Great service! I was using a different plumber who was "fine," but decided to give Mr. Rooter a try after getting a coupon in the mail. I really appreciated the quality of their service. My phone call was answered right away, and they were very flexible with scheduling. On the day of, I received two calls - one with a 2 hour estimate, and one a few minutes before they arrived. My receipt was in my inbox within 90 minutes of the service being finished. Prices were reasonable for the simple work we had done, and the plumber himself was very nice. They don't appear to charge by the hour, so everything is done quickly and to a high standard. I would use them again! read more

I have very mixed feelings about experience with them. Pros: the appointment was setup very quickly and technician came over right on time. Cons: As for the job itself, the technician gave me one expensive option and I specifically asked if there's any other option to get it done, it's in the garage and I didn't need anything pretty or fancy. The answer was no, no other possibility. It was expensive and I decided to request a quote from another company. The other company offered me two options, the same expensive one for the same price and a cheaper, simpler alternative, 3x cheaper. I went for it and everything was fixed. So I didn't hire mr rooter plumbing of LB because either the technician didn't know that there are other ways to get it done or they didn't disclose the cheaper option. This most recent visit disclosed a problem within the wall where a probable "do-it-yourself" wrongly joined two incompatible metals. No one has eyes that see through walls so this unexpected problem was discussed and the solution provided. I've dealt with dozens of plumbers over the last 40 years, and Mr Rooter is one of the 2 best I've ever used. The best plumber for cleaning my mainline that I've found in the last 10 years. Gave me a price upfront and charged that price, used an actual 4" rooter blade -- not just the snake by itself that other plumbers use that only punches a small ~5/8" hole in the clog only a couple of months -- that really cleaned my mainline without any high-pressure, scare tactic upsell effort. A true professional that really knew what he was doing, a good price for excellent work. Mr Rooter will be the ONLY plumber I call from now on for drain work. Compared to Mr Rooter, the other 5 to 10 plumbers I've tried in the last 10 years were all high-pressure used car-like scumbag salesman trying to make a greedy profit by turning a simple $100 to $175 rotorooter job into an unnecessary $1,000+ hydrojetting job with no or only short warranty not to plug up again. read more

I've been using these folks for years and have never been disappointed. Some big jobs, some little jobs, and today turned out to be no job. I saw what appeared to be a possible leaking pipe outside as it had gunk, if I may use the technical term, around the connections at the trap. Really didn't know what to make of it, so I called Mr. Rooter. They sent technician Danny Meza who was here within a couple hours of my call, as promised. He took one look at the gunk and said "Hhmmmm." I asked what was wrong, and he said "Absolutely nothing." He knocked the gunk off, assured me it was simply condensation and moss, and went on his way. Wow! I called them, and they came within the hour. When they asked for my address they had mentioned the prior homeowners name (we're the new owners of the house). Which was good, because it meant that the prior owner used the same service! Anyway, dude came in and fixed our clogged toilet in like 2 minutes. $79 gone in two minutes. But shoot, it's worth it. Showed up right on time, he noticed that we do not wear shoes in our house and without asking he removed his shoes. Very nice. He looked at the sink and gave an estimate of time and cost and then he was quickly into the repair. It didn't take him long to snake the drain line and then repair the sink drain.
