We were hankering for good burgers and Yelp directed us to this spot just up the hill from us in Shingle Springs. It's a nice, friendly neighborhood spot with a full bar, lots of seating, pool tables and a little arcade. The menu has lots of burgers and plenty of other great choices. And the burgers did not disappoint! I went for the PacMan, a basic cheeseburger, and my husband had the BlueCue. Both were delicious and juicy, and the buns tasted super fresh. We subbed salad for our sides and it was a really nice salad with cheese, onions, and tomatoes, not just a few greens. Servers were all really friendly and we had plenty of time to enjoy even though we arrived close to last call. We will definitely be back! read more

Wanted to watch the Broncos vs Bills game and enjoy some nice drinks. So I found this place. Based on their menu online I wasent sure if they had cocktails. But I called them up and they said they do have a full bar. So here we are!! There's plenty of seating. They have a bar area. Then a restaurant style area with booth seating. Then some high tops where the pool tables are. As well as some regular tables in front of the TV. They have the ability to turn the game sound on as shown by when the 49ers game came on (they got smacked by the Seahawks). But during the Broncos game they had the music playing but thats ok. The tvs here are at least 55 inch tvs. Crystal clear. Great for watching the games. There were no Broncos fans or Bills fans here. So it was just my wife and I having basically the entire place to ourselves for the game. We sat (stood too) for the entire game. It was an epic OT win by the Broncos. We each ordered about 4 drinks and had 2 apps. The drinks were all very pretty. Some were good. Some not so much. They are able to make up drinks on the fly as well as customize them. We had their boneless wings and pretzel sticks. Good finger food type snacks. Our waitress disappeared for long periods of time. I think initially she was annoyed that we were just ordering drinks. But I feel like we made it worth her while with 8 drinks and 2 apps ordered.... They have a small arcade to the back. As well as a large private event room. No tvs in there as everyone was coming out to watch the ending of the Broncos game. Overall a nice restaurant. Lots of older people here. But also some families and young people on dates too. My friend and I went here for lunch and we had a $60 bill between the two of us and it was not a good meal. We ordered appetizers our meals and dessert. My friend and I work in food service and it appeared as though everything was cooked in dirty oil. It had dirty oil taste to the food. The food looked like it had been cooked in dirty oil. I ordered a salad and I felt as though I had paid cost $18 for a bowl of lettuce. The brownie dessert that we ordered, the brownie tasted burnt. Their menu items sound fabulous my friend and I had a hard time choosing between three or four items that we wanted to try. However, the execution of their menu items was terrible. And this is kind of disappointing because it looks like a great place to watch the game, play pool, family friendly. read more

A hidden gem in the foothills!!! Have been here a handful of times now and the food is great quality, homemade, and service is excellent!! I usually get the fish and chips which is super tasty, with homemade tater sauce. Today I tried out the burger and it was equally amazing! The service is great, the servers check in enough times, are friendly, and even other servers will check in on you, it's more like a team effort. We normally order to go from here all the time but after today's horrible service and lack if quality never again. My husband and I ordered 2 burger meals for pick. After submitting the order on Doordash my husband went to pick it up and when he went in he waited 10 minutes before being acknowledged or greeted. The hostess was so rude she just handed the order and walked to the back. We didn't have the opportunity to ask for condiments or leave a tip. When we opened our orders at home the food was dry. There wasn't even napkins included in our bag. It's really sad because we usually have a good experience here and try to support our local businesses as much as we can. Honestly, you're better off going to The Habit Burger or going to Redhawk Casino for better service and food. read more

I do allot of time here at this eatery and I have found it to be an incredible place to eat. I work close by so the location is conveniant and they really care for their customers. The staff is wonderful and they serve with joy. They are considerate of the needs of thier customers and it is a wonderful place to have lunch on a Sunday during the NFL season and chill to watch you guessed it .... THE NINERS! Raider fans don't hate they will even treat you right! Now let's get into the food which is important. Their hamburgers are wonderful always cooked the way that I want it and they have incredible gluten free buns. I enjoy the chicken pesto sandwhich which is one of my favorites and they have "TATER TOTS" that rock! I also enjoy their Buffalo Chicken Salad which is remarkable and during the winter months their turkey chili is just what you are looking for and the taste is magnificent. If you have children they have an arcade and several pool tables which are fun. The only reason why I did not give this place five stars is because the parking can be challenging during the busy times and people coming from the post office drive like it is the Zombie Apocalypse and you are the Zombie. I really like this place and highly recommend that you come on a lazy saturday afternoon and just enjoy the food and ther vibe. read more

We had a terrible experience. We usually love this place. Tonight was aweful. We called in a to go order. The girl on tje phone was new and incapable of answering questions about the food. We had to ask her to please ask someone who did know. Then another lady ( that is using the term loosely) got on the phone with all kinds of sassy. We very nicely explained that the original girl needed more training and a better attitude. The "lady" just hung up on us" no apology, no attempt to fix a thing. It was as if she was trying to escalate the issue or make it worse to justify her terribleness. We couldn't have been more patient or kind and definitely did not deserve the nastiness from the breakroom employees. Shame on y'all this is why so many businesses go under in small towns. They have to take whomever they can get as employees and those employees run the business into the ground. read more

Stopped by after leaving Apple Hill to grab lunch around 3pm on a Friday. Service was swift and nice, place was clean and great booths. We didn't get one but a bunch of good beers on tap (Device Brew). The pretzels with beer cheese were really good, lots of flavor. Will order again. I got the Ortega chili burger and man, it was great. Med rare, fresh burger patty, lots of chilies and the homemade pimento.
