The variety of food choices she supplied us to pick from weekly as well as making many dishes we asked for was wonderful, there was nothing she was not able to make for us. The food was delivered to our home in individual containers for all the different food selections which we would then warm up in the mirco-wave accordingly. The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. She provided the receipts for all the purchases each week and the pricing for her services were more than fair. Both times the food arrived EXACTLY at 4pm and was top quality with good portions for most. My dad recently needs to be on a lower sodium diet so it's nice to provide 1-2 meals per week for him with no commitment- he usually eats only half of the portion per meal and can easily know the sodium content. My wife and I have tried a few of the meals and been happy with everything - sometimes calories and fat/sodium can be a bit higher than my wife prefers for a single meal but you have all the info before ordering. There's always a salmon option, and a recent "Retro Fried Chicken Bowl" was great if slightly unhealthier than ideal but had a nice portion of well cooked chicken and included a fantastic smothered sauce plus the side of applesauce was chunky, flavorful, and just as good as we would make at home. If you don't make your own applesauce this will show you why you should do it. Nothing but positive so far, and prices generally seem consistent with the "ready to cook" options in the market but you have much less packaging waste and don't need to spend a bunch of time cooking and cleaning up which can be nice during the week. Most dishes are 2-3 minutes heating up in the microwave and end up great. Don't get me wrong, we love to cook but I prefer to use my own recipes and for my dad with limited mobility a quick, healthier microwave meal or a "soft food" option is important. And for my wife and me, this is a nice supplement to our weeknight meals. Bravo to a great local business worth supporting!

Found side dishes like veggies, rice, etc., (the non meat side items) mushy and flavorless. Ended up tossing the sides most of the time. Different menues seemed like a slight variation to other menues, by changing a sauce or a vegi, fair, but to us too similar, especially if it was not well liked menu in the first place. We tried it and decided it was not for us. If that was it i would NOT have left a review, jsut let it go. What has been irritating is supposedly FACTOR is easy to 'cancel at any time'... wrong! First i skipped a few weeks, then i just decided wasnt worth it and canceled. Canceled online, filled out a survey listing why we wanted to quit etc. Weeks later I learn i am being CHARGED again, AND FACTOR has SHIPPED another box of unwanted orders! 4-5 weeks after canceling the service! Stuff happens but after waiting on hold for an hour (the recording said estimated 25 minutes, said 25 minutes for over 25 minutes. Now i'm super unhappy. After an hour on hold waiting to speak to customer service, who did after some discussion and escallation, cooperated (hopefully) to resolve my situation and canceled my subscription (for a second time). But having to wait for an hour and having my initial online request to cancel be ignored i am left frustrated with FACTOR. They lost my trust as a service. Canceling is not quick (an hour on hold) and definatley not easy, obviously online attempts to cancel are unreliable, waiting an hour for assistance to talk to a human is frustrating. I wish FACTOR luck, it just will not be with me as a customer.

I had some questions getting started and the owner Juan was very accommodating. But the real kicker was when my husband and I ate our first meals. The Mongolian beef and spaghetti with meatballs. They were.... absolutely delicious. My husband was so impressed and ate every single bite. He brought the steak to lunch the next day - delicious. For dinner we ate the steak tacos - again absolutely delicious. I have had so many meal delivery services in Chicago and this was absolutely the best we have had. It is so well seasoned and so fresh even after being cooked in the microwave. I also really love how much the owner clearly cares about his business. Always a good sign to me. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a convenient, but healthy way to have some delicious options. I will be a customer for a very long time.

It came with a lot of toppings including mustard, ketchup, and slice of cheese I've never seen that on fries before. Good job, keep up the good work!!!
