Called this location in regards to placing an order and having difficulty finding a specific menu item online. A man picked up and didn't have a very good tone, or attitude on the phone. I asked if there was someone who can help me find the 'smashed burger' online to place the order, as I couldn't place an order over the phone. I understand things must be difficult or frustrating right now however doesn't mean customers should be treated this way. I needed guidance to order and he was very rude, and inconsiderate. He then comes to tell me "Ok well I have someone else on the other line hope you find it" and places me on hold. What he said wasn't that bad but THE WAY he said it was bad especially coming to find out he was the manager on duty. The patty melt and short rib sandwiches were excellent. We went around noon on a Saturday, and there were tons of loud kids, so if this bothers you, head outside to their back dining area. It does take a while to input what seems to be a simple order into an iPad, and the 20% suggested tip for counter service seems a bit ambitious. That said, if you're tipping 20% for grilled cheese, I would expect that napkins are automatically provided when served a sandwich and that you are not told that they are out of catsup for French fries when asked. We asked the next table if we could borrow their catsup. A plus would also be fresh iced tea instead of canned Nestea. Food would be 5 stars, service 3. Made my way over to the original brick and mortar Ms. Cheezious store on a Wednesday evening. They were having an event so I ended up getting a free Original Grilled Cheese, but I also ordered a Crabby Cheese Melt. Quality I'll be frank, if the Original Grilled Cheese was all I ever tried at Ms. Cheezious I would not be inclined to return. With just some cheddar cheese served up on sourdough bread, it is a far cry from the more inventive offerings on the Ms. Cheezious menu. However, luckily it was just the free offering and the Crabby Cheese Melt I ordered was a significant step up. Essentially the same makeup as the original, this version merely upped the cheese and added crab salad that suddenly it was a sandwich bursting with flavor. Even though I would not classify it as the best sandwich I have had from Ms. Cheezious it was definitely a satisfying treat. Quantity My belief is that one sandwich is not quite enough, but two sandwiches leaves you uncomfortably full. Your best bet is to bring a friend and enjoy a sampling of three different sandwiches. Value Even though Ms. Cheezious has grown significantly since they were the most popular food truck at every event, the prices remain nearly the same. The sandwiches range from $7 to $10, but they have definitely expanded in terms of sides and treats. Ambiance This Ms. Cheezious location is found in the North Miami area of Little River, right off Biscayne Blvd. It is an area that has grown quickly with all sorts of unique and cool restaurants popping up. Unlike its counterpart in Coral Gables this location has an outdoor area, which definitely ups its appeal. When you enter they have a counter right at the front and then a bunch of indoor tables to the left. Inside they also have televisions, both of which were showing Miami Heat highlights. If you follow the hallway to the back you will find the outdoor oasis. On this evening they had a number of different DJs and music acts performing on the lawn. They have picnic tables and chairs set up and on a normal day would have games such as cornhole ready for families. The music they were playing was house tracks, and being that it was Miami Music Week it was unsurprising, but I would venture the usual background music is a bit less intense. Crowd As a result of the event and the free sandwiches it was very crowded and probably looked a lot different than a typical night. It was definitely full of a lot of people in the music industry with DJs, audio folks, and photographers making up much of the crowd. However, the restaurant usually is very family friendly, while still providing beers and wine for the munchie crowds. Service The girls working at the counter were far from the fastest or most pleasant, but considering most of the business was going to be for free sandwiches, the tip prospects were probably an influence on the attitude. However, the sandwiches still came out fast and they had folks constantly going around and cleaning off tables. Parking The parking is not great, but it is actually not as miserable as it once was. There is no designated lot, but street parking on all the surrounding streets is pretty simple. There are also lots of crosswalks so the dangers of Biscayne Blvd have greatly lessened if you park across the way. Extra Ms. Cheezious is basically an institution in Miami and if you haven't tried their sandwiches yet with multiple locations and a food truck I don't know what you are doing. This visit was definitely not my favorite in terms of what I ordered or the generally atmosphere of crowd and staff. Recently saw Ms. Cheezious in Wynwood for the Veza Sur block party. Prior to that I remember this amazing