We had a leak in our bathroom. I called Mr. Rooter on Saturday morning and explained our problem. They checked and called me back to say that a plumber would be at my house at 9:30. At exactly 9:30 Jacob was there. This was the second time I had Mr. Rooter out and both times the plumbers were there at the scheduled time. How often does this happen? Jacob was so professional, put a Mr. Rooter rug down first and put on a pair of booties over his boots before coming into our house. When he walked into the bathroom he immediately heard the leak but of course it was hard to tell exactly where it was coming from. He cut a small hole in the board underneath our sink and could see the area was wet but couldn't actually see the leak. The sink was on an outside wall and thought maybe that would be the best place to open but didn't really want to do that. He told me about Craig, with Precision Utility Locating that was really good about detecting leaks. Craig did not work for Mr. Rooter but they often called him when the leak was hard to find and they didn't want to start cutting holes in the walls that weren't necessary. This of course is a totally separate charge but we knew that before he called him. While Jacob was waiting for Craig to come, it was a couple of hours, he didn't just sit around. Prior to this he told us about their Advantage Plan and how we could save money on labor and proceeded to explain the plan to us. We agreed to pay for one of the services which saved us money immediately on this call. Jacob proceeded to check our sewer line with a camera, all of our sinks etc. and much more. You will have to read about the plans but they sounded good to us. Craig came out and located the leak and when Jacob cut a hole where Craig said it was right there. Jacob was able to repair the leak in 10 minutes. He removed all the insulation and the back of our sink cabinet. He cleaned everything up and hauled away all the trash. Jacob was here till almost 6 pm and the estimate did not change from the initial estimate. They evaluate the job and give you an estimate that you agree to before they start working. They did not charge by the hour like most plumbing companies do. Jacob was so professional and such a nice man. He truly cared about our home and his priority was to make sure we were satisfied with everything he did. I received a call on Sunday morning from a lady employee at Mr. Rooter wanting to make sure that we were satisfied with the work that was done. It's truly amazing how this company does business. I will never call another plumbing company except for Mr. Rooter again. I will recommend Mr. Rooter to all of my friends and neighbors. Thank you Jacob for doing such a great job. read more

Daniel, Tom and Andrew GREAT Professional Techs, ALL! THEY REALLY DO CARE! It doesn't seem right to call them just Plumbers when they're So Much More and now are our friends too. My Wife & I had a Major Emergency, our 34 year old Septic System was completely DONE, Toast, finished with collapsed piping and roots grown throughout the leach-fields. Naturally all our bathrooms backed up, that night right after we came home from my Wife having an involved, painful Medical procedure. Daniel and Tom meticulously installed the state of the art chambered system. valves, piping All while they tackled a whole host of serious underground challenges posed by gas lines, water lines, cable TV and more. Before they left, they put our yard back into as good a shape as it was before, and they left my Wife and I as two Genuinely Satisfied, Happy Customers to say the least. I was a Contractor myself so I was a tough customer but had every one of my concerns addressed. In mid-February a flooring installer said both our toilets were leaking and needed new flanges. Being new to Camp Verde we didn't know what plumbing service to contact. Our son is friends with the owner of Mr. Rooter in Camp Verde, so that's who we turned to. We went into their office and were greeted and listened to right away. We expected them to say they could come to our home the following week...but instead, they scheduled Alex to come to our home that same day. We were given an estimate, a senior discount, and immediately scheduled for the next morning. Upon removing the toilets, Alex determined there were no leaks and that only one toilet needed the flange replaced. He could have easily done both, and charged us for both, but he was honest regarding what really needed to be done. Plus, he did a free video inspection of the entire sewer line. Expecting the flooring people to return to finish their work, Alex reinstalled only one toilet and left the other one off. We made arrangements with Mr. Rooter that once the flooring was completed we wanted Alex to reinstall the toilets, not a flooring installer. I offered to pay at this point and was told I can pay when the job is 100% completed. When the flooring installer did not return and we were expecting company, Alex returned to reinstall the guest toilet. For the next month, with our consent, the Mr. Rooter office ladies (Bev and Sadie) called each week inquiring about the progress, or lack thereof, of our flooring. They were so patient with us. Finally after almost two months, and a different flooring company, our flooring was installed. Within a few hours of completion, Alex was back at our home reinstalling our toilets again. Although we hope we don't need a plumber again soon, with the 1 year warranty, the genuine concern, trust (in not paying our bill for 2 months), and friendliness of Alex (and the rest of the staff), when we do, no doubt it will be Mr. Rooter of Camp Verde, and hopefully Alex. read more

