One of my favorite patios in the area. The bison short rib was absolutely fantastic--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff making the experience even better. Highly recommend this gem for a great dining experience!

Absolutely a must stop! Fantastic service by Charmaine! We had mussels, salmon bruschetta as an appetizer then shared the prime rib! Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection! The weather was perfect to sit outside on the patio.

I'm in the Flathead Lake area for a business trip and wanted something to eat that wasn't pizza--for some reason there are lots of pizza places around here. The first place I stopped at was closed for renovations. That was a good thing or I might have missed the East Shore Smoke House. The decor is rustic and lovely--I'm was there in off season so the place was nearly empty. I ordered the combo minus ribs, and they let me swap in extra veggies which made me very happy. The waitress was super friendly and efficient. I can imagine what a fun spot this is in season too, and recommend you stop in.

Lovely patio, super friendly service, nice cocktails and great selection of Belgian Beers. Food was really good, too.

On an escape from the Seattle, we craved a steak. We stopped by the East ashore Smoke House for a ribeye and adult beverages. To my surprise, I found some Belgian beers that I really enjoyed. The steak was well cooked (medium) and the cut of meat was well-marbelled with no gristle. The sides were equally delicious. To top off the meal, I enjoyed a Belgian chocolate mousse. I'm a fan of dark chocolate and this hit the spot.

What a great experience! The atmosphere is amazing. Comfortable outdoor dining and outstanding beef brisket! Visited with a group of 46 people and the service was fantastic! We were all very impressed!!!

We were so lucky that by calling ahead that they agreed to take our group as we raced to get there before closing. They are lovely gracious hosts. I ordered the poutine topped w brisket. Yum!

First of all the appearance is great! Welcoming atmosphere and great outdoor space the owners must take pride in the facade! - The food is decent but way too over priced for what it is. - The waitress we had was Cheryl and I was told she was the owners daughter. Please fire her or have her in the back of the house busing tables. The bartender had to bring my drink after I asked another waitress to check at the bar, since 15 min had passed since she took my order. Here's the best part we finished our meals at 7:35 pm and it's now 8:17 pm and I still have yet to receive my card and bill back..... She obviously should not be a waitress and you will lose patrons for poor service, even if you had amazing food which is not the case. - So, good food at best, plus horrible service, equals horrible ratings and myself and anyone I know will never return or come here because word of mouth makes or breaks an establishment. People read yelp and I know they will appreciate my honesty. Ask for Lizzy or Krystal if you want good service! If you want decent food then try it out but it's worth the drive to keep going to woods bay to the raven!

Great option in the Polson area for some tasty bbq food! The environment is one of a kind and very rustic. The food is good and can be hit or miss but for the current condition the world is in, that is no surprise. I tried the bbq combo dish and it was good. Give it a try next time you're in the area!

    Bread pudding was the bomb!

Omg! Our first time here and it won't be our last! I had the prime rib stroganoff and it was so flavorful and the perfect size. Hubby had the burger which was yummy and our friend had the prime rib which was excellent! We shared their signature bread pudding for dessert and it was the best dessert I have ever eaten! The ambiance is spectacular! Rustic and warm and so inviting!

We arrived shortly after six on a Monday evening, easily found parking and, while about half the tables were full, we were seated quickly. Our waiter was kind but seemed nervous, reading the specials from a note pad. We started with sourdough and an order of calamari (yes, I know there isn't fresh squid within a hundred miles, it's one of our "always order to see what's up" dishes). Bread came out quickly with olive oil, balsamic, and some minced garlic - quite nice. A few minutes later, calamari - lightly breaded, perfectly fried, and a bit bland. It felt like they'd perfectly executed their vision, but it could've used a bit more seasoning to my taste. No tarter or other sauce, but a half lemon and some pickled sweet peppers. I ordered the bison burger and my wife went with the walleye. My burger was medium rare, as ordered, but the bottom bun was soggy and everything was buried in the thinly sliced red onion. It was fine but sadly forgettable other than having to slurp slices of onion after each bite. My wife raved about her walleye though, basically describing it as elevated nostalgia. It took her back to days of fishing on the lake with her family as a girl, but perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We finished with an espresso crème brûlée, which took about 20 minute after our meal to arrive. Apparently the chef was newer and accidentally put pistachios on the brûlée, as we got the last espresso and the next batch was pistachio flavored. We didn't mind, but it had the thickest crust I've ever seen on a brûlée - probably an eighth inch thick. It took two solid whacks to break through and was so thick it felt more like a burnt caramel. The crème itself was lovely but, as someone who prepared hundreds of brûlées in an earlier job and has eaten many since, it was sadly overshadowed by far too much sugar on top. It was an overall pleasant experience but honestly I owe much of that to the company of my wife. If we go back, the only thing we'd reorder is the sourdough to start. My wife loved her fish but still said she'd try something else next time.

I believe it was originally 1908 speakeasy and now they changed it to Showthyme Act II. Located downstairs in Showthyme's basement, this cool little bar seats about 15 people max. B very cozy but we came early enough that we could sit at the bar. We tried calling making reservations a couple of times but they were busy. Best to just show up early. When they announced that there were just a couple of elk ribeyes left, I had to be the one that got at least one of them! When it was served, the elk was piled with potatoes and mushrooms covered in some sort of gravy.if I'm ordering an elk ribeye, I'm expecting a chunk of meat on my plate. The elk was actually sliced in small pieces and maybe a total of 8 pieces. Really disappointed with this since it's $55 for this meal and it wasn't filling or fulfilling. The servers also told us to try the deconstructed beef Wellington, but after this experience, I'm sure it's a couple of rice cakes between a slice of roast beef. The tuna ceviche was good, but nothing to rave about.

The place is cozy and there is also a speakeasy bar in the basement that serves food as well. We tried the kombucha which was light in fermentation but still refreshing. For an appetizer, we got the wild mushrooms by popular review. The mushrooms really shined in their earthiness and I liked the variety, but perhaps a little too doused in oil and a little pricey at $16. It came with a puff pasty which was super flakey and was a nice addition to the dish. For mains, we got the prime rib and the elk steak. The prime rib was a decent size, slightly over medium rare. The horseradish sauce was very strong (and delicious). Another star part of the dish was the maple candied carrots, adding a delicious sweet element. The Elk was cooked medium rare and was also nicely portioned. It was paired fingerling potatoes and stir fry garlic spinach. I think the oil was a little heavy here too but the meat itself was cook. There was also huckleberry reduction spread on top, but it didn't have too much flavor. Overall, the meal was good, worthy of 4 stars. The dining area had a nice ambience and I really like the stained glass windows. It did take a bit between courses but the whole meal was still about 2 hours and the staff were really friendly.
