Pass this truck everyday on my way home from work, finally decided to stop yesterday. So glad I did. Yum yum yum! We got the garlic noodles and the chicken fried rice. Both were so flavorful, plenty of chicken in the rice. I texted my order ahead of time so it was ready when I arrived. Prices were fair, everything everywhere is high right now due to inflation. I easily spend over $20 at any fast food spot now, and this was $26 and made fresh, real food. The young girl who helped me was very sweet with a good attitude, and she was super helpful. My husband and I had been wanting to try this food truck for a while. We are so glad we stopped by for a mini date night. We are avid teppanyaki goers and thoroughly enjoyed this food. We got the filet mignon plate with chicken fried rice. We would usually pay well over $40 per plate at a restaurant, but here we paid $25 each plate. The meat was super tender (as filet should be) and seasoned well, the rice was full of great flavor and the veggies were grilled perfectly. We could not stop talking about how amazing everything was. This review is definitely going to hurt to post, I came with extreme high hopes to try teppanyaki food in the area. The location is easy to find on a busy highway. As I was driving from running errands I decided to stop as I saw the accept mobile orders. I inquired about the plate sizes and what they had available. The prices are very reasonable. I placed my order and never got any confirmation my order was placed or an eta to pick up my order. I assumed it was just too busy and should stop by another day. As I was done shopping I received a text my order was ready. I picked up my order and right away noticed they don't keep your order warm, so be sure to ask for a ETA on your order and be ready to pickup. I however was advised it had only been 5 mins and definitely hot and fresh. You do get what you pay for. Let me start off with the rice. It gets stuck are you take bites. The rice was so hard. The rice they use was easily compare to a instant rice. The taste was completely off. Very bland. The chicken was super super dry. The side sauces were okay but lack something. I decided to call and informed them of my honest concern and they did it appreciate anything whatsoever. They informed they have plenty of customers and 20-30 orders a day and never had a issue, every concern I brought up to the business they reverse and stated it was my fault. Their is no way rice will get hard in 15-20 minutes. I advised them I would like a remake or a refund I would leave it up to them however they declined and stated it was all my fault when it was their instant rice that was the problem, the lack of communication, and lack of proper heating. Please rethink twice before wasting your hard earned money on this establishment. read more

If you are dying to have great hibachi style food, stop at Mr. Teppan. The owner is awesome, he is down to earth, and treats you like family. The food is amazing and it's well worth the wait on busy nights. It's definitely a place to add to the list to visit in the HD. It beats out Tokyo steak by a long shot. read more

ordered from here twice and really delicious food but horrible at responding back and wait times are ridiculous! went at 7 on a Thursday and was told it would be 1hr for 1 order of fried rice!!! come on! I could go to a restaurant and get a full meal and eat it in that time. And only 1 person waiting outside of truck. I work down the street from them and have stopped many times but usually they have a few people waiting and the wait time is long so I go somewhere else. This was our first time trying Mr. Teppan. My husband and I ordered the lobster noodles, and we loved them ! Very good portion for the price and had great flavor! We were even able to try the shrimp as an add on, would definitely go back and order the exact same thing again. We walked up and ordered and took no longer than 15 min and it was all fresh ! I was so excited to try this place since it's always popping up on my social medias. And I was so disappointed. First it was super expensive waisted $60 on 2 chicken plates!! I was a little hesitant to try this out. The price is about the same as going to eat a teppan spot, minus the soup/salad and dinning experience. I'm giving this review in hopes that the next time I try this place it's vastly improved. I hate giving low ratings and will change it if food is better next time. We ordered filet mignon and lobster. Upgrades to fried rice. There was probably three ounces of meat and a small lobster tail. The lobster was fine but the filet mignon was horrible. I asked for medium and it was unseasoned and chewy. Almost like it was boiled. There was way too much fried rice and two bites of veggies. The other plate we got was the New York steak and shrimp. Same issue. For $75.00, I expect the food to be cooked good. I always give places another chance and I will definitely do that. I suggest balancing the rice and veggies.
