My friend and I ate at this restaurant two nights ago. I ordered the chicken and steak and my friend ordered the shrimp and chicken. When we received our food my friend's plate only had 5/6 pieces of shrimp and we asked is this everything that comes with it (we paid extra) the lady said yes order extra next time. We overlooked went home and ate. The rice was stiff and tasteless, very dry and the egg rolls were soggy. The steak tasted a little funny but I overlooked it which I shouldn't have. The next morning I was very sick and my stomach was messed up. I have been throwing up ever since I ate that and cannot get anything on my stomach. My friend was also sick!! This is my favorite place to eat on campus tbh. The food is really full of flavor and tastes really good. Its better than going to a real hibachi place sometimes because they have more options including bulgogi (my fave). Their entrees all come with 2 sides which includes a lot of options such as fried rice (which is delicious and im not even a huge fan of fried rice) steamed rice, shrimp tempura (extremely good once again) gyoza (also good) and others. To make it even better, i think its reasonably priced for the options they serve and its all made to order. In addition, the employees are kind and pretty patient. I received an apology but at that point the damage was done. Also, if you purchase the two sides one meat combo ($9.00+) you have to pay more for an additional white sauce. This place has pretty decent hibachi for really cheap! The location is really convenient if your a student at GSU like myself. I ordered what I would at any hibachi spot, steak and chicken with fried rice. The chicken and rice were spot on, the steak however, was really chewy. Mr. Hibachi is my go-to lunch stop any time that I'm in Atlanta Downtown Area. You get the same food as at a sit down Japanese Grille but at less than half the price. My favorite is the Chicken Katsu with their homemade Katsu sauce. I find all their sides delicious and appetizing especially the Gyoza and Crab Tempera. As a GSU student, I've walked passed this place while walking to class and decided to give it a try. The service was fairly slow. There was a long line and no one at the register. She took the orders and it took about 15 minutes to get the food out. The food wasn't in any way resembling Japanese/hibachi food. I ordered the chicken and shrimp entree with fried rice and hibachi vegetables. The shrimp was bland and the chicken just tasted like black pepper. It's right on a college campus so they get very busy, but they are still able to get your food to you in a timely manner. The chicken teriyaki combo is perfect, and it's right under $9. My go-to place for comfort food. Ever so often I come to this area to visit the office and almost always this is my choice for Asian fusion. Their chicken and shrimp combo is killer and enough portion for 2 meals for me. The chicken sauce is plenty and with their fried rice, it's a filling combo that will satisfy. The price is great (below $10 with portion a plenty) I love their shrimp tempura side and they make it with a perfect crunch everytime .The vegetable side is also not bad. Their extra white sauce and chili sauce adds a nice dimension to the food. I come from Thailand so don't expect the chili sauce to be real mouth-burning spicy but it is flavorful.
