We had great customer service from all employees who were knowledgeable in their art. My massage therapist, Jason?, was was very good at deep tissue, and when I told him to ease up on the intensity he did a great relaxation massage as well. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage from his therapist too. This business is a scam. My mother purchased a LivingSocial deal as a gift for my husband and I for a couple's massage. My husband tried to contact them immediately to set up an appointment and had to call several times to get ahold of anyone since no one returned any calls. When he finally spoke to someone, they said they were booked up through the end of August (which is when our deal expired). They agreed to book an appointment for us on September 26th at 11 a.m. and still honor the LivingSocial discount. We arrived at 10:45 a.m. for our appointment because my husband had a bad feeling about this place after his experiences. The office is in a converted apartment building, and could not feel less like a legitimate business. We locate the office suite for this business, which is supposed to be open at 10:30 a.m...every light in the office is off and the shades are drawn. We wait around, just so we could be sure to knock at 11 a.m. in case someone was running late. No one comes. We were never called to be told there would not be an appointment. I peered in through the windows, there is not a piece of furniture in that office so I am sure they either went out of business without notifying anyone or they were never a legitimate business to begin with. For what it's worth - LivingSocial is useless in helping with this issue. They advised that since it's beyond the expiration date of the deal, we need to work directly with the merchant. Availability was limited for Saturday mornings offering the first available Sat morning as 5/28/16 which I scheduled immediately. I took off work and was all excited for this surprise start of our date. At 9:48pm the night prior (Fri) - less than 11 hours prior to my scheduled appointment - I received a text message from (651) 404-8856 stating, "This is MRT texting to let you know we have to reschedule your appointment. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, please call our office to reschedule at 651-200-4302 we open at 10:30 thank you" - who cancels via a text message at night???? I responded to the text and called the office to leave a voice message immediately. I also called the next morning (Sat) at 10:35am, got their voicemail and left a detailed message requesting a call back to reschedule. I called a second time Sat (5/28) afternoon reached voicemail and left another message. I called the phone number on the Living Social voucher AND the phone I received the text from on Monday (5/30) afternoon and Tues (5/31) all reaching voicemail and leaving messages. STILL NO CALL BACK FROM THIS MRT MASSAGE! What kind of customer service is that? So now I go to their FaceBook page that I previously had liked and see that they have deleted it, but have created another one that has zero (0) reviews. Hmmmm, why was this deleted? Originally, I checked it out before I purchased and there were a couple clients with bad experiences and others that generally said the location was bad, but it was cool. So I took my chances - bad decision on my part. Well I invested 26 mins of my work day to call Living Social and get a refund to find out the merchant marked the voucher redeemed on 5/27 (Fri) which is the day PRIOR to my scheduled appointment. I figured taking another 10 minutes to hopefully minimize others from experiencing what I did is the right thing to do. I received the text that they need to re-schedule my appointment then found more reviews online that this has happened to multiple others and they have never ended up receiving their appointment. I wish I would have read the reviews on Yelp before I bought my Groupon! I booked my massage the same day as I bought the deal, and the soonest I could get in was 3 weeks out. I have been dealing with pain in my neck and shoulders, and was really looking forward to getting some of the kinks worked out. Like so many others have mentioned, I got a call from Alicia 2 hours before my massage, saying that they were doing some "remodeling", so she asked if I could come in the following day. She made it sound like she was doing me a favor by getting me in on a day when they are closed, and said I would get complimentary hot stones and aromatherapy. I agreed and rescheduled for 3pm the next day. At 11am the day of my massage, she called back and said that the medical therapist wouldn't be able to get out of the hospital in time for my massage, so she asked that it be pushed back to 5pm or 5:30pm. Going that late was not ideal, but I agreed because I really wanted to get my massage that I waited 3 weeks for. I said I would come in at 5:30 so it would give him enough time to get there. At 3pm, she texted me and said "it looks like he may be stuck at the hospital longer than expected," and didn't mention anything about rescheduling. I promptly emailed Groupon and got a refund.
