I used to love this location. Today I went into the store to order a Cali Tuna. The staff wasn't very friendly and made me feel like an inconvenience so when I got home and opened the sandwich to find the fish had gone rancid, I was hesitant to go back. Obviously they weren't pleased to see me and when I had informed them that the fish had smelled rotten, the lady behind the counter held up the tub of tuna and said, "still good til tomorrow". I invited her to smell the product, she declined and asked very impatiently if I wanted a refund or new sandwich. I chose to wait for a new sandwich feeling like the smallest person in the room at this point. A different staff member than the one I had spoken with brought out my new sandwich with a scowl and sneered "have a better day" to me. Needless to say I won't be visiting this location ever again. We usually love a good Mr pickles sandwich, been going for years. Today's sandwich was pathetic and small and didn't taste as good. We don't order chips or drinks. The prices have gone up and the sandwich size for a medium has shrunk. It was hot dog bun size. The cookies used to be good sized and tasted home made. I know running a small business in California is tough and they are trying to save money but our Mr Pickles has hit an all time low. I ordered a got beef on sourdough. The new "sourdough" they have is a sweet roll and not sourdough. There was very little roast beef and 1 slice of pastrami. After an hour in an ice chest (no water in it) and the bread was saturated. Bought a sandwich tonight, 5-16-24 at 6:47 P.M. I thought it was just weird that I ordered a sandwich with just chicken breast, cheddar cheese, and ranch. When I checked my receipt, it had been rung up as a BBQ Melt?? Ok, no big deal. Hopefully, they charged me the right price. Then, halfway through my sandwich, I ended up taking a bite of straight raw bacon or ham. What if I did not eat pork for religious reasons? Or if somebody was possibly allergic? Absolutely disgusting that their food handlers would allow this. I will be discussing this with someone who knows more about this industry to see if it is as big of a problem as I believe it is. I debated leaving this review, but after much reflection, I think it's worth sharing. Yesterday my sister and I stopped in for lunch around 1 pm. The restaurant was quiet, just one other person ordering in front of us. We weren't even acknowledged as we came in, and when it came time to order it was a very awkward experience. Like the workers were annoyed we were there. I ordered my food and paid, the cashier was polite. Here's where my experience went from okay to awful. My sister was ordering behind me, mind you we had waited a good 15 minutes at this point to finally get food, as the drive through was being served before us. The worker was rude to her and corrected how she was ordering her sandwich, once her order was in, a gentleman walked through the door and was enthusiastically greeted and served before my sister received her order. This level of service is not okay, you should serve who is there first and has been waiting. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes before my sister finally received her order and we could finally eat together. I am so disappointed in this locations service. I have never been treated so dismissively by a Mr. Pickles location. The food was good, bread was fresh and ingredients on the sandwich were nicely distributed. A for food quality. It was a good sandwich. D for service, dismissive and if you obviously aren't a regular they couldn't care less about when you receive your order. read more

Went into the store and ordered 2 sandwiches. The place was pretty busy. Had asked for no mayo and only mustard on 1 of the sandwiches. When I got home I saw that she ended up putting mayo even after I requested no mayo. I geuss it's my fault for not checking before I left the store. This was my first visit. What makes the place stand out are the employees. These kids were friendly and gave me tips on ordering. At a time when nobody wants to work, they worked as a team to get orders out. Then I accidentally left my credit card behind and they searched for me on social media to let me know! I love Mr. Pickles, I truly do, but this location definitely disappointed me. The staff here was friendly and quick, and we still got a tasty sandwich. But as the tiktokers says, "it's the not enforcing masks for me." When we were ordering to-go inside the sandwich shop, at least half of the customers were not wearing masks and staff did not say anything. They do have a sign on the front door that says, "we kindly ask that you wear a mask. Thank you!", but obviously they'll still serve you if you forgo a mask. Staff didn't even suggest customers to put on a mask as they walked in, it was very permissible. Also, the staff were constantly touching their masks as they were wearing gloves and handling the food. Online pickup order was messed up, a coworker picked up and turns out and I was missing some things. I wasn't able to leave work again to have it corrected, so I called and asked for a refund for the things they neglected to put in my order. I was told they could mail me a gift card or write my name down to come get it later. Again, can't leave work to come get it later, all I'm asking for is a refund and they apparently can't do that.
