Food horrible. I had fish, flounder, two extremely small pieces that were too salty. Cabbage missing flavor,Mac and cheese too dry and over cooked and the worse was the potato salad. It was store bought you know the kind they sell in containers. I will say the corn bread (jiffy type ) was ok. It's a nice looking exterior but there was no good food inside. My son got the chicken,Mac and cheese and collards and he ended up throwing his away. If you aren't going to make your own potato salad don't put it on the menu. I will never go back. read more

Rude staff. I told them my honest opinion on their food and they hung up, called me back and called me all kinds of B's and slurs and said I'm no food critic and they've been in business for years. I visited Ms. B's today, and unfortunately, it was my first disappointing experience there. When I arrived, the restaurant was not busy, but I there was no one at the host stand, so I approached the bar to place a to-go order. The woman behind the bar seemed uninterested and gave off an attitude as though she didn't want to take my order. Once I got home and checked my food, I was very disappointed. The macaroni and cheese were burnt, and the lima beans had little to no flavor--almost as if they were straight out of a can. Given that the food here isn't cheap, I was really let down by today's visit. read more

Heard a coworker was raving about it at work while eating it , so I decided to give it a try since it smelled good. It was just OK not phenomenal . In my opinion definitely not worth the value for what was paid. $25.00 is a lot for. a small carry out plate of watery rice, 4 oxtail bones, dry mac n cheese and slightly bitter greens. The oxtails were seasoned good and meat wasn't too tough but some if it was a little chewy. The cornbread was good though. I would've been happier with a little more meat for the price. There were 3 tiny pieces and 2 medium. I have paid less like 15-18 at other places and gotten more meat. Apparently they have fallen off based on some other reviews, but they have also had time ti make it better. Hopefully this review helps. read more

this one star was forced because they deserve zero!! the food was dry & old. the young girl was so rude she messed up my whole vibe before and even order. then she said I couldn't wait on my food at the bar because I had a child but had her bad kids sitting in the booths. Not one booth but two booths had unattended kids. So apparently they don't pay their workers enough to pay for day care. Can't believe I let my mom convince me into going to that ghetto Nasty place. The food was OK. I think it was a little overpriced compared to similar restaurants. My server was really inattentive. Another server brought me a drink refill and some utensils (plastic...hard to cut a pork chop with a plastic knife) which my server forgot. The table had a sticky build up of what seemed like grease. I've came 3x within 4 months time span. Ive stop going out due to the sanitary issues in Columbia, SC restaurants. But here, The food is very well seasoned not over salted, you get alot for your buck, the atmosphere is nice and clean, which is important when getting food. They have a great rating from sanitation inspection. Thats important. Ive ordered 2 different meals everytime I came and there were no disappointments. The service was also great, very professional and polite. read more

No No and Never!!! Visiting for the weekend food was horrible. Only cheese in Mac and cheese was burn on top and couldn't even chew it. The cabbage was pickled and tasted sour. Customer service 0. Staff was in parking lot chilling. One staff member laid back on table for a nap with apron on,smh I do not recommend for anyone who ain't from the area. Maybe this is the style of cooking here. Neither one of her restaurants is something to write home to momma about. The staff at both locations suck. At the drive thru restaurant the gravy made me sick the next day, at the bigger restaurant, the food is not plated up like in the photos. The meatloaf was served to us like it was from the day before (dry as ). When I sent it back, no one came out to address it publicly with me. With all due respect, I want be visiting this place no time sorry. So let me say sorry for the inconvenience. read more

And the menu and board outside list the few options they have to eat but they don't list prices... for good reason it was $55 for me and my aunt to eat just for a 2 chicken leg plate and cube steak.