truck always sitting outside gramps ready to be ordered from after a late night of drinks, so as soon as I saw the truck at this event I knew I had to order from there. I ended up splitting the pesto grilled cheese and I was not disappointed. It was perfectly warm, toasty and cheesy. You know it's good when you bite and there's such a long cheese pull you have to bite again. My first bite actually took 4 pulls to break the cheese apart. It was a good size to share as we had eaten some small bites beforehand. We also decided to get a side of fries which I forgot to take a picture of but wow for $4 they really fill them up for you. They also have a nice selection of sauces outside on their window ready to use with to go containers. If you ever spot this truck and you're a grilled cheese fan, then run after it. This finally happened. They have opened their location on Biscayne Blvd. I have been a loyal fan since the foodtruck made its appearance. They have taken a classic staple to the food culture and made it Better! My first sandwich was the Bbq pulled pork sandwich. It moist and juicy bbq pork with sharp cheddar cheese on Texas toast. It's simple and delicious. I also have had the crabby cheese melt. That's real crab in a crab salad with sharp cheddar cheese on sourdough bread. The short rib melt is tasty as well. It's braised shortribs with Jack cheese, pickled caramelized onions, and arugula on sourdough bread. My favorite is the croqueta monsieur. It's ham croqueta, tavern ham, Swiss cheese, and béchamel sauce on sourdough bread. I also had the creamy gouda mac and cheese topped with parmesan crumble and house cured bacon. Deliciousness. They also have an outside patio that's very nice to sit and enjoy your meal. The place is new and fresh and so clean. The staff is friendly and helpful in choosing your meal. There's something very American about a restaurant owing its beginnings to a food truck. No, not because of the "can-do" attitude that comes with starting from the bottom, pulling yourself up from your bootstraps, and working your way up to success. No. It's because a truck that literally drives food to your location just isn't enough for us fat fucking Americans. We need 10,000 square feet of space to store all the grease we need to assassinate our pancreas. I loved Ms. Cheezious the first time I had it, and now that they've set some roots and I don't need go through my usual ritual of bribing someone at the NSA for their current location, I love it even more. I never really got into the food truck thing because of that. Nobody wants to hire Dog the Bounty Hunter just because they want a grilled cheese sandwich, you know? I mean, nobody wants to hire Dog the Bounty Hunter at all, really. Dana and I went the Sunday on its opening week. I expected to find hordes of people, and I anticipated maybe eating in the car, or if we were lucky, getting a standing room only spot near the restrooms. The place just opened, and they have a reputation for making the best grilled cheese out of a truck in Miami-Dade county, so that wasn't some wild assumption I pulled out of my ass or anything. I mentally prepared. I drank my pre-workout drink just in case. I had my Swiss Army knife handy. I braced myself as I entered and holy shit it was empty. Two people there. Sunday at, like, 7 PM on its opening weekend and it was empty. I wondered if maybe people were driving around with a bloodhound and Daryl Dixon aimlessly looking for the food truck. Inside, the place looked great. It had that "we found this shit on Etsy, that's why this chair wobbles a bit" decor. You know what I'm talking about. Mason jars, reclaimed wood, muted pastel-colored chairs; the works. It's the kind of stuff women pin on Pinterest. They have an outdoor area too, with some trees and very tastefully done. It almost makes you forget that someone was murdered a few blocks west. That's Miami for you. Before I get to how great the food was (and it was), I should mention that even though the place was as full as Kanye West is humble, it took over 30 minutes from when we placed our order for us to receive food. Again, I don't know if they had to track the fucking truck down to get the food, but it was an absurd amount of time for us to wait. And we were hungry as hell. The second time we went with some other people, service was quick, so it was more than likely an isolated incident. Still, I felt the need to point that out for both posterity and the opportunity to make fun of Kanye. The sandwiches are, of course, scrumptious. I scrumpted™ the hell out of my food. We shared a Southern Fried Chicken and Waffle Melt, which is self-explanatory, and a Mackin Melt, a sandwich that gained sentience and decided to eat a bowl of mac and cheese. I also had a side of fries, which tasted fresh and greasy. All in all, I ate enough carbs to make a morbidly obese man tell me he's concerned for my health. I wanted the s'mores sandwich, but Dana threatened to leave me, and I figured it wasn't worth it. I could always just come back another time without her knowing. My newly found obsession with food trucks cannot be