I worked here as one of the world's worst waitresses the summer before college. One of the bartenders would feed me loganberry vodkas to keep my spirits up. Now I'll stop in for a slice of the best sloppiest pizza in Williamsville (and a crummy glass of red wine - no more boozy loganberry cocktails.) People must love Sorrentino's for different reasons. This place has been in Williamsville forever. Located in the middle of the village it seems to be always busy. It's definitely 'grandma's favorite' restaurant. Their menu is full of basic comfort food. Some people still enjoy a huge portion of pasta with a too sweet tomato sauce. Imagine that, Sorentino's even offers a wild 'all you can eat pasta' option every Sunday. I remember dining in once or twice, but never tried any of the noodle dishes. That was over two decades ago. From then on, we would drop by the bar sometimes for a beer and wings, or a slice, but not anymore. We do takeout from time to time, especially when hosting out-of-town guests. The wings have gotten better, but honestly, I would always come back to Sorrentino's for their pizza. Buffalo style pie isn't my favorite, but still, how can you not love it?! The dough is thick, spongy, topped with red sauce and lots of mozzarella cheese. The Cheese and 'cup-and-char' Pepperoni is a classic option. 'Music on Main' takes place every Thursday in Williamsville during the summer. This event has become more and more popular and attracts an increasing number of people. The patio at Sorrentino's is always packed that evening. Moreover, it's the only place in the area to buy a slice of pizza. The slices are unfortunately small, but I can't complain if there is no other option. It's fun to grab and go munchies on a late evening. read more

Really pains me to have to rate this place so low but I was truly disappointed today. I've eaten here a few times before and have always been impressed with the pizza but today's sheet pizza was pure trash. Pizza was way undercooked and it seemed like they maybe forgot the pepperoni because what was served on my pizza seemed like they were heated up and tossed on the cooked pizza at the end. The pepperoni was not melted in the cheese like you would expect. As soon as you picked up a slice the pepperoni all fell off. Some pieces hardly had cheese on it! We came here on a beautiful summer evening to hear live music and grab a meal and a beer. We were pleased that they had Peroni and Four Mile IPA on tap. Both were very good. The outdoor patio is such a perfect setting for live music while enjoying a meal. The House Rockers were playing this night in September, and they were so talented, and played a fabulous selection of tunes. You can't go wrong with the antipasto here. It is huge, very fresh, and wonderful. We also split a medium pizza which we enjoyed. Our server was terrific and checked on us often. I ordered a white mini pizza and some BBQ wings and they were delicious! The pizza crust was chewy yet crisp and the toppings were very flavorful while the wings were juicy, plump and well cooked with a wonderful sauce. The servings were abundant so I brought home half of my order for lunch today. I tried the vegetable pizza which was good. There was a generous amount of vegetables but it seemed like a bunch of steamed vegetables were dumped on a cheese pizza as they weren't cooked into it. The size was nice so it lasted a couple meals. read more

I didn't realize that I've never reviewed this restaurant/bar before. I've been here many times during "Music on Main" and when I'm visiting with friends and family in the Williamsville area. Sorrentinos is a great place for food and drinks. The inside is a bit on the small side, but they can accommodate people on the outside patio as well. They often have live bands on the patio in the summer months, both during Music on Main and on the weekends. I have to admit that I rarely get anything else but pizza here, but I love their white pizza, so that's all I usually order. Their regular cheese and pepperoni pizza and apps are also great. This is a nice stop in Williamsville and the prices are a bit lower than some of the other establishments on Man St. read more

