I bought a tire here. It was defective, loses air, have to fill it up every day or 2. While this isn't their specialty my battery also died the day I got my tire, they noted it but never told me. So I have been back 3 times to try to get this corrected. Wasted over 16 hours. Last straw was today, told to come in when they open and would take me right away. An hour and a half later, no one saw it yet, no cars were in the garage when I got there. They just gave me the runaround. Not just unprofessional, but very dishonest. Seems to be a scam. read more

I used the one in Severna Park Maryland. They charged me for services they didn't complete. I called them out on it and the manager (Farrell) told me they'd issue a refund to get me out the store. They never did give the refund and he was very rude. They'd rather rip you off once that have you as a repeat customer. read more

I highly do NOT recommend this place. The guy at the front desk was one of the worst human beings I've met in severna park, extremely rude and disrespectful. He even mumbled something under his breath to me and when I asked what he said, he denied saying anything. On top of that, they decided to work on my car before calling me and asking what services I wanted done (complete scam). Then on the receipt there were some miscellaneous charges for things I didn't ask for, but ofcourse he made me sign for everything before showing me an itemized receipt (again complete scam). Probably one of the worst car shops I've went to, I do not recommend unless you want to be treated like a half brained human and get scammed. I went there last night to have my tire patched. I went there after work, which was around 5:15 pm or so. Because I have a speech impairment, I typed out my problem on my fairly large phone screen, The man behind the counter looked at my phone screen for all of 5 seconds, scoffed at me, and said, "No, I can't help you". I then asked him if he knew where I could go next (out loud), and he gave me the most condescending look, and said, "nope, sorry, I- I can't". Like a disabled woman asking him to read for 30 seconds is too much to ask. I was fully prepared to pay for the service, but I guess he "knew better" than me. read more

But, they definitely deserve more stars and I am so glad I came here. Jeff was wonderful and helpful! I scheduled my appointment with him on the phone with ease. I took my car in because my tire was rapidly losing air. Jeff was my service provider and was incredibly helpful and pleasant. He was able to patch the tire without issue and I was in and out in an hour. I don't have much to say about the other gentleman at the counter, who was less than personable... My vehicle had low air with one of the back tires due to a nails in the tire. Spoke with Jorge from Mr. Tire in Severna park MD. Luckily they were opened and taking walk ins. They charge $55 to patch the tire within 40 minutes. The facility was clean and Jorge was able to answer all questions. For the price I would hope they could fill the tire to the necessary air pressure. I had to do it myself at the gas station. It would be nice to have this included within the price. read more

I brought my car here after blowing out a tire on 695. Nail in the middle of the tread, completely repairable. We paid SEVENTY dollars to have it patched - asinine, anyway. However, left the shop with 4 fully inflated tires. Next day the light is back on. I put air in the same tire they repaired and carried on. Every 2 days it needed to be reinflated so I brought it back. Mr. Tire told me there was another puncture in the exact same place that could not be repaired. Take the car to my trusted mechanic and they show me that Mr. Tire messed up the patch in the first place and wouldn't take responsibility for their own mistake. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go here. Do not bring your car here if you want roadworthy tires!!! read more

I called first thing when they opened on Sunday. I found a screw in my tire Saturday evening. Before I called I understood they would likely be fully booked but called anyways to see if they could help me. I called at 9am when they opened and the person who answered was extremely rude and condescending. He very rudely told me they were fully booked, can't help me, why did I expect to get in last minute. Obviously I didn't plan on getting a screw in my tire Saturday evening. Based on how rude he was I think they are only fully booked on Sunday because other shops near by are closed on Sunday. Called a few places a little further away in Annapolis. Others were also fully booked but were polite and some recommended other places that were open. I ended up at NTB on Defense Hwy in Annapolis. They told me to come in and they would get me in. Got there at 10:45 and they took my car back by 11 and completed by 11:45. So if you have an unexpected screw in your tire don't bother calling Mr. Tire. There are better places to get your tire fixed. read more

