I purchased a scone from the farmers Market in Polson. So greasy that it ruined one of my shirts. When I brought it to thier attention, NOT even a "sorry". Just "There is alot of butter in them!!! "Never have I had a scone that the grease ran through the paper wrapper on the scone, the paper wrapper on the $15 loaf of bread I purchased and even onto my shirt! Disappointing to say the least!!! I have eaten there at least twice, but will think twice before returning. They even charge for the bread with the meal. read more

Not so wonderful. We found the place and it looked like what we were looking for only to be treated by Mrs. Wonderful at the door announcing that it wasn't open. Understandable when things happen or short staff or refrigeration is out, etc. so I asked her if she had a recommendation for an alternate and she said that she didn't have any. I pushed a little harder for a suggestion and nothing. Polson is a small town and Montanans are good people that generally help out. Mrs. Wonderful's Cafe was incredible! This is a small business so plan to spend a decent amount of time here, as the food is all homemade and therefore takes a little bit to come out. Don't fear, everything is worth the wait and every dish was incredible! Each bite was packed with flavor! Pricing is a little on the expensive side, but the portions were large and very filling! The patio is adorable and made for a relaxing brunch in a fun atmosphere. The staff here was all very friendly and attentive to the customers. They rounded on us frequently and made sure every need was taken care of! Overall I highly recommend this cafe! read more

Came here based off the reviews. The restaurant is piled up with all kinds of messy stuff and lacks a pleasant atmosphere. We were seated at a table with butcher paper covering the table where other tables had cloth. We wanted coffee and could only order a French press because that's all they offer and it's our least favorite coffee. To be honest the food is pretty expensive. $24 for pancakes. We opted for a scone and it was very good and expensive. If you like small portions and high prices this is your place! read more

Cute little place that I would've never checked out until a friend mentioned it. It doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside you find yourself in an eclectic charming restaurant. The cafe is tiny, only four five tables and you get overwhelmed by the delicious smell of home cooked food. We were there for pizza night - the menus features a few salads and variety of toppings to choose from. Everything was made to order and served by one of the owners, so bring a good conversation as it might take a bit. But, the wait is totally worth it - the salads were fresh and flavorful, pizzas were straight out of the oven, crispy and delicious. First Time here cute little place for lunch. A group of us were working at the hospital and this was the place that the docs typically go to. This is one of those times when the name truly fits place. Mrs. Wonderful's is really wonderful! My wife and have found a new favorite here in Polson. The homemade rustic bread is to die for and when used on any panini is one of the best things ever! I had the eggs and gluten free toast with homemade raspberry jam and it could not have been better. At the risk of it becoming over crowded I have to say you gotta go there! Did I mention they have wine and wine tastings! This is as close to being in Italy as you will find in Montana. read more

We were traveling from Whitefish to Missoula and I found lovely reviews on the cafe so we stopped here for lunch. The food was good but over priced for what you get, and the wait for food was terribly long, over an hour, and the waitstaff did not indicate this would be the case at the beginning. The service was slow from the start, they were slow to come out to take our orders, after we had put our orders in and had waited for some time, I went in to ask about our order. The waitress said that they normally take time and then handed me a table tent sign which she said should've been on the table. This sign indeed indicated that the wait time for food is long because they prepare their food from scratch. The waitstaff should have indicated from the beginning what we should expect. Even then I would say the wait was longer than what someone would consider reasonable. read more

Okay, the food was very good. I had the quiche and hubs had the Eggs Benedict. The three star rating was due to the restaurant service and atmosphere. If you have ever described a place as "granola" then you will understand that the fact the server was breastfeeding while taking orders, and the fact that there was "stuff" piled everywhere was a bit off putting. If that is your jam then five stars, as the food was tasty but not plentiful. I'm of the mind set that you stuff yourself at breakfast, so you may like the small portions. read more

I don't even pay that in NYC so that says a lot... If I did I know my plate would be packed. - scones are pretty good - coffee is strong but super acidic. - the two eggs platter should come with two pieces of toast and potatoes for 8. Instead you get two eggs one piece of toast cut in half and "fresh fruit" it's an orange slice, a strawberry and 6 grapes.... Who is going to be happy after that...??? Please read these reviews and do something. For $12 your biscuits and gravy should be served with two eggs as well. You have a good concept but you need to rework some of your portions and plates and prices. The prices are right if the portions reflect that. read more

Ice T was a flavor that I assume was raspberry or a tropical type, but no forewarned info on that. You may be of great wonder to the people of small town Montana, but in the big world of restaurants, coffee houses and bistros u would not last a month. Food was excellent but service was slow. Says they open early but you can't order breakfast until 10am! The blueberry scone was incredible-soft with a ton of blueberries and lemon frosting. The homemade toast was also delicious and sets this breakfast place apart. I also had some type of chai hot chocolate that was different than anything I have had before and was pretty tasty. Be careful-their sides are bigger than you think! The egg and ham panini is also huge! My husband and I wished we shared our meal! Ok, we tried this place again for the second time. The soup we had was good but this is the second time I found a hair in my food. The kitchen help does not wear hair nets or hair restraints. This is just plain gross and no action on behalf of the owner was offered or taken. I had complained both times and we will not be returning to this establishment. I have owned a restaurant previously and know proper cleanliness and procedures. This establishment does not. If you are looking for a hairy time go here. If no pass this place. read more