My wife and just had dinner here tonight. We have eaten many times before. The must have change their cook. The salad looks like they made it yesterday. I had veal parm. The only thing I could compare it to was diner food in some small town. Awful. My wife had a shaved steak sub which she wouldn't eat. We took it home to our son and he wouldn't eat it either. There was trash flying all around the patio and tons of bees. The food was pretty subpar and when we got our onion rings they came with no dips and small portion for $8. Just wasn't a place I would return to for food I could get in other restaurants in a better environment and higher quality food and a cheaper/same price on the same street. This was my first time here. The portions are huge! The sauce is really tasty and the gluten free pizza crust is really good - good texture and it holds up well. I also tried their Bbq wings and spaghetti and meatballs - all really tasty and lots of leftovers to bring home. We will be back for sure. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. After trying to stop at the new brewery across the street we ended up here for dinner. Outside seating has many tables with umbrellas. I think the front "patio" is a converted from their parking lot. Server and hostess were prompt and pleasant. Beer options on tap were fairly limited but it came out cold. White pizza was great. Nice flavorful toppings. The dough and crust were made perfectly. Nice and thick. Had a good crunch to it. Wings were not saucy (which I personally enjoy). Medium had a nice kick to it. I've been to Sorrentino's a couple times now. It was the lure of the patio that brought me here when the weather was nicer. They seasonally turn their front parking lot into a good-sized patio with decent shade options. Their patio seating is okay, but be aware it is right on the street at a stop light. Generally the traffic didn't bother me, but the big stinky garbage truck that stopped at the light wasn't exactly pleasant when eating lunch. Not anything the restaurant can control of course, just an FYI. Both times I tried a pasta dish, one time baked ziti, and one time the AYCE spaghetti night. Prices were typical, about $10 - $15 for most Italian dishes, meatier ones being more expensive. My baked ziti portion was fairly generous, and AYCE is by default generous. For being touted as a "Spaghetti House", I was underwhelmed by the pasta dishes. They weren't bad, but tasted exactly the same as if I boiled a dollar box of pasta and opened up a jar of Ragu at home. When you're paying restaurant prices, and the restaurant specializes in the style of cuisine you order, I was hoping for something better. So my review is somewhere between a 2-star and 3-star rating, really. The patio is enjoyable, for the most part. The servers are attentive and friendly enough. The food is not priced too high, but nothing I have tried has been at all noteworthy. Chances are I will end up here again at some point to enjoy the patio, but I need to try other areas of the menu, since the "Spaghetti House's" namesake is not stellar. read more

My first time here, I asked what they were famous for. Our server said they were best known for spaghetti so I ordered a lunch portion. The lunch portion had one meatball, what the server called a sweet spaghetti sauce, and spaghetti el dente. Unfortunately to my taste buds the spaghetti sauce was very salty. I could not finish my food. In fact the server came by and asked me whether I wanted it to go but there was no way I could eat some thing that's salty. On the plus side the patio is very pleasant. It's on a busy intersection in downtown Williamsville but it's great for people watching. Service was attentive. The only oddity was that there was some flooding issue so another server spent a big chunk of our lunch hour pushing and sloshing water around the patio. Whenever I drive by, this place is packed. Especially on weekends for dinner. Maybe the food is better on the weekends but I don't think I would come back for the spaghetti. Maybe another dish. read more