Left my car here at 2:30 for 2 new tires and alignment. I was told I would get a call when it was finished. I tried to call them but no answer, so at 5:15 I decided to go see what was going on since they never called. My car was sitting out front by the busy highway. Sign said Closed but door was open so I went in to ask the woman at the desk about my car. She said it wasn't finished until 5:05 so therefore I wasn't called because they close at 5:00! She was pissed and she was very rude! She is not an asset to your business, Mr Tire! I wanted my car and I did not want it left out in the open next to Ritchie Highway! And that is why I went there to retrieve it before it was stolen. This is certainly a glitch you have between your service personnel and your staff that refuses to do ANYTHING past 5:00!!!! read more

Bottom Line: A good pick for tire repair. I had a slow leak in my tire so I took my car to Mr. Tire for repair. Initially I went on a Sunday morning at 9am, when they opened, to get it knocked out. They informed me they were triple booked for Sunday but they could get me in on Monday for a 6pm appointment time. Given how behind they were from the weekend, I was skeptical that they could take me at 6pm on Monday but they did, and I was out of there by 7:30pm, as advertised. The late evening hours that Mr. Tire has are very helpful. Speaking of helpful, Sean or maybe its Shawn or Shaun, was very friendly and super helpful. Five stars for him! My tire had a nail in the tread and it was fixed for a reasonable price. My only real complaint is that they over inflated my tire by 3psi so I had to come home and let air out. read more

Very frustrating and unsatisfactory experience (Mr. Tire, Severna Park, MD). On 6/3/2021, we took our car in with a slow leak in one tire and it was determined that a new one was needed (proper call in my judgment). The desired replacement was not in stock so was ordered and an appointment made for 7:30 this morning (6/5) for installation. At that time, only one of the tire mechanics (VERY nice, professional, understanding guy) was there and we could not get in because only managers have the keys. After some wait for a no-show manager, we left the key with the mechanic. When we returned about an hour later, we were surprised to see the car had not been touched and the manager indicated the tire would be immediately installed. I left my wife to wait. After other later arriving customers had been served she inquired again. The manager said the tire could not be found and was likely sold by another salesman. She ordered another picked up, I returned to pick up my wife, and retuned home. Hours later we were informed that the car was ready. We returned and pickled up the car. After returning home and comparing the original order and the tire installed, we realized it was not the same tire we had chosen. Since it appears roughly comparable, and we are fed up, we will not take it back. Four trips to replace one tire is enough. Lesson learned. Through the experience, the desk staff seemed disgruntled, tired, sarcastic to one another, and made negative comments among themselves about coworkers and management (easily overheard by customers including me)...a sure sign of an organization with serious management/leadership problems. On the positive side, they complied when I asked for a 10% discount as compensation for the frustration and inconvenience. Also, throughout this entire ordeal, the tire mechanic was the most professional, caring, and informative person encountered. Also, apparently the only one who showed up for work on time today! He was also the only person we encountered who apologized for the multiple problems. I would definitely not recommend this business to others and will not return. read more

Do not go here! I brought my car for an alignment and an oil change. After driving away for a few miles, my check engine light came on. I took it to AutoZone to get the engine light diagnosed, it said check the oil cap or dipstick. I figured it might be loose; no, the oil cap was missing and my engine was covered in oil. I went back to Mr. Tire and had to sit there and wait while they found my oil cap at the bottom of my engine compartment. All they did was wipe off the oil (not a proper clean job) and said maybe I'd receive a free oil change on the next visit. I spent $200 and they endangered my car and did nothing to make it right. Oh, I couldn't drive the car the next day to our family vacation, so I had to borrow one. I used to frequent this place with my cars and my kids' cars, but we are never going back. read more

