mashed potatoes, but I think they have those sometimes just not the day I went.

But for those hungry from a day on the water of the lake or pool, visits to the buffet are unlimited. The food is standard buffet fare and fit the bill for me starting with a nice salad, followed with a thin sliced boneless pork chop, some vegetables, a roll, and dessert. The selection of everything could have been more extensive but was satisfactory. A server is assigned to each table, and they do a good job keeping drinks filled and dirty dishes removed. If I stayed for more than a couple of nights, I'd look for other options, but I was well fed for the night I stayed in the lodge.

Everything tasted traditional and comforting. Since it's near the military base, there were a lot of military customers, and I got the feeling many of them had spent time in Korea before. Popular dishes like bulgogi and spicy pork disappeared quickly, but the staff kept refilling them fast, so the buffet stayed fresh the whole time. The owner and staff were all very friendly and easy to talk to. They told me they became the new owners about five weeks ago and have been changing and improving many things. I really hope this place does well because authentic Korean food like this is not easy to find around here.

All the others that 4-5 ppl waiting to play. Within the first 4 hands there was a drunk guy talking about eating the a$$ of the 80 year old lady next to him. The waitress quoted me a twenty four dollar and fifty cent double Tito's and tonic, and the dealer dropped a handful of cards on the floor as she was laughing at the drunk dude, promoting how dumb he was acting. This place was clearly full of hillbilly locals. The atmosphere was super lame. Outside the casino is the hotel. No bars, music or anything to do. Unless you're stuck here like I was, I would avoid at all costs. For sure the worst casino I've ever been to in Indiana.

Spaten is a rare treat for and this is the first time I have even enjoyed it on tap. When I was leaving, I was able to buy a six pack of harder to find German beers. My adult son loves German beer and did not even recognize one I brought that he loved. Restraining myself, I made only modest purchases in the gift shop. This will not be true next visit. As far as the museum aspect, there are many displays. Down one wall are many car models, train models, liquor decanters and numerous other German items.
