The only downfall was the woman was a little rude, and by that I mean the way she would say excuse me or watch out, or coming through. So I worked here for 17 years and I still eat and love the pizza. I only will eat at a few other pizza places but there is not much comparison. I have an infant and I can say that their deep dish weighs as much as a newborn in a car seat. It's like carrying a manhole cover in a box. The pizza was good. A lot, a lot, of cheese and a very rich sauce. I can only eat a couple slices as the sauce is very rich and the deep dish is really heavy, but I definitely enjoyed it. Greasy, thin, tasteless sauce. My family enjoys getting it for parties but it makes my stomach churn. Needs more seasoning and less grease.

We were just cut off driving down Ogden by a Mrs. T's driver going about 55 in a 35 while using his cell phone. He proceeded to slam on his brakes after cutting us off then flipped us off before speeding away. WE WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN. Am a a regular customer of Mrs. T's for at least 25 yrs. or as long as they have been open, which is a long time. The pizza's are consistently good, not too greasy with plenty of sausage. The best thin crust around. I love about 6 miles from there and often drive the distance just to pick up a pizza. read more

Really good thin crust, as good as Angelo's in downtown, which is saying a lot. Every ingredient wasn't lacking in flavor, (especially the dough and sausage) and I could easily see why their thin crust has been a hit with many people. I could see see some people having a problem with the small interior, especially if you're bringing a group, but I happen to like the small space as it makes the experience more personable. Why does Downers Grove have so many good pizza places? I'm so jealous! read more

Been coming here since the 80's and they've never changed the recipe at all, and that's a good thing as their pizza is the best. I know everyone is different ,but if you haven't tried this family owned place, give it a try, Really good and super nice staff. read more

Mrs. T's pizza is decent, but nothing to write home about. However, this is the reason why I am giving this review one star: It's Friday night and I order pizza from Mrs. T's for pick up. They tell me 40 minutes. Just to be on the safe side, I arrive to pick up 45 minutes later. Half a dozen patrons are waiting for pick up. The staff seems very flustered and busy. Hello? Friday night is when people order pizza. Prepare yourself, Mrs. T's. They take my name, and I pay for my order. Someone who walked in after me also pays, and is immediately handed his pizza. Ten minutes pass and still no pizza for me. Then the phone rings. I hear the staff who answered the phone say my name. "You have her pizza?" She asks. Turns out they gave my pizza to the man who walked in after me. Now it will take another 40 minutes for my order. They offer me a $3 discount on my next order, but honestly, that's just not enough to make up for the fact that my kids are hungry, I paid for pizza, and I'm not going to get it. There are three dozen pizza joints in Downers Grove. If it's Friday night, don't take your chances on Mrs. T's. read more

We stopped in on an early week day afternoon and had the whole place to our selves. The place was neat and clean. We had a 14" thin crust sausage, mushroom, and pepperoni pizza. It came piping hot from the oven. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the 'za ! I like a good thin crust as it doesn't fill you up as much as a thick crust can. Next time I'll have to try the thick crust. It's easy to pass this place by even though it's right off a busy intersection. Do yourself a favor and give Mrs T's a try. read more

Yummy! This is by far the best pizza place in the suburbs! The cheese is fresh and gooey and melts in your mouth and pretty much every ingredient you put on the pizza is fresh and tasty... the staff is polite and courteous and the only bad thing I have to say about this place is that they close a little on the early side compared to most pizza places... but this place is most definitely the best pizza in the Western burbs hands down! read more

I will never order pizza from this place again. The woman that take the orders here is worthless. Several time my wife and i ordered pizza from here and the order was screwed up. Simply wanted a large pizza with double sausage and extra sauce, but on different times either didnt get the extra sausage or didnt get the extra sauce and since we picked it up our selves didnt know this till we got it home. The final straw was a couple of weeks back we had enough coupons to get a free pizza but the wife forgot the coupons when she went to pick it up and the woman refused to give us the pizza even though we ordered from them on a regular basis and even told her we would bring them in the next order. Stay away from this place and we suggest ordering from Skuttelbutts down the street. You get more pizza for the price and they make what you order. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. Recently we have been getting pizza with minimal ingredients, the edge of the crust is largely proportioned to where the ingredients and sauce begin. (Lots of crust with holes in it). Pricey for what you get. We've moved on unfortunately. read more

Found restaurant while traveling on business via yelp reviews. Comfortable dining area with good Chicago syle pizza and cold beer. As a thin-crust snob, raised on Vito and Nick's on the South Side, I am admittedly hard to impress and please when it comes to thin crust. This was AMAZING!!! And I loved the sauce - good sauce doesn't need to be overly seasoned. I planned on saving 1/2 for my husband when he got off work, but my daughter and I devoured our 12 inch. The staff is always very friendly and goes the extra mile to please the customer. They seem to have a following of regulars at the bar as well. Mrs. T's is tied in 1st place for best pizzerias around in my book. Get the thin crust pizza. Live right around the corner and tried this pizza for the first time. Was really disappointed. Thin crust good but next to no sauce-like they forgot it. Ordered veggie with onions, green peppers, mushroom, black olives. After picking it up and returning home discoverd they forgot the onions. Prices are typically $2-$3 higher than other local pizza places in D.G. Wouldn't normally care if the pizza was worth it. Maybe the cook had a bad night but I won't go back nor reccommend it. read more