So tonight the WNY area has a driving ban and is expecting 2-3 feet of snow. We were down south of Buffalo driving 75 miles through horrible conditions and finally made it back around 7:10pm. We were very hungry but not much was open and I was concerned I may not eat for a day or more (I'm visiting from out of town and have very little with me). The first place we saw on Main Street was the Creekview and they were open!. We know the menu by heart but they refused to seat us because they said we were ten minutes too late. We told them we could order immediately but they said no. I understand and was fine but they said we could drink at the bar if we liked, but no food. So my understanding went out the window as serving us alcohol' wasn't what we needed and then sending us out to drive in the snow was irresponsible. But we saw that Sorrentino's was open and we went across the street hoping we might be able to get a few slices to go. Well they said if we could eat in 45 minutes we could sit down, which was awesome. We took a very quick look at the menu and ordered slices, a basket of fries, a salad and a steak sub. I was overjoyed after that treacherous drive to finally eat something. The salad came quickly followed by the fries and then our main courses. The food was hot and delicious. I loved the char cup pepperoni on the slices and the krinkle cut fries were delicious Our server Grace could not have been nicer or more patient even though we knew she and the other workers wanted to get home before the travel ban started. In all the years I've visited the area I've never been to Sorrentino's to eat even though we've had drinks and watched bands play in the summer outside. Sorrentino's is the very essence of a local spaghetti house. When you walk in you almost feel like you're in someone home. Since moving here 11 years ago my husband and I have been coming to Sorrentino's, or Tino's as the locals call it. Simple, local decor in the dining room and a very sporty feel in the bar area. The placemats feature loca advertising which gives you something to look at while waiting for your food. They don't do signature cocktails, but they do serve mixed drinks and a variety of beer. We particularly like to ride the motorcycles here in the summer for the Music on Main series. There's a parking lot in the back off Mill St. and a small one in the front with entrances on both Main St. (Rt. 5) and Mill St. but in the summer they enclose the front parking lot with a little wrought iron fence and turn it into an outdoor patio with tables and table service. We like to order chicken fingers or wings or occasionally spaghetti and listen to live music several times a month in the summer. The food itself is always good. Hot and cold subs, pizza, wings, pasta... it's got something for everyone. And the prices are very reasonable. Sometimes we even pick up spaghetti dinners to-go for an easy dinner when we have house guests. Our guests are always happy with it. The only negative thing I can say is that there's one server who must be related to the owners or something because she's incredibly rude and it's blatant. The first time I encountered her I was so put off I didn't come back for quite a while. We came in when it was almost empty and she sighed heavily and loudly when she saw us walk in. Then she actually rolled her eyes at one of my questions about the menu. She treated us like we were bothering her by even being there. It's like was her super power or something, to make you feel unwelcome. Over time I learned from the locals that she's like that with everyone so I eventually went back. Like I said I can only assume she's family of the owners or management or something because she's been there for as long as I've lived here and she seems to be the only one who gets away with treating customers like that since no one else who works there behaves that way. If it was just bad management then other employees would be doing it and getting away with it too but that's not the case, hence my assumption. So now we just know not to sit in her section. If she's the only one working we either sit in the bar and get waited on by the bartender or we go somewhere else. I'm still gonna give this place 5 stars because every time I come here I have a good time and I leave full and happy, as long as I avoid the waitress with the spiky hair. read more

This hurts me to do this but we just had the worst dinner ever tonight. We ordered three simple subs and eggplant parm and all of the meals were terrible. Two out of 4 of us took tums afterwards. The sauce was watery and tasteless and eggplant thick and not fully cooked , subs were dry and lacking flavor and one of the subs was made completely wrong. The food is always good. We have been going for years and years. But this time it wasn't the food that was an issue. It was the guy behind the bar. And the guy answering the phone. It may have been same person but u are in Buffalo and Monday night football and going to be busy. We called for wings and pizza and the guy who answered phone was rude and then when I picked up the guy behind bar looked at me a few min before asking what I was there for? Then he was just rude. I like the location of this place. Such a nice little restaurant that's a pleasant walk away from Glen Park. Their claim to fame is their pizza, but I have yet to try it! My family and I have had dinner here a couple of times, however, and every experience has been nothing but enjoyable. Our waitresses are always very nice, the wait for food is hardly ever that long, and what food I've had here has never been bad. Their chicken sandwiches are delicious, and I love the onion rings! This place gets pretty busy on Thursdays during the summer, when they've got Music on Main going on. Other than that, I can't say I see this place incredibly packed. During the winter, they take away the patio fencing and allow for extra parking, in addition to the lot directly behind the building. Somewhat disappointing for several reasons.. We were outside, but when I walked inside to use the restroom it smelled of damp rugs. The serving staff was very new, unfamiliar with the menu and not very attentive but that's okay I can forgive that; everyone has to learn at some point. The food was decent BUT came out of the kitchen in a strange order. We ordered two appetizers and two sandwiches. Appetizer one was delivered, followed by one sandwich, followed by another sandwich 8 mins later and by this point we assumed they had forgotten about our second appetizer but it arrived after we had finished eating. Received a seemingly malicious present in my soup. I have never had a good experience at this place. However, when I recently dined at Sorentino's, I had the worst experience. They served me their house soup with a plastic spoon already in the soup. Which struck me as odd because it defeats the purpose of decreasing the spread of germs. On this spoon was two distinct hairs, curly hairs. (See picture). This display looked like someone pulled a couple pubes/beard hairs and put it on the spoon as some kind of sick prank.
