Steak platter
Audrey R.

This was our first time here and we actually saw it recommended from Yelp. We definitely plan on coming back and trying the lamb next time. We got two platters one steak and one chicken. The portions were great and food delicious. It was such a big portion we both had enough for a second meal. The place was clean and we were super impressed by the 100 health score. The man at the front was friendly and gave us time to make sure we were happy with what we ordered.

Always been great! This new location is gorgeous and the food quality and quantity is still one of the best in Snellville. Staff is very friendly and very fast. Everything on the menu is fantastic but the gyro is the best. Definitely add this to your lunch plans, overall A+

Large portion, cheap price, great taste. Can't go wrong. Very nice lady. Each wrap is 10. Add combo is 4.50, which comes with choice of drinks, fries or Greek potatoes. Call ahead & delivery is available.

I went here on 9/9/23 for the first time ever. I placed my order and gave a $1.50 tip for service of the cashier. I got a gyro wrap combo comes with potatoes and a can lemon brisk tea. The gyro wrap tastes good. The potatoes are okay. It just was a little wait because everything is made to order. Also there was other customers in line before me.

Food is always delicious and consistent. The sauce is amazing and the fact that they are authentic is everything. The service is always timely and they get your order right. The ambiance is casual, comfortable to sit and eat, and very clean.

After a jog around Stone Mountain my stomach was growling and I was in the mood for Gyro... a quick Yelp! Search landed me here at Mr. Gyro. In a small strip mall of stores is Mr. Gyro: straight forward Greek takeout. Upon entering I was greeted by the young lady at the counter and reviewed the menu. The restaurant was very clean and the display of cakes/desserts looked delicious, maybe on a cheat day. I opted for the Gyro platter, with a green salad and the Greek potatoes as suggested by the young lady. It was pretty busy with takeout orders so my food took a good 10 minutes but it was worth it. Huge portion (enough for two) and piping hot. The salad was fresh, the gyro was seasoned well and juicy and this potato situation DELICIOUS. They were seasoned with some seasoning that I would buy if offered. Solid choice for familiar but tasty green fast food.

Where's the ingredients for this Greek salad?

So I ordered a Greek salad extra tomatoes, extra olives. I guess that's why I got no onions, no peppers, no cheese?

We ordered the gyro plate, there was enough meat for 3 servings! Everything was fantastic, service was great. I will definitely be back.

I had heard a lot about this restaurant and finally had the chance to meet some friends for lunch…read moretoday. Even after reviewing the menu online, the counter-ordering process can feel a bit overwhelming on your first visit, especially since the menu boards don't line up exactly with what's shown online. No worries, though--the staff is very helpful and happy to guide you through their many great options. My tablemates all enjoyed their selections, and I was very pleased with my Gyro Melt Combo. One thing that really stood out to me was how closely my meal matched the online promo photo--always a nice surprise. While I didn't try any desserts, the cakes and sweet treats on display definitely made me second-guess that decision. Looks like I have a good reason to come back.

From the makers who brought you Marietta Diner comes Yeero Village…read more It's a different style of restaurant compared to that of their predecessors that have become Atlanta staples (Cobb County). The ordering style is that of a fast food joint The service is that of your typical restaurant where they bring the food out to you. So the restaurant itself is very hybrid in terms of how they go about their business. This place is well lit, spacious, and homely yet corporate enough to pass as a franchise type joint. Seats roughly 90 people or so between 4 top tables and booths. It's clean, quaint, and with the traditional Greek soundtrack playing the background, they want you to sort of feel like you're looking at the Aegean Sea while a lyre is playing in the background... but really you're looking at Publix so they can only do so much. Let's go with the food... It's Yeero Village. So I had to try the traditional Greek style Gyro. There is something to be said for the attempt at authentic and it seems like they do it right here. The meat isn't the beef/lamb conglomerate we are all used to when we think "gyro". Here, for it to be authentically Greek, the meat is pork based, not beef based which is typical of the Americanized gyro, which is an interesting take. But rest assured, the gyro was flavorful!!! They married the flavors of the meat which was tender as all get out, the tzatziki sauce, and tomatoes all were balanced and intermingled well. And the pita was fluffy The salad was a bit disappointing. The romaine was shredded and you can't really get a good forkful. The dressing was tart. Too many tomatoes. And just three Kalamata olives??? Come on!!! I did opt for the Greek style potatoes which, I'm glad I did because they were cooked in a way that the flavors seemed to be infused into the potatoes which I was a big fan of! I also had to grab their rice pilaf. The rice was pillowy yet had an al dente texture to it that made each forkful all that more enjoyable! All in all, the folks who brought us Marietta Diner definitely had an idea and developed this place nicely! At $14.95 for a gyro combo with a side of your choice plus the aforementioned salad with tax and your choice for a tip, it's a good $16-$17 meal which is comparable to that of fast food or Panera just a few blocks down! Definitely recommend.

This was yet another solid eating experience at this fast food restaurant. I was glad to see that the service is still on point and the dining room is kept in very good shape such that it's better to eat in than take your order to go. Some of the best things in life are found when you're not looking. That's what happened when I first discovered this Grecian Gyros location - over 8 years ago. I'm glad it's still here. Not only that, painting up your business in the colors of the Greek flag is bound to have some marketing value ... it makes you want to drop in if driving along and you like Greek food. In fact, if transiting between Stone Mountain's unique outcropping and park and Atlanta through its east side, you could very easily be coming through here if not using 78 or wanting to shop or run some errands. I know that I plan to come back.

Regardless, Grecian Gyro is still awesome, though their prices have gone way up. After taxes, a gyro with potatoes, pita, and a small salad will run you close to $20 (plate), and a solo Gyro around $10. , If you love Greek food or just want to try something different than I would highly recommend checking this place out. It is a much healthier option. [Review 744] - 17th Review of 2025

I learned an important lesson today: sometimes you should trust your first lunch instinct…read more A coworker suggested Greek, and my mind immediately went to Adriatic Grill. Instead, we decided to try somewhere new and headed to Pita Corner in Lawrenceville. I ordered the beef shawarma with falafel. Let's start with the positives. The restaurant was clean, the dining area was well kept, and the restroom was spotless. It looked like it had just been cleaned, which I always appreciate. Now for the food. The beef shawarma had decent flavor, but it was so dry that every bite felt like a workout. The meat clung to the roof of my mouth and my teeth like it had signed a lease there. No amount of chewing seemed to improve the experience. Texture matters just as much as seasoning, and unfortunately, this missed the mark. The falafel ended up being the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful, had a nice texture, and was easily the best thing on the plate. I always like giving new places a chance, but this one just wasn't for me. While I appreciated the cleanliness and friendly environment, the food simply didn't leave me wanting to come back. If you'd like, I can also make it a little sharper and funnier for Yelp while still keeping it professional and believable.