Appointment process is a joke ...website is a joke, 3 hours to change tires, alignment... got here at 8:00 am and took 45 minutes before my car was taken to garage, estimate they gave me was 300$ more than website. Horrible customer service, No communication. Called me once after my truck had been there for 3hrs. To up sell me on services outside of what I requested. Told me the vehicle was on the lift and shouldn't be to much longer. Never received any follow up calls, I stopped by before closing to check in and the vehicle was moved but no work was done. I went inside and they said they couldn't install the tires as they didn't have the correct equipment. Not once was this communicated. An entire day was wasted without my vehicle. Went there today because my indicator light for low tire pressure came on. Had a nail it it which they removed and patched. Service was quick,which got me back on the road. One of my tires had a slow leak. Because it makes contact with the road (someday we won't need tires), I needed to get it repaired. Now, I had some trepidation as I pulled in - see, two years ago, I'd had my oil changed here and they didn't tighten the cap which could've been a real problem. But I needed my tire repaired. Now I expected a repair to cost somewhere in the range of $10-30. I knew it wouldn't cost $5.55 but I didn't expect a bill nearly 10 times that amount. That's right - almost $55 for a patch job!! Mind you, we were there all of 25 minutes. Invoice includes $20 worth of indecipherable items. At least they did the job quick but when I saw that invoice, I just wanted to get out of there - back to my abode. read more

It has a convenient location since it is next to Starbucks where people can wait but I am going to have to find somewhere else. i usually love coming here and have never had any issues however this time i had a bad experience. All of the mechanics were super nice and helpful however the older man and woman working the front desk were not. He was very condescending towards me. Rushed me out and didn't even collect my keys so that they could work on my car the next day and had shoo'ed me out of the store because they had 30 min till close. Also he was on a personal phone call when i got there and it took him awhile to even talk to me. The next morning i come in to bring my keys and the woman working the front didn't say anything or even look at me so i was standing there for 10 minutes just waiting for her to say something. I'm giving 3 stars since other staff were super nice and helpful to me and i don't want to fully fault them for the actions of their co-workers. read more

I had a flat tire and I really did not know what to do. Everyone told me plan to not get it fix this week at any tire center. I went to Mr. Tire because it was the first one I spoted. Customer service came right out and looked at my tire he said I would need a new tire because it was beyound repair. I was the only one in the facility, he said he had to get a new tire and leave my old one and they would put a new rim on it. He was extremely nice gave me attention to customer needs. Mr. Rubright called me in 2 hours and said it was fixed he met my needs in getting the tire replaced quickly and get me back on the road. Longtime customer of this location. I first want to start off on a positive note. Mr. Tire was able to patch my tire. That was a good thing. Now for the kicker... I was charged $55! How the hell and why does a patch cost this much? I paid $25 @ Good year and the only reason I didnt do there because they couldnt fit me in. I wanted to give Mr tire a chance. It was partly my fault for not asking the price. I never would have thought it be over $55. I mean for that I could have bought a new tire. When complaining to the employer, he explained why it was so pricey. It had to due with the cars rest through a computer which was $15! How silly is that? I am really upset about this. I feel so taken advantage of especially over the holiday season. What are appointments good for if no work gets done for hours? I made an appointment to drop off my car early on a weekend to get the brakes worked on and to have the oil changed without having to wait behind a ton of other customers. I was told that it would be about two hours, so I had my wife pick me up for breakfast with my family. After almost three hours, I came back to see my car still in the same spot. I thought, they surely completed the work and just parked it back. But NO. It had not been touched. This is the second time they had scheduled appointments with me and didn't get the job even started after hours of waiting. First time I chalked it up to it being later time or the day. I've been to this location man many times. New brakes, new tires, tune ups, oil change, wheel balance on routine. I am surprised by the reviews because I have never had a problem with them. I'm not a mechanic by any means but they never talk me into any items or try. They are personable and work hard. Their is a huge Starbucks to wait for the car right next door ! Only problem I had was questionable tires I got that was Yoko and I wonder if it was a bad batch. They wore down quickly , although it may have been alignment on my part. Even though the reviews are old, nothing has changed. We needed one tire to be replaced because shortly after putting brand new tires on our car, the passenger side tire had a bubble. We made an appointment and provided the tire. We were told it should take an hour to change. We dropped it off and an hour and ten minutes later they called to tell us that another tire needed to be changed. The tires are practically brand new. The only reason we got the bubble on the tire is because of the bad storm that created numerous pot holes. Avoid going here unless you want to hear about unnecessary work that your car needs. read more
