I was at another smog station waiting to be see and over heard the technician telling an elderly lady all the EXPENSIVE recommendations. I had this ugly feeling in my stomach and left. Smog time! Ugh. Two older cars. Both kept by a mechanic of 32 years. These guys are extremely thorough. I had to work so i went late. Day before thanks giving everyone else closing up right.... wife got a fix it ticket for no smog and my truck needed smog also. There was a couple customers, they were in and out so fast! The two guys on duty, were professional and very well mannered. The wife's passed. Mine.... but they held true to the "pass or dont pay" i know whats wrong and thought i could slide and no dice. My fan is cutting out and my cat is clogged. They caught it. Good on them. Very knowledgeable staff and such a clean shop. They even did a newer car in and out while one guy did mine. 1 star only because there isn't an option for ZERO or even a negative. These people, especially the owner himself, are total crooks. No, I am not mad because my car failed smog due to this car not being driven enough after new battery install. car passed with flying colors the next day for half the price these guys charged us. Owner says there are so much labor involved in testing, tell me How much "labor" is involved in an easy OBDII connect to see if all the sensors are ready for a test? not to mention owner telling me that I may be an undercover trying to bust cheating smog places. Is extra few bucks really worth bad reviews? yes, we all gotta pay rent/overhead, etc but don't go ripping people off assuming we don't know anything. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The owner is a crook! First off its not a pass or don't pay. He put our car on the machine, it didn't pass and the owner said OH, have you jumped your car or changed the gas cap...we said yes and he said OH that's why you didn't pass. You need to drive the car around some. So you would think he would let us drive it around and bring it back since we already paid BUT no he said we had to pay all over again and bring it back. Then he had the nerve to say OH you shouldve Googled that so you would know it wouldn't pass. He just lost my business and anyone I know. STAY AWAY read more

After sifting through a few smog stations whose staff was out to lunch, or that had parking lots filled to the brim with vehicles, I found this little gem. The service was fast and hassle free, and the guy helping me even took the time to go over the implications of aftermarket car parts and the fact that though I have them, the CARB sticker I owned validated the parts as legal (I already knew all of this, but the gesture was very much appreciated regardless). I went somewhere else and my car didn't pass and I went to 3 other smog places trying to understand the problem but no one would take a look at the car the guy here (named chuey) he gave it a look told me what I needed fixed and he even gave the time to check the car to see if it would pass before he even tested it and I came back with flying colors. Great guy great service wouldn't go anywhere else. $50 but with the coupons online only 45 but still worth it cuss you get effort here not just someone trying to get your money and charge hidden fees.