When I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing, I was frantic because I had a leak coming from my garage and did not know where it was coming from. I explained to the woman who answered the phone that I had reason to believe it might be the fire/sprinkler system, but could not be sure and I asked her if someone could come out and help me. They said they could have someone to my home within 30 minutes. Clinton, the technician, arrived in less than 30 minutes and explained to me that there would be a standard diagnostic fee to go up into my attic and find the source of the leak and after doing so, he would then write up an estimate of how much it would cost to complete the work, if I chose to do so. Long story short, Clinton not only found the source of the leak, which was coming from my HVAC Air Handler, he took the time to push away any wet insultation and treat the area to prevent any further damage to my drywall. While Mr. Rooter does not work on HVAC systems, Clinton was kind enough to take the time to help me by talking to my home warranty company and explaining to them what the issue was so they could get someone out here right away. Additionally, Clinton also advised me to turn off my air AND showed me where the fire/sprinkler valve was located should I ever experience problems with it in the future. Last but not least, Clinton explained that Mr. Rooter has, what's called, an advantage plan that will save me money in the future-a plan I plan to purchase and would highly recommend to anyone. He went out of his way to make sure I knew what to do moving forward, before leaving my home. In short, I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter to any of my friends and family- it is clear they take pride in their work and truly care about their customers! EXCELLENT customer service! read more

I typically dread having to call a plumber. The last time that I did, it resulted in a ten foot by ten foot hole in the street that was twelve feet deep and lasted for two weeks. This time was different. When I called Mister Rooter, I was greeted by a most cheerful voice belonging to Sadie. She was so upbeat and personable that I felt more like I was taking delivery of a new car instead of scheduling a repair. She plugged me into the earliest appointment and explained what would happen next. Sadie was super efficient and I was set. On the morning of my appointment, Beverly called and informed me that a technician had finished a job early in my area and could arrive before my appointment. She was so jovial that I had thoughts of making her my next wife. I couldn't take the new appointment but Beverly was understanding. Just before the appointed time, Jacob called to let me know that he could arrive a little early if that was acceptable to me. I agreed and he showed up in Covid-19 attire. We discussed the problem I was having and Jacob quickly analyzed the situation and presented several possible scenarios for resolution. We decided on a plan and Jacob went into action. He cured the problem and buttoned everything up in less time that it takes to boil grits. Jacob then performed a whole house survey of the plumbing and prepared the bill and advised me on some routine maintenance issues. My day was really complete when Beverly called to verify my satisfaction. I cannot get enough of her jovial demeanor. I may stop up another sink just to talk to Beverly. read more

I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Rooter Plumbing for everything they did for us. They were wonderful! We were confident that we were in good hands from the moment we picked up the phone and called them. Lee Ann the dispatcher was super cheerful and friendly .They came out that same day right on time. They had professional trucks, equipment and computers. I liked that they were dressed in clean and neat uniforms. Our plumbing problem turned out to be much more serious than we had thought and they worked hard mentally and physically for two long days to fix the problem. This company far exceeded my expectations. My water heater literally burned out on a Friday night, and I called Mr. Rooter the next morning. The phone was answered immediately by very professional staff and within a short time I was placed on the emergency service schedule for that afternoon. Rich Carter, the service technician was able to arrive even earlier than scheduled. He was amazing! Very professional, very knowledgeable, very organized, efficient, and pleasant. He gave me a thorough assessment and estimate and worked to keep costs down as much as possible and made sure I clearly understood the service agreement. He then spent the next 6 hours working quickly and efficiently to remove and replace my dinosaur of a water heater. The job was more difficult than anticipated due to the age of the appliance and updating code requirements, but Rich was able to address every difficulty that came up, cheerfully, quickly, and effectively, and no cost was added to the original estimate, despite the unforeseen challenges and replacement parts. The final result is a beautifully installed and efficient water heater. The old appliance was hauled away, the work area cleaned, and all debris removed. The best part of the services was the representative, Clinton. He was professional and very knowledgeable in all the facts concerning septic systems. He arrived timely, advised me of each step and the costs associated with the problems and he resolved a great deal in a short period of time. His team member, Ray was called in to assist when the job required more assistance and he too was professional and friendly. These two worked all day for 2 days in the hot sun to complete the project and when they had finished (after having dug a grave depth hole) I couldn't have known there was work done. Every pebble was in its place! What I found disturbing was the cost of the whole job. After an online search I discovered that while within the parameters of cost for this particular repair $5000, it was at the highest end. I realized I should have gotten other quotes and checked Yelp. That was my failing. But all in all they provide excellent prompt services and the men were spectacular in their work. I am assured that the finished project is good to go. The original contractor was the cause of the problems these guys solved. My tank had sunk into its own sink hole created by faulty seals and further complicated by a cement block in front of the effluent drain. If not for them I would have had huge problems into my house!! read more

