My husband and I love this place so much, we visit once a week! The owners are warm and friendly. I usually order the pearl milk tea and my husband always goes for one of the tea with fiber jelly. The coconut milk tasted a bit sour with the tapioca and the red bean; it was thoroughly sweet, but also tasted sour, so I am a bit concerned about the freshness. As of this post, they open the store recently and you can find multiple locations throughout NoVA. The quality seems to be the same as any other Mr. Wish location, and it's not amazing. She asked if we had been to Mr Wish before and that's when we told her about our horrific experience with the other Herndon location. She made our drinks perfect and it was a completely different experience from what we first had. I got strawberry green tea with boba and my girlfriend got the black tiger tea with boba. The lady there also made us a couple of waffles on the house since we had a bad experience with the first ones we ordered a while back. The boba is consistently on par. No matter the situation: one staff member working, boba still cooking, busy door dash, etc. Service is great too. We've had different people each time and they're not over the top but still polite, patient, and quick. They're also transparent while still doing their job. "Sorry, it's a lot of door dash orders" or "the boba is finishing up" The place itself isn't fancy or overly loud. It has a clean appearance. The menu is fairly much the same as other chains, and I really like that they also have these cute little waffles in the shape of paws. I got the passionfruit green tea with aloe jelly as well as an order of the custard waffles. The tea itself was super refreshing, and the manager/ owner recommended me to get the aloe jelly (I almost picked aiyu). We loved all of our drinks. They weren't super sweet and artificial tasting. The taro milk tea is not your typical powdered purple taro drink. It had actual taro chunks. My 8 year old loved it so much and said that's what taro milk tea is supposed to taste like. The milk tea drinks are so fresh and the milk they use taste better than a lot of the other boba shops. The boba itself is also very tasty, chewy and perfect amount of sweetness (not too sweet!). We ordered a custard waffle and it look a little bit of time but it came out delicious. The atmosphere inside is comfortable and bright. This must be a newly opened location given how clean and modern it looked. As for the service, the baristas were kind enough to make a a new drink because I ordered the wrong one mistakenly. The milk tea is ok. Their menu is a bit deceiving. Drinks marked with dairy-free is made with Lactaid Milk, which is good for people with lactose intolerance. But can't be processed by people with actual allergies to dairy because it's still made from real dairy, just without lactose. This place is also pretty new, so the staff may not be very knowledgeable about the products completely. I asked if they had Crystal Bobas and was told that the pearl milk tea will come with it. It's the brown Sugar Honey bobas that it came with. Not a big deal, but I probably won't be making this my usual boba spot. read more

Eh, disappointing. First off, service was REALLY slow and the two ladies behind the counter didn't seem the most efficient. And then the drinks we ordered, just weren't that great, so the wait just felt like all for nothing. We ordered a Kumquat green tea and a red bean coconut milk sago and the waffles with custard filling. The custard filling was weird, it just seemed like raw dough. The waffle was ok, not what I was expecting. If I were in the mood, I may order them again. But I doubt I will be returning because nothing was that great to begin with. read more
