Listen... the food is amazing, the quality and ingredients are on top of the game. I would say it's better than the famous place where they cook in front of you (Benihanas). The garlic and red sauce are the best I've ever had. I personally loved the shrimp chicken and beef with FRIED RICE . The only thing I would change is the type of service, for example the guy who helped us was like in a rush and wasn't very engaged in letting us know what's popular to order and what's really popping on the menu, since it was our fist time visiting this food truck, we wanted some suggestions. That's pretty much all I would change, the customer service indeed. But definitely a great delicious place to eat. Noodles had a great spice, not too spicy but had a nice flavor the steak and vegetables were nice and tender as well and paired great with the garlic butter. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! Don't be fooled the menu prices they have posted on here is 2 days old I get there the prices are a few dollars more per item then when you get there it's a few dollars more then another charge when I used my debit card they charged me over $9 in fees for using my debit, their excuse is the merchant charges 1.50 per charge per ever $35 and claim it shows on the screen the charges are actually more then 1.50 per $35. They claim the menu is old but posted couple days ago, I went the next day. Then the charged more per item for using a debit card? this nonsense bad business practice. Other then the extra charges of $9 for using a debit card their food was a 3 star portion is like a 1 star you get 6 small chopped pieces of filet mignon and like 6 pieces of the lobster kinda small. read more

Just got food from Mr. Teppan and brought it home... This place is freaking amazing! It has renewed my faith on food in the high desert! We need more stuff like this up here. My wife and I ordered NY Steak and Shrimp (pictured), NY Steak, Shrimp & Lobster, and Chicken Fried Rice. Everything was amazing, great flavor, not over or undercooked. The sauces on the side were very good, the one with ginger was probably the best reminds me of my fav when visiting other Teppan restaurants. Veggies included were also great and cooked perfectly. Ordering was very easy, just texted our order in and everything was ready when we arrived. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I've been wanting to try thus place for about a week and finally went for it. Got the chicken and NY strip combo on white rice. I liked the steak it tasted fine and was seasoned ok. Chicken was kinda bland but the teriyaki sauce they give you works so good with the chicken. My problem is not with the food at all but the price. I spend 25 bucks on this combo and got a handful of steak and a like 6 pieces of chicken (I know this sounds exaggerated but it wasn't) so I feel like it's not worth my money. BUT AND SERIOUSLY THIS PART IS IMPORTANT.....The bowl comes with veggies I didn't get so chances are when you add it all together you are getting a hardy bowl that will fill you up. So in conclusion for what I got the price is much too high but with veggies and the sauce over top it might be diffrent. Give this place a try at least. But on a real note, the quality is always great, it is in a black container, but not the regular meal prep size. I was SOOO EXCITED to try this place on 02/07/24 and after pleading with my husband to drive me 20 minutes to his location it was literally FREEZING outside and there were (no other customers but us)...I'm guessing Mr Teppan and his cashier were working on a phone order because they never acknowledged that we were standing there even though they saw us as we made eye contact. After that about 3-4 minutes I began to waive my arms to get his attention and he gave me the finger to wait, so I did and then I waited another few minutes and he gave me another finger to keep waiting, and he could obviously see I was freezing and getting impatient. My husband got upset and went back to the car and let's go. This is ridiculous. They are too rude, but I really wanted to taste his food because we came from so far and the food smelled so good. After a couple more minutes, the cashier finally came to take my order with no apologies, but unfortunately they didn't have any garlic noodles which I really wanted to try so we decided to just leave and go to LA Taco, which was nearby and they gave us excellent service. I was Very disappointed. I really wanted to love their food and customer service and hopefully become a regular customer, and also share this find with my many fb & Instagram followers.... que sera sera, maybe it was just bad day. If I could put zero stars I would. First of all steak was so dry and hard that it broke the plastic fork tip, when we asked for medium rare on the steak it seemed like the cook shined off the cashier when she mentioned it and cooked it how he wanted. Absolutely unsanitary cook as well, after touching the food with greasy gloves he pulls out his phone and is texting, then goes back to touching the food!!! Absolutely disgusting. The veggies were so salty and not cooked properly. Portions are so much smaller than they used to serve. 2 plates for $60 unbelievable, the only good thing this place serves is good sauce can you believe that. This place used to be amazing now it's disgusting, overpriced and horrible cooks! Where are they getting these people from. Never again eating here , this place has gone downhill. Jack in the box would've been a better option for dinner tonight than this. read more

This place is a great little gem on bear Valley Road. Fresh, tasty veggies, and the price is right for the portions and the fact that you're getting teppanyaki. Were usually able to split a single meal into two because the portions are so generous. If you've eaten at a hibachi food truck before then you know that the most difficult part is waiting for your order to be ready. But this truck has a convenient text to order option making pick up a breeze. Sauces are great. Try the lemon ginger for a bright and refreshing kick of flavor. On top of that, there was a stand of black hair in my food in which I had to toss that one completely out (the second time this has happened) Im a social media content creator with over 200,000 followers & I've been hesitant to post this online but think I should due to the fact that I would hate for one of my followers to go through the same bad experience I went through. I placed an order for $260+ and even purchased additional sauces in which the small sauce containers were not even filled which was very inconvenient especially after having to pay additional. Not worth the hype they claim they have, to bland and based on many reviews ppl claim the same. Panda Express is better then this. Beware of their prices ppl. When you get there they charge more for their ugly, tasteless food and up charge you on the food as well. Plus if your using your credit card they up charge your food more on the entree vs a credit card fee, which is against the law to do. I will be reporting them for this. Wasted $90 on nasty food. I waited 35 minutes for food and they wouldn't do anything about it. Well let me tell you my bank will be giving me back my money. I didn't lose anything! Rebuttal to the owners response: ATM fees and their fees. Can't compare. Your charges of up charging your food to get your merchant fee back, of which you just confirmed you do, well let me tell you as a business owner for almost 20 years is, against the law to do. You want to keep your customer that are complaining about it well I suggested you take the loss of a few bucks buddy!
