Obsessed with this place! Great food, amazing service--everything's spot on! Definitely order any of the tacos.

Radish here with the family! We got a bit hungry after a science museum and came here! I ordered the veggie taco and it was good and fresh but I'm afraid of bell peppers & it was the main ingredient so I cried. Anyways!! The rest of the food my family ordered was good and they said the reviews of "flavorless" food is because the food is very fresh. If you want "flavor" order something spicy, nerd. Unfortunately their soda machine was out of carbonation but they gave us bottled drinks with no price change. (Lil bro said the fries were good) soda was tasty. I ate a lime

When my Nextdoor.com buzzed about this place, I questioned is it worth the hype? It's worth the hype! I grew up with my Mexican-American bestie and this food reminds me of what her dad would prepare. The manager looks similar to Enrique Iglesias but you're here for a different kind of meat. Ha! As a creature of habit, I suggest the carne asada tacos and I order it a la carte. The kids meals are a great value. After church, sometimes you just want a corona and a slice of a lime? Big Tacos has you covered. The music and ambiance are family friendly. Casual dining. Certain peak times will have you waiting a tad. They are a newer establishment and this is to be expected. I've encouraged the manager to get on Doordash! We need authentic taqueria places to spice up McKinney's food scene. Big Tacos has have arrived!

Read reviews before coming here and we're convinced I'd have amazing tacos. They were not bad by any means but they weren't amazing either. The lady there is so nice; the place is nicely set up. The menu has a ton of options but on this day I wanted tacos. My family and I all got taco plates of some sort. I got the asada, pastor and barbacoa. The asada was not good in my opinion just lacking in flavor. The barbacoa was cooked perfectly but the flavor again was a little underwhelming. The pastor that was the winner I wish I would've gotten three of those. The flavor was great. Rice and beans were really nice; I loved the guac and the fact that the chips were house made. The sauce choices were not my favorite.... Their green salsa just wasn't jiving with my taste buds and the red spicy salsa was just ok. All in all I mean I left full and decently happy and the service was great. I just don't think I will drive out of my way to come here again. But again my opinion only. Others apparently love it here and that's great.

Tacos with Pastor meat - marinated pork with pineapple

My new favorite Mexican restaurant! I discovered it this week and have been here twice already! Their Pastor meat is a seasoned pork with pineapples and it is tender and flavorful even without any sort of sauce. I had them in their street tacos with cilantro and onions and they're just amazing. They have two awesome house sauces, a spicier red and a milder green sauce, either go well with the street tacos. Their salsa actually has a kick, unlike the tomato sauces at other restaurants. Normally I like thin chips but their thicker chips are perfectly fried and crunchy without being hard. Seems everything is made fresh when you order it. All our food was hot and fresh. Will be back again!

Absolutely loved this place!!! We walked in and there was already a huge line that moved quickly and food was still brought out in a reasonable time despite the lunch rush! Chips and guac 100% homemade and soo fresh! The tacos were authentic and delicious as well aa the rice! Would absolutely recommend this spot!

Wanted to like em but they just weren't great. Meat was pretty dry and flavorless and something was off with the fish tacos. Can't quite figure out what though.

The best fried fish tacos ever! Their ceviche is also amazing and their sides are great too. This place is such a gem.

The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was wonderful and perfect for a catch up with my friend: warm, inviting, and perfect service! The burrata salad was outstanding, and the pasta was equally impressive. We also shared the bread pudding for dessert, which was incredible and the perfect ending to the evening. The lobster dishes and wine selection were excellent as well. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service: attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. To top it all off, our entire dinner came to under $100, which felt like tremendous value for the quality of the food and experience. I only wish we had a location in Los Angeles. Highly recommended!

This location felt like I was inside a fancy boat To start - the most unique and delicious chips I've ever had. I'm coming back first and foremost for the chips! Haven't seen chips this full of flavor before The prickly pear refresher was amazing - just mint, lemon, soda and prickly pear puree? This is one I'm going to make at home The same chips are used for the tuna dip but I'd like to note their pickled jalapeno - that was fire. So much flavor here Shrimp salad was great too, I enjoyed how balanced the dish was The baked alaska was a mix of chocolate and strawberry on the inside - everything was done from scratch. One recommendation is to add a layer between the ice cream and marshmallow is possible The black wagyu gold something tomahawk was divine - maybe better than any bbq I've been to. Nothing was spared here I also got the key lime pie, it was more grainy than I expected and the key lime was mostly in the reduction (?) to be poured on Overall, tomahawk, crackers, prickly pear drink (forgot to mention crab cake) were my favorites Staff was friendly too!

We started with the bangbang shrimp, which was delicious...a perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and crunchy, served on a bed of slaw. My husband had the burger and loved how prominent the brisket flavor was; the meat was cooked to perfection, and the fries were crispy. I had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes, peppercorn gravy and nicely cooked asparagus. The filet on its own was tender, juicy, and beautifully peppered. For drinks, we had the rosemary old fashioned...smooth and chilled, though nothing stood out about it. The lavender mule was a refreshing mocktail. Service was great-thank you, Eric! The general manager was also very friendly. You can book your reservation via OpenTable.

He offered suggestions and told us if there was anything we did not like to let him know. We had a lot of different things. The Red Devil Beef was super flavorful and like nothing I had before. It was a spicy but doable and full of yum. We also had the beef flat noodle, black bean chicken garlic, rangoons and green beans. When I say everything was cooked perfectly I mean everything. When I started writing the review I had it as 4 stars. I am often hesitant on giving a 5 on my first visit. Due to Ty taking personal accountability and catering to make everything just right I felt the 5 was well deserved. My only feedback is I felt the prices were just a little higher than expected. It was not ridiculous and maybe it is inflation. Regardless their food is good.