okay. If anyone knows of a 12-step program or something of the like let me know; I'm sure I'm driving all my friends NUTS with, "food truck X is here today, lehhhgo!" So, when I called Jay K up to join me at the Launch Arte fair in midtown last Saturday, he didn't hesitate. We got there kind of late in the afternoon--around 2pm and walked around Launch Arte to see what else was there. Secretly, I had already made my mind up the Ms. Cheezious was gettin' mah money. Once it was decided we would both eat here, then the real decisions began...what to get?? I'm a full on turophile (yes, that is an actual word) so the decision was not an easy one. I eventually chose the goat cheese and prosciutto while my buddy got the blue cheese and bacon. Which was awesome for me because that was my 2nd choice, therefore ensuring me at least a bite of additional delicious. The timing was perfect and it came out hot and gooooooooey. I really enjoyed my buddy's blue cheese and bacon--I think it would actually be perfect to accompany their tomato soup. But, but, but, my goat cheese and prosciutto was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Anytime I can buy a grilled cheese sandwich from a Kurt Rambis' doppelgänger is a good day for me. Serious - I had to do a double take thinking I'd been transported to the mid '80s when Superman was doing the dirty work on the hardwood. I'm sure if I was eating a grilled cheese with Magic, even he'd have to take a second glance. I digress... As the name suggests, these are some serious grilled cheese sandwiches. Bleu cheese + bacon never seemed like anything I'd crave until I bit into this creation that apparently won awards at a Food Network mobile food truck event last year. They also boast grilled cheese sandwiches lathered in pesto, piled high with pork, as well as many other savory vittles. All in all, a nice little treat outside of the newly minted Gramps in Wynwood. The Food Truck craze has taken flight in Miami and a lot of them are getting it right. Let's face it, some of them overdo it. If I see a menu on a truck with over a dozen options, I tend to think there's no way you can get that many things right in such a little box resting on 4 wheels. However, the trucks that choose a focus, and try to do it right, do the best. Ms. Cheezious may be the most victorious. The success is in the simplicity. The truck itself has curb appeal, as well. The grilled cheese is a classic. Gluten free lactose intolerant people may wanna skip this one. So, the good news is that this review is a pretty simple and easy one to write. The choices are few but delicious. The wait a bit long. Be sure to go with funny friends, preferably with a buzz. My pal and I tried Ms. C for the first time at a recent truck rally in Miami Lakes and we opted for the crab melt and the bacon blue. The bacon craze has gotten out of hand, and, like an Ed Hardy tshirt, has lost some novelty. No, you aren't that cool and hip or an edgy foodie for making a bacon dessert. Knock it off. However, if you take a staple like a grilled cheese and throw some thoughtfully fried bacon on it, chances are you will make me smile. If that cheese happens to be blue, even better. Wow wow wow. After a fun filled food truck evening at Tamiami we all rode home discussing how fabulous my prosciutto and goat cheese sandwich was. The bread was toasted to perfection and not too greasy, the goat cheese was flavorful and spread evenly around the whole sandwich, the prosciutto was portioned perfectly and sliced ever so thin, the tomato was fresh and the arugula tied everything together like a big bow on a cheese-filled present. Wow. Ms. Cheezious is one good looking food truck. I love the Tiffany Blue coloring - at least that's what I saw in the dark. The chef's adorable apron even matched the truck. The problems others had with wait times was not at all an issue tonight - maybe they're streamlined the process or came well prepared for a crowd but I waited only about 5 minutes and it was waaaay quicker than some of the other trucks. Others in our group loved the Turkey Chili and I thought the sweet potato fries were good, nothing out of this world but good. If you see this blue beauty and are willing to pay top dollar for a gourmet grilled cheese delight don't hesitate. And get the goat cheese prosciutto. read more

The truck is just so adorable specially to me as I love anything to do w/ pin up decor, the dresses & the girls... (in my past life I hope I was one...lol) I also love the fact that this truck is one of the few that sets up a few tables and chairs for their customers. Nice touch! Service is friendly and quick and there will be a line as we all love this comfort food and they have fans such as myself that will follow them around all truck events. My sister shared "the Italian" and it was a delicious blend of Provolone, tomato, basil and cream cheese on country white bread...so delicious. Perfect blend of all ingredients and it was nicely toasted to perfection. I also shared The Grilled Harvest that has Spiced apples and havarti cheese grilled to perfection on multi-grain bread.
