I received 2 battery replacements 8.95 and 12.95 (apparently G-shock cases are especially hard to open) and a band resized for 7 dollars. Not the cheapest I have found but they seemed professional. Hard to judge technical skill as I asked for pretty basic services, but I liked the fact that they set the date and time on both watches. I think little touches like that show that someone is taking pride in customer service. At first I was annoyed that although my digital watch showed the correct date (April 30th), my analog watch was incorrectly set to the 31st. Then I realized that if they had set it to 30 the date would be wrong within 10 hrs, but by setting the date ahead I would not have to adjust it for 2 months. Well done Mr Time. read more

This place is perfect for me. It is close to my house and they are very fast at what they do. They have a pretty nice size selection of watches to choose from as well as some clocks. Their prices are better than most big shops and they do not need a couple hours just to replace a battery. I will continue to come here for years to come. read more

I needed to get my old Seiko watch repaired and had a bunch of watches that needed batteries. They did a great job at a very reasonable rate. They have a battery special...have 3 done and get the 4th one free. I had all four watches' batteries replaced for less than $23! Pretty good deal!! read more

Mr. Time is my go to place to get battery replacement for my watches and my husband's watches. It's been 3 years, and I have not been disappointed with their. The staff is really nice and the price is right, but even better when it is discounted when you check-in to yelp. read more

I arrived an hour before closing on a Friday, & the staff was attentive & friendly. I brought in a watch that I received as a gift for re-sizing. They were happy to do it, did so in under 15min, and gave me a good price. I also told them I saw their shop thru Yelp, & they thanked me for telling them. I would not even give this place a star but it's the only way to place a review. I took two watches for new batteries. They replace one right away then said they would need more time to fix my older watch (Skagen). I left the watch. I received a call a wk later stating they could not fix my watch and that I should come by and pick it up. When I went to pick it up the lady stated I gave them a broken watch and it was not fixable so far fine as they were not going to charge me. I then noticed that they did not return all the parts to me. I asked for the missing parts and they became defensive stating that they return my watch and it is broken. I acknowledged that the watch was not working and just wanted all its parts so that I could take to another more experience watch repair. The lady became hostile saying nothing she could do and that I should leave. I then asked for my claims receipt back and she would not give it to me. This place is unprofessional, unethical and poor Customer service. I highly discourage anyone to shop or take your belongings to this place. Beware! read more

Small Mom and Pop (and daughter) shop. Nice Casios and Seikos (which I'm into) and they also repaired a vintage WWII watch I had and did a great job! Customer service skills could use a little work when it comes to greeting customers, but hey, it's a good place to go nonetheless. read more

Mr. Time was once a wonderful business but is now a dishonest business with no integrity or customer service and is refusing to honor the "Watch Repair One Year Warranty" that is stamped on my receipt. I have been a loyal customer for several years and the owner Sam has always given me excellent customer service as well as the young lady that I believe is his daughter. In the past I have noticed that when Sam wasn't in the shop, that his wife would ignore myself and other waiting customers and let us wait for an excessive amount of time before helping anyone. At the end of last December I took my watch in for repair and Sam stated that he needed to send it to Sieko to have the entire internal watch mechanism replaced. My receipt is stamped "Watch repair one year guarantee from date XXXX". At the end of August my watch stopped running. I took it back in under the 1 year guarantee and was told by Sam's wife that he was on "Vacation". She then proceeded to blast me with what a poor quality watch I had and told me that I had gotten my money's worth out of the watch and that I should purchase a new watch. She was very condescending and belittled me for expecting her to attempt to try to fix such a piece of junk. She begrudgingly accepted it for repair. I did not receive a phone call that the watch was ready and finally called in to find out that it had been ready for a while. Since picking it up in early September it has lost about 6 minutes per week so I took it back to have Sam just adjust it to run faster. After the usual wait and be ignored routine, the girl that I believe is the daughter came up to help me but then called Sam's wife. Sam's wife utterly refused to adjust the watch and honor the 1 year guarantee. She told me "We've already worked on the watch twice and that she would not honor the guarantee because it would cause her to lose money." I politely replied that her not honoring the written guarantee was dishonest and that as a business owner she showed no integrity. She obviously doesn't know a thing about how good customer service helps a business to grow and builds a good reputation for a business. When I asked for Sam she stated that Sam was no longer there and that there had been a management change. The girl that I believe is the daughter seemed totally embarrassed by her mother's behavior. My guess is that Sam has had enough and that his wife is getting the Mr. Time business in the divorce. My only recourse is small claims court. I still had 4 months warranty left when it stopped running and Mrs. Time refuses to honor their warranty. Even if the shop is under new management, when a business is sold, the new owner buys both the assets and liabilities. It's really a shame as this was such a great watch shop when Sam was running it. read more

I agree with Masaharu below. I took my Casio watch here, because it was a cheap watch and I didn't really care about it so much. I figured it's a tough watch and there's no way they could ruin it. Boy, was I wrong--the lady there (Masaharu called her the wife), took my watch and attempted to replace the battery. She got the back off successfully but she didn't have the battery in stock. When I got the watch back I noticed considerable scuffing on the back plate of the watch. Good thing I didn't bring my expensive watch here for battery replacement. I'm pretty sure I won't be coming here any more. After this incident I headed to Sears in the Del Amo mall to see if they had the battery. The guy there was cool, but he didn't have the battery, and referred me instead to Del Time, which is located right out side Sears between Sears and JC Penney. The employee there was pretty busy, but she quickly replaced the battery on my watch and I also had her replace the watch band on the watch at the same time. They had the original Casio rubber band in stock and they sold it to me for a pretty cheap price. Band and battery within 10 minutes even while the girl there was busy. I will be taking my Casios back to Del Time and be avoiding the Mr Time store in the future. Also the Del Time store had a greater selection of watches than the Mr Time store and had deep discounts on many of their brands. Something to look into next time you're in the mall. read more