Last month after our water bill suddenly went sky high but there were no water leaks in the house, the water company sent a specialist who came out and discerned that the water from the underground pipes outside and under the house were leaking downward into the ground. We contacted Mr. Rooter to help, and luckily it was Clint who came! He was able to assess that the old underground water lines were rotting and had holes and needed to be replaced. Clint and his manager Louis came up with a plan that Clint was able to carry out that spared digging up the floors in the house or the driveway, much to our relief! For over 3 three weeks Clint, and his wonderful part-time helpers Justin or Kyle worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were all very respectful, diligent, hard-working, and prompt. Whenever Clint was presented with an obstacle he figured a way around it, and he very often worked alone all day. He answered all our questions with great patience and knowledge. Everything at the end looked absolutely perfect and we are so pleased and grateful! We'll always use Mr. Rooter from now on, and we want it to be Clint who is at the door! read more

I'm not sure what some of the less than stellar reviews are about, but I have nothing but praise for Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Yavapai County. No one likes to pay plumber prices, especially on a holiday. But when you're tired of driving to Starbucks every three hours to use their restroom, hoping to wait until it's no longer a holiday, well, you get the idea. My awesome technician, Cameron, arrived within three hours and early to my appointment time. He listened to the symptoms, gave me different scenarios and the options for resolution, including pricing and started to work. I'm sure you've had to call similar emergency plumbing companies which I will not name here, and the smelly and sloppy technician does resolve your issue but it's not a pleasant experience. He acts like he'd rather be home drinking beer and grilling hot dogs on a holiday instead of pulling your toilet and snaking the lines. Not Cameron. He was smart, courteous, experienced, tidy, clean and respectful of my home. He went above and beyond my expectations. Don't hesitate to call them when you're tired of using your neighbors bathroom or driving 3 miles to Starbucks. read more

I worked for this company in Camp Verde in approx 2011 as a plumber with 20 years of experience. The manager Larry is a total idiot with absolutely no plumbing history. He claims he was previously In the real estate business before it crashed in 2008. He is proud to say, "we fire faster than we hire". Tim the owner tolerates and supports Larry's decisions. None of the employees were plumbers with any experience when I worked there except ' Nate' and Tim the owner. These guys charge plumber prices and are all about up selling. They check your entire plumbing system with a check list you have to sign off on, giving them the opportunity to scare you into replacing things that do not need to be. The best one is the water heater temp. and pressure relief valve. The pitch is, " your heater may explode like a bomb if the valve is not replaced". Or the offer of free camera inspection to show you how bad your pipes look in order to sell you on repair. The only reason this business is afloat is because of their franchise exposure and labeled vans. My advice? Fancy vans and logos are just that. If you need a plumber, call a real one. read more

We noticed that our spare bathroom toilet was not flushing after repeated attempts to unclog it with a plunger. It was then noticed that the shower in our master bedroom was bubbling. We also had out of town guests coming up that day. I contacted a local septic contractor and he recommended calling Mr Rooter. I called Mr Rooter and within a couple hours had technician Brandon respond. He used a camera which poked through the clog and all sewage drained into the tank. He noticed that there was a belly in the line between the clean out and the tank. That belly after draining still had water in it so the backup is going to occur again in the future. Brandon was professional and friendly the entire visit and upon completion provided two estimates and a description of the work done so that I can turn it into the Builder of my home for repair. If the Builder chooses he can have Mr Rooter perform the work we're decided to have someone else do it. I would highly recommend the Mr Rooter company and Brandon in particular! This is definitely one of the best customer service experiences I have had since and during my home build. read more

Getting through dispatch was a little awkward, because I called on a Friday night to explain I needed urgent service the next day, Saturday, and was told someone would call t schedule. Our septic was backed up into both bathrooms We didn't get a call the next day, early enough to reflect the urgency we purported. So I called again, got to someone, who got to the technician, James. James came out within about 90 minutes of the call, and that's where the true value of the service began !! James was courteous communicative, and knowledgeable. He engaged in smart questions of what was happening, how did it happen, and if anything was done prior to his visit. He laid out a plan of action, and methodically attempted each task until it was successful. He informed us at each point of a new work task, what the cost was ... so there were no surprises. He actually used logic and experience to diagnose the most effective solution to our problem, did it with purpose and compassion. A rare find in the service industry today . We would use them again for sure, we just hope we don't !!! read more

