I get the Tripa's a little crispy and can't stop eating my tacos until they are gone and the flavors on the Fajita's are awesome. I've eaten here several times, mostly because Fuel City is too far away. But this place doesn't disappoint. Typically get 3 or 4 Spicy Pork tacos with grilled onions and cilantro, then dump a good helping of their hot sauce on top and leave more than satisfied. I've also tried their nachos which were fair to good but not great. Service is better than average with above average cleanliness. I have followed them since they had a location in a gas station off Parker and Ave K, then moved to Spring Creek and Ave K in Plano... Now that they have moved to Mckinney I'm in love even more! My favorite Mexican food spot in Texas for 2 years running. Small hole in the wall, family owned and run, friendly place with excellent food. Had the Super chicken burrito; wife and daughter both had the Tako special with beans, rice and 3 tacos. Nothing fancy. Nothing too spicy. Just good food with great taste! read more

Nice spot in McKinney to stop at for a quick dinner! Loved the street tacos -- especially the barbacoa and campechana!! I'm usually not a fan of barbacoa but whatever they do to the barbacoa here makes it amazingly tasty. And the campechana is a mix of meats include pork and chorizo so you really can't beat that combination! Also -- beware of the red sauce -- it is delicious but one of those where the spice creeps up on you!! Definitely will come back if I'm in town again. read more

I tried this place out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised to find authentic and delicious Mexican snack food. The decor still needs to be set up so the place is still a little austere but the food is worth the Spartan atmosphere. The food is great, but every time I have called on my lunch break to order take-out the phone line is either busy or someone picks up and says "Mr Tako, Please hold" and I waited several times on hold for 15 minutes. This little joint packs big flavor! We tried Mr Tako today and it did not disappoint. The kids enjoyed their quesadillas while the hubs and I got the House Special taco plate with chicken and steak tacos. Both meats were good but the steak had amazing flavor. Came here in search of good Mexican food, which is extremely hard to find in North Texas apparently. We had the street tacos, el pastor, chicken and fajita beef. The beans and rice were good too! All was very good! We are so excited to find a good place to come when we really crave Mexican food and not Tex-Mex. Don't be afraid of the little strip mall.
