This location did not disappoint. Consistent in the quality and service. Beer was cold and we got cold glasses. Pizzas came out hot and they all come with plenty of toppings. Clean and the A/C works. Ever eaten and had Covid? That is what this reminded me of. I went in for the lunch "buffet", my one shot at lunch out for January. $14 with a drink, a couple of dollars more than Cici's Pizza Buffet. The difference is that Cici's has 8-12 pizzas, cheese bread, dessert pizza, cinnamon rolls plus pasta and a salad bar. Mike's? 3 pizzas, cheese bread and a cinnamon dessert pizza. I included a picture of the two remaining pizzas because I took the last slice of the third one. In addition the ONLY diet soda available was not working. How can you have ONE diet soda? The thing Cici's has going for it besides variety and cost is flavor. Mike's salad bar was okay, spring mix was fresh, but the green olives were completely flavorless as if they had been washed. The ranch was mildly flavorful. The pizza? It was... mysterious. The slices are about 1-1 1/2 inches wide (picture included with fork for reference), which I guess is good if you want to try and see if you like it without waste, so not an issue. The flavor, or lack of it, was the issue. Almost everything was like a mouthful of soft warm. Little to no flavor. Even slices of pepperoni I pulled from the pizza seemed to be only the slightest bit flavored, hence the Covid reference at the beginning. In my pic there is a pizza with salami. Meh. The slice on my plate with (2) jalapenos? Meh. Again, even with the jalapenos, little to no flavor. I tried the next pizza out which had scallions and bacon... same thing. Crust WAS nice and hot though! Overall not the lunch experience I was looking for for my 1 trip out for the month from work. Pretty disappointed. Especially when the cost is almost the same as a medium pizza. Restaurant was clean and the people working there were nice. Won't need to go back and would certainly would not get a whole pie here when Serious Pizza is across 161. Flavor wise I would stick to Little Caesars, I like their sauce and their pepperoni is better and you can get their deep dish lunch special for like $5. read more

Ordered two pizzas to go from the Grand Prairie Mountain Mike's Pizza. I asked for one of the pizzas to have the green onions on the side when I arrived to pick up my pizzas I noticed there was a man (who turned out to be the manager) scratching his neck and picking the green onions off of the pizza with no gloves. I asked the lady at the counter if that was my pizza and if that was normal procedure. She said it was my pizza and no that that was not normal procedure. he proceeded to bring me said pizza.