We live in a 65 year old home that has continuing plumbing problems. These usually happen on a weekend or at night! I was thrilled to find Mr. Rooter answers calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (no extra charge for these emergencies). Vinnie came very early to fix our problem. First he put a mat at the door, & booties over his shoes. I'm impressed!!! Was very patient with all our questions. ONE plumbing crisis, but many many other troubling issues to ask about. He explained what we could do about each of them. Actually took out his drain pipe camera (no charge) to check on two different lines (which were full of root balls, ugh). Explained how long it would take, what the costs would be for all these other issues & even told us realistically how "permanent" those fixes would be. There was NO feeling that he was rushing to the next appointment, he explained so much. Now we that we know what is wrong, we can address those most important issues in the near future, not waiting for the next "emergency". I've been using this company off and on for several years. They aren't the least expensive, but I'll tell you, they are the best! I have a vacation rental and a sump pump...not a good combination. Last night, the guest reported sewage backing into the shower and bathtub. I got in touch with Beverly at 8 a.m., and she had someone at the house by 9:30. Beverly has always taken my calls these past few years, and she feels like a family member who is there to help. She is always helpful and talks me off a ledge when I'm stressed about a plumbing issue. Thank you, Beverly! Ryan was my service tech, and, like all their staff, he was prompt, courteous, and professional. He informed me about each step and took pictures to show me what the problem was and the resolution. He handled a disgusting job that almost all people would not touch. They resolved my issue, and my current guest was very happy. I've been a customer of Mr. Rooter for a few years now, and I couldn't be happier. They've done routine plumbing work for me (like replacing a garbage disposal and fixing leaks), but they've been there for me during emergencies too. I have to say that, no matter the circumstance, the company is the epitome of professionalism. They are very fair in their pricing, too (I've checked)  As a retired person and a woman, I greatly appreciate the way they do business. I never worry about being taken advantage of. Recently, I had a drain backup and discovered, to my horror, that there was a branching off the same line inside my house which had never been closed off. Not only did I have a clogged sink, I had a river running through my kitchen! Thankfully, Mr. Rooter got me sorted quickly, and the 5 year warranty from the prior clogged sink problem covered the cost! That was a big relief, I don't mind telling you. Response time was quick, removal, replacement, testing and completion of job even quicker. Taylor arrived ontime greeted us with a smile, was easygoing and attentive to our needs and did not falter while being bombarded with questions, some loaded which he answered correctly while educating us on the others. I asked if we look at our septic system, he did as well as explain how my system works and what look for to identify any problems and a variety of options for repairs. He also answered my question on how our deep well pump system works and pointed out key components and their operation. Even showed me a diagram to visualize how it all worked. Overall great service and job, Taylor gets an A+ and will be requested next time. All i would change is the markup value, if my math was right using the high end of retail price for materials, bringing cost closer to retail would be a fair adjustment and still be profitable. This company is what I received from Angi's list for an emergency water line leak, and the first to respond unfortunately. The first repair did stop the leak, but I was not shown any gauges displaying water pressure, just told what it was and any work would not be under warranty. I paid $1990 for a 50 cent part. Less than a month later the leak was back, and they wanted another $2500 to repair and add a pressure reducing valve. They did say they would repair the work if found to be a result of their previous work, but also tried to convince me the entire line to the home needed to be replaced. I got a second opinion, who found the leak and the 50 cent part from Mr. Rooter defective, had the water pressure reducing valve installed and water line repaired with 2 year warranty by another company for $1100. Wish Angi's list would have referred me to them, Gold Star, in the first place. This company took advantage of the emergency nature of the work. read more

We had a slow draining tub, and called Mr. Rooter for help. The local office was extremely nice, and it was simple to set up an appointment. The technician, Clinton B., arrived promptly on time with a trainee. Both employees were courteous, professional, polite, and took their time explaining my plumbing issues. They diagnosed the problem, we discussed prices, and they got to work. I was impressed enough with their professionalism, courteousness, efficient work time, and friendly can-do attitudes that I chose to purchase a Maintenance Program package. We have an older house, that may or may not experience more plumbing problems in the future. In fact, Clinton was able to identify a problem with our hot water heater that we were not aware of during the routing inspection of our plumbing. I am confident that Mr. Rooter, and Clinton in particular, will be able to fix any issues that we may have. Two thumbs up, and highly recommend their service! read more
